Poor service, food consistency is poor. Staff doesn't care about taking orders and ensuring food is correct

We were seated by the owner since we bumped into him while entering the restaurant. Our server explained it was the owner's birthday and we would be receiving complimentary bran muffins (those were delicious)!!! My mom ordered the grilled shrimp, cheese grits and braised cabbage. She would try another side in place of the grits next time but overall she enjoyed her meal. I ordered the catfish dinner (requested fried hard/crispy) loaded baked potato (prefer to be a little hotter) and green beans. Check them out if in the area.

It seemed as if they only had one server working at the time but she was nice and patient. I ordered a margarita which took a good minute to arrive but it was good. I will say the service was kind of slow but I can't complain since there was only one server (from what I could see). The food was very flavorful and hot when it arrived to the table. I was surprised at how big the shrimp were but the wings were somewhat small. Overall this was an okay experience, it would be a great place for early-day dining instead of dinner.

We were able to park easily and make our way into the restaurant with ease. There is ample outside and inside seating, however, know that the TVs are going to be on full blast, especially during football games! We ordered a chicken shawarma gyro with a side of roasted vegetablesThe Gyro (beef-lamb) with Mediterranean fries. My husband enjoyed The Gyro and would get it again. My chicken shawarma was just meh because it lacked any real seasoning/spice. The ingredients are quality but the flavor was not there for me. I enjoyed the roasted veggies which were interestingly well seasoned. Service was friendly and prompt. The ambience is college town vibes (7 tvs each blaringly loud). Decor was nice with plenty of windows with natural light, wood tables and comfortable chairs (no arms on any of them) and bar stools. 1 star deduction for lack of flavor in sandwich 1 star deduction for WAY too loud TVs (excessive) exacerbated by Kitchen sounds

The server that placed my order and the one that brought it to my table were both very nice and helpful. They themselves were the right vibe inside to make you feel great. The Gyro was super delicious but I wasn't sure what to get for a side so I asked the order taker and she mentioned a few options told me this one was her favorite so I ordered it and it was super duper delicious.

The atmosphere is cute - the menu is limited (1 burger, 3 sandwiches, 2 or 3 flatbreads and 2 salads). We ordered: 1 - the double cheeseburger, boring. Lots of meet but not much in the way of toppings. The pickle slice was nice. 2 - BLT, boring. Needs a sauce, even mayo. Would love to see palmetto cheese or avocado or cheddar. Spring mix is the wrong choice in lettuce as well. It turns into mush with the tomato. Nothing memorable. 3 - The Yardhouse, awkward. It was hard to eat with large chicken "cubes" and lots of white bbq sauce. Either keeping the chicken whole or using a shredded chicken would be better. 4 - Fries. 1 order would have been plenty to share among 3 people. They were the best part of the meal and came with a fry sauce. Another strike is that they don't brew their own tea. We're in the Deep South... some days the best thing we've got is fresh brewed tea at every turn. This was a nope... but on top of that the carbonation was "off" in the soda machine too. Good thing drinks are only $2.

The bread was great and crispy, but the rest of the sandwich was uninspired. You couldn't even taste the pimento cheese. The fries were okay but needed more salt. With so much competition in town, I was hoping there would be more levels of flavor. The restaurant is very clean, which is always a plus for me. I've heard good things about the salads. Maybe go for one of those.
