I ordered the Grand Turkey Club Meal with Onion Rings and Orange Cream Shake. My friend ordered the Chicken Bacon & Swiss Meal with Curly Fries and a Soda. We also got Jalapeno Bites and Mozzarella Sticks. Honestly we both liked the sides more than the sandwiches. I should've told them no sauce on my Grand Turkey Club because it tasted really heavy with it. However, the tomatos and one piece of veggie made up for it. The Chicken Bacon and Swiss tasted good with the honey mustard sauce. The Mozzarella Sticks was nothing special but the sauce was cold which didn't taste that great. I didn't really like the Jalapeno Bites. The Curly Fries and Onion Rings are good though! The Orange Cream Shake is also good but can get really sweet and might not go so well with the sandwiches since it's too thick. read more

I have a pretty special order at Arby's. Okay, it's not that special, but it's tremendous when they get it right the first time. A few years ago, Arby's had a turkey reuben on the menu. It has since left, but they have the turkey and they still make a corned beef reuben. I always order the turkey reuben and, on this visit, the manager gave special instructions to the staff to ensure it was correct. And it was. Always great food and service here. Sure it is fast food, but so what? When is good it is good. On our most recent trip here we had the roast beef, and the brisket. Good stuff. And curly fries too. Chronic attitude issues, rudeness and disrespect to the customers by most of the employees at this particular Arby's is quite telling. I find it fascinating that this long-standing, long-term situation is still occurring to this date. Perhaps, it's difficult to eradicate it due to the way management handles their affairs. In any event, it is NOT acceptable to me any longer. There are a few simple rules in the restaurant industry; acknowledge the customer; welcome the customer; take their order with a wide-open ear; thank the customer when the transaction is completed. Simple rules like that are rarely used at this establishment. There seems to be no accountability at this location. Would this even fly at a bona fide restaurant? In the past, when I caught an attitude from their employees or experienced their rude, unwelcoming behavior, I would just sucked it in and do my best to keep it cool. How I retaliated was to not frequent their establishment. Well, after staying away from their restaurant for over three months, I figured I'd give them another shot, so I went in and ordered a chicken sandwich. Just a single chicken sandwich, no sides, no drink, no special order requests. I waited a seriously longtime for that sandwich. When I noticed that the two other customers after me, with their large order were taken care of before me, I asked the person that took my order, (as polite as I could be) what the status of my order was. She replied in a rude tone, "It hasn't come out yet." She never bothered to look into it, or even be apologetic about it. The fact that she could care less was very telling to me. Same ol', same ol' attitude this location is infamous about. At that point, I asked her for a refund. She threw up her hands and screamed, "somebody give him his money back." The manager stepped in and took care of it. She kept apologizing, but it was too little too late for me. The crazy thing is, my chicken sandwich (remember that?) never made the pass or was even cooked. This unabated mindset and established set of attitudes are held by most if not all of their employees. IMHO, you have to look at their management team and how corporate handles things when it comes to the comfort of the customers and their employees... This long-lasting rude and unfriendly work environment is toxic not only to the customers, but to the corporate brand. This grossly managed location should be on the front burner with corporate, yet corporate hasn't done a thing about this for at least a decade. It seems to be all about the crew and what they want to do behind the counter, instead of the the customer and their satisfaction on the other side of that counter. Don't even think about arriving at the drive-thru at about a half hour before they close, because more times than not they say they're already "closed." This Arby's drive-thru states it closes at 2:00 A.M., I've been there at 1:30 A.M. and they have said "they're close." Perhaps, their needs outweigh the customer's "wants." I get it, they want to get home sooner than later. I'm okay with that, just change the sign to read, "Close at 1:30 A.M." I'm not sure if firing the entire crew will work. I feel you have to start with the management team. What in the world is going on there to allow the crew to become this harmful and destructive to the brand? I have expressed my utter disgust with their service on site and here on Yelp, yet I don't see things changing anytime soon. The fact that it's not about fixing the product and just about fixing the employee to customer dynamic would seem to be a no-brainer and a simple fix. Seems like there's a lot more to it, since nothing has been done to remedy this an insane amount of years. Arby's is good and one day a cashier got my name right or recognized me and any student from FLHS or George J Ryan middle school can eat there and I like how they change the soda machine and how they put a sign on the two bathroom door telling you to go and tell the cashier you need to use the bathroom and they wil push a buzz or button and tell you to push the door open. This is located right by Hand carwash 2000 and two or more gas station that sells food,lottery and water too big or small and it is close to the local FDNY fire department station house and a bank TD Bank which one housed a shell gas station and near a dentist,barbershop,teashop bakery pizza and department store, movies, pharmacy art and craft store. It is literally down the road from FLHS and right across the street from MS216 and near Dunkin Donuts. Ring a bell if you think it was great service after leaving. The service wasn't terrible or horible it was a great service and drive thru is great too but never try ordering from there only in the restaraunt. read more

Arby's, where I lived during high school. I don't mind the packed-ness during the after school rush, that just means everything is coming out fresh from the fryer, and the curly fries are perfect. Avoid the dining room and just go through the drive-thru if you can. Always get the curly fries! And sometimes a Jamocha shake, the only milkshake type drink I ever indulge in. I just recently tried one of their hero-type sandwiches (forgot what they're called) and it was actually REALLY good, like a great deli hero, not some weird fast food knockoff. The chicken tender/strips/whatever they call them are really good, too. I don't like Arby's sauce, it tastes like gross pizza sauce, so just avoid it. read more

We had a nice lunch here on Friday. My husband had the brisket sandwich with curly fries combo and an order of onion rings. I had the pecan chicken salad sandwich with the new bag of chips combo. We both had soda. We liked Arby's because you can go up and get as much beverage as you want. They have good beverage choices. We liked all of the sauces that you can take and put on your fries and sandwiches. I liked the new bag of chips. I also enjoyed the pecan chicken salad sandwich. My husband liked the Brisket sandwich and curly fries and onion rings. School did not start yet so we were able to enjoy our lunch with the locals. We did watch the TV on the wall. It is a nice place to go to or lunch. It was about $10 per person. We did not use any coupons. Once school starts you will have all the high school students in this place. The noise level will be high and it will be better if you get your food to go. It may be hard to find a booth. I wish they had napkins that customers can take for themselves. We were given 4 napkins for the both of us. Bring your own napkins with you. This is a good place for a fast lunch. There were good choices on the menu. You could have a salad and a diet coke if you want to. We were tired of the same old Burger places. They have turkey and chicken too. I like the choice of the market sandwiches. They have good sides. Workers are pretty friendly too - very convenient - right off the Utopia pkwy (eastbound) exit on the LIE ... get right back on (easy off easy on). Mouth Watering. Most, If not all (i'm not sure) of the breads are toasted. And they serve not just regular fries but curly fries! I've had the pastrami and damn its so good. Excellent experience, food and dessert was delicous and the entire place is clean and new even the bathrooms. I live about 5 miles away but it was worth the trip and will definitally be back. I haven't seen too many Arby's in the NYC area or any for that matter. Out side of the NYC area they're more common. Not a bad place to eat but if you can avoid going to this particular Arby's during school hours during the school year you will be better off. It's near Francis Lewis HS and the dining area is full of high school kids horsing around. The food isn't bad I usually get the Santa Fe salad. Service is ok but there is a heavy set white girl that works the drive through who has a bad attitude and rolls her eyes at me when I ask for extra dressing for my salad but besides that it's not bad. read more

I haven't been to an Arby's in years, but the other day they had a great anniversary promotion and we decided to try them out. What a pleasant surprise. The location is very clean, although the interior is a bit dated. But as we approached the door one of the crew members opened it for us and welcomed us. The crew member at the counter was polite and professional, and not like the typical employee at any other fast food chain. He was efficient and treated each customer with respect. We ordered the classic roast beef which was tasty and had a fresh toasted bun which was far better than typical. The real surprise was the extra sandwich we took home and ate the following day. Literally was telling someone this place kind of feels like a 4 star restaurant. They make sure in detail to get your order right and it was fresh. They keep you updated on your order. I was here for breakfast. Ordered 2 chicken biscuit for $3 and hubby had the ham & cheese sourdough breakfast meal. The food were hot , even though the biscuit were a bit dry and the coffee pot were filled. Compared to McD, Arby's hash brown were better, not so greasy and I could still taste the potato in it. Only giving these 3 stars because The greek gyro is pretty good considering it's not a greek place & Curly fries are also good but I honestly dont care for anything else. The potato cakes were disgusting. they are like oversized hashbrowns that are so greasy the oil squirts in your mouth as you bite it. This place always forgets to put my sauce in the bag. I came here yesterday with my sister after watching Fast and Furious 7 (which was just perfect!) and decided to grab a bite before hopping on the 30 on our way back home. We ordered 2 Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwiches and 2 small orders of curly fries. Their curly fries are to die for! The chicken in the sandwiches was soft and tender. However, the bacon in the sandwiches were as hard as rock. I felt like I was swallowing a plastic spoon or something. The place was pretty packed, as well. So, I made my order to go. I ordered the new market fresh chicken sandwich which was delicious. I chose the wheat bread and it was thick cut and tasted home made. Oh, Arby's. So many fond memories we had when I was back in high school as a starving kid that was waiting for practice. Arby's is PACKED after school (usually between 2 - 5PM) to the point where some people would use the top of the garbage bin or whatever flat surface they could find that wasn't the floor/other people's tables to put their trays on to eat. Most of their food is pretty mediocre, because.... well, it's fast food. Sandwiches are kinda expensive, burgers aren't that great. I love their curly fries though. Especially with Arby's sauce. I live right around arbys and I come here to eat at least once a week. The food is cheap and good. Obviously not the best food in the world because it is so affordable, but it is healthier than any fast food spot out there. They took the onion petals away which was the best thing on the menu. oh yeah arbys give out tons of coupons some of which give away two large filling sandwiches for the price of one (5-6 bucks). Overall a good spot for quick food. read more
