For fast food, Wendy's does a good breakfast. Love their breakfast potatoes, and easily would stop in on the regular to have with ghost pepper ranch. I wish both were regularly offered, and all day. Came here for a baked potato & 4 piece nuggets. The food was good but the atmosphere? Stuffy because the A/C went on the fritz! NOBODY should have to work under these conditions! That's just cruel! Bettina and her staff did a great job at solving an incorrect order. She is a very passionate manager and I believe she will do great at the store. If you go there in the black girl is working the counter just be prepared that she's super stingy about giving out sauces. I go to this location often and they always give me two wrenches to go with my order but when she was working I asked her for an extra one and she said that will be 50 cents extra. This Wendy's is a newer franchise store that is in the new Fry's Marketplace retail complex of Apache Trail in Apache Junction. The outside is very modern. Around the store is clean, though very dark. I used the drive-thru, and found the board easy to read and the microphone and speaker system understandable for once! The gal on the other end did not sound like the teacher from Peanuts! (Wah wah wah. Drive up, please, wah.) My order came quickly. I got two small bowls of chili, two small fries, two junior bacon cheeseburgers, and was talked into the 3 for the price of 2 cookie sale. I was on my way home from work and really could use that cookie! The staff at the window was very friendly and efficient. I received my items and headed home. My only negative was that I wanted the double chocolate cookies, and got the regular chocolate chip instead. But let's face it, they were chocolate, they were huge, and they hit the spot. J likes the onions and cheese on his chili, and he did mention that he had hardly any on his. So maybe a little skimpy on those toppings. I'm sure that I will visit this Wendy's again. read more

Depending on what you order it's a hit or miss for your food. Love there fish sandwich but usually out. Love there chicken sandwich over others on the menu. I do recommend it. At this location I have never had hot French fries. Warm yes but never hot. As always the chocolate frosty is by far the best purchase at any Wendy's. The quality of food here is great, and their speed is what you would expect from a fast food burger joint. The employees seem to be nice. My complaint about this place is they fuck up my order every damn time. I always get home without chicken nuggets for my kid, or missing grandma's burger. Today I sat at the drive-through window and double checked all my food in the bags. They had forgotten chicken nuggets, so I sat there until the worker came back. She said oh yea I am getting those nuggets out now, despite indicating that I was all good to go and closing the window about a minute before. I got the chicken nuggets squared away and drove home. Then it dawned on me. I only had seen 1 sandwich. I drove back up and getting a replacement was very easy, BUT I HATE THAT I ALWAYS HAVE TO GO UP THERE TWICE TO GET ALL OF MY FOOD. This Wendy's isn't very old. Maybe 5 years. It used to be really good. It didn't take long to become another run-down dump just like the rest of the run-down dumps in AJ. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a collection of homeless tweakers occupying the booths, camping out for the day. You'll smell their funk before you even see them. If you decide not to bolt out of the place, you'll find yourself being grunted at by the help at the counter, who closely resemble the rif-raf sleeping in the dining room. You won't be surprised by the food at this point. The "customers" in the dining room frequent the local dumpsters for their cuisine, so the management has matched the quality as closely as possible. Expect dried out, hard crusty buns, potatoes that could be mistaken for baseballs, and a drink counter that is cleaned as frequently as the tweakers are. In the end, the choice is yours. read more

On a recent trip to Wendy's I ordered a baconator combo the fries were so cold. limp and soggy and we're unbeatable the hamburger was cold and needed to be microwave just to be able to eat it I also ordered a chicken nugget order which was cold. Fast food seems to get a lot of hate on Yelp but Wendy's continues to make a great burger and this location coupled it with a solid restaurant experience. Dave's double and triple burgers (look, I don't visit Wendy's for a salad) were great, fries were hot, and sodas refillable in the Freestyle machine. We also added a couple chocolate Frosty's for dipping the fries (hopefully you know this delicious food hack) and all in all we had a couple great lunches while staying in Superstition area. Restaurant was clean each time we visited and we sat and ate in the restaurant. We did get hassled once by a manger who didn't want to let us use our free Frosty key tabs that we bought through some Wendy's promo a while back - the only Wendy's along the west coast that's hassled us in 6 months - but he ultimately capitulated after he felt satisfied with clarifying the fine print. Rest of crew was competent and friendly each visit and food was always great. We'll be visiting again I'm sure when the next burger craving hits. read more

The drive through was slammed during my visit, and I know how chaotic things can be. The host Leton made sure we were taken care of, and even though I didn't feel like we waited long for our order he upgraded my frosty. I understand that with amist the chaos of orders from the drive through, it might slow things down a bit, but Leton went above and beyond call of duty by making sure that not just us, but everyone there was happy. Covid-19 is here, I'm not going into stores OR to walk in and pick up an order...their app is GREAT it allows you to order and PREPAY...GOOD FOR THEM!! In response to COVID, this Wendy's has limited seating inside so once you take a seat you can remove your mask and be 10 feet from the nearest other patron. The soft drink dispensers can be operated by patrons via smart phones so you don't even have to touch the screen anymore. Get home and the uncrispy, rubbery, microwaved chicken sandwich just couldn't be eaten. They are getting paid better, but it doesn't translate to their work. The 3rd strike in 5 visits. Went back and spoke with manager, told him there are a lot of competent people looking for work, to which he replied "get the F--- out of my store. Filed complaint on Wendy's website with no response for 2 days, filed a 2nd complaint, still no response. The new jalapeno popper chicken sandwich fell apart and the patty looked like it had been frozen and broke in half before cooking. What happened to customer service? Wendy's was the only fast food joint I utilized.
