Everything was average from the service to the food. We went through the drive thru & the order taker didn't sound happy. She just sounded like she wanted to go home & that we were bothering her. We ordered a few roast beef sandwiches. The food was not hot or cold. It was more like room temperature. We had to warm them up when we got to our hotel. Overall, it wasn't the worse experience. It just wasn't the best. I won't say we won't be back. I will just say that their customer service & food needs work.

I have no beef with Arby's! As far as fast food goes, Arby's is one of the better choices IMO. The menu is varied, roast beef, rotisserie chicken, sandwiches, salads... they have what you're craving! Typically, I go for the herb chicken snack pack which comes with a zucchini muffin that will melt in your mouth! Delish! Then my sides, steamed broccoli and creamy mashed potatoes! A meal that's like one you'd cook at home! The other sides are great choices as well, crisp corn, mac n' cheese, baked potatoes (regular or sweet) lima beans, spinach, fried apples and more. If I'm feeling in the mood for something fried, I go with the lightly spiced curly fries. I've gotta have the Classic Roast Beef to go with them and they taste way better than the fast food burger chain meals! I've also ordered the Reuben sandwich which was top notch, but get the sauce on the side to avoid it getting too soggy. The Martha's Vineyard salad is my fav when I'm going for a healthier choice. In season, some locations offer a hearty Brunswick stew! But when I really want to indulge, I get the Jamocha shake! So thick, rich and refreshing! Not only is the food good here, but if you choose to eat inside, it's clean and nicely appointed. Arby's has a restaurant feel rather than a fast food vibe. The drive thru is usually pretty fast too. Yes, Arby's is more costly than a lot of fast food joints, but the quality and quantity of the food make it worth the money.

As funny as it sounds, this is top notch, fast food. Everything is made better than anything McDonald's, Sonic, etc. have to offer. And they have healthy sides like sautéed spinach, broccoli, and FRESH salad. They have a pretty diverse menu and some of the sandwiches are huge! Definitely over a half pound. With that said, Arby's is definitely a little pricier. But for the most part, you get what you pay for. Lastly, I like that they always have new creative limited time sandwiches. Staff is always very friendly and they've never gave me an incorrect order.

I would like to say that I've lived down the road from this place for 7 years and I have slept on…read morethis place hard and if you're reading this, you probably have too. I asked the owners how long they've been here (assuming it was only a few years). This unassuming store has been here for 25 years. I went here on a whim and let me tell you, I will be a frequent customer. This is a hidden gem of a grocery store. Some of the things that caught my eye were: * Imported European butter (high quality butter). * Tons of imported, cured meats * Perogies, meat dumplings, mashed potato dumplings, etc. * A fantastic selection of tasty mustards * Pickled & fermented items such as sauerkraut, pickled vegetables, pepper spreads * A wide variety of tasty jams * Fresh farmer cheeses * Imported Cheeses * Homemade desserts * Homemade, old world, artisan bread * Much more Another person left a comment exclaiming that items here are pricey. I want to share my thoughts and why I think it's 5 stars and not pricey. So, first, I love the salami here. I bought a few kind of Salami but the German Salami is very nice. Now that being said, as of today it's like $20/lb. But, few important things to note. 1) it's Imported from Europe. 2) The richness & complexity of flavor is so much better than your $7.99/lb grocery store chain salami. The flavors are complex and wonderful. It's truly something where you keep wanting more. This is ideal for a charcuterie board or something where you want people to really notice the bold flavors. It is worth the price. Secondly, their homemade desserts are out of this world. I guarantee you that you have had few desserts that are this good. They are unlike the processed junk we get even at nice grocery store bakeries. One bite and you're in heaven. So much so we went back immediately the next day to get more. Third, they are making their own variety of bread loaves. I wish I had gotten a picture but they are as beautiful as they are delicious. This isn't old world bread. Artisan bread. You aren't getting this elsewhere. Overall, the quality of everything is just very good. It's a taste of eastern Europe. It's a treat and a delight. You should do in and try it. You won't be disappointed. Sure, many of the products may be unfamiliar or even written in a language you might not understand. But the staff is friendly and we're glad to answer my questions. As I am sure they will be glad to answer yours. And, honestly, go in and ask them what they recommend. Try thier favorite foods and favorite desserts. I tried their black currant dressert (black currants are not widely available in the US but are delightful) and I never would have if I didn't ask for a recommendation. At minimum, go in and get 1/4lb of cured meats, some dessert, some bread, and why not some mashed potato dumplings (perogies)... You won't be disappointed.

He strongly pushes online ordering (there's even a sign saying it's preferred), yet the third-party ordering website frequently freezes or fails to accept orders. In the past, I've been yelled at for trying to order in person and told it would take 45 minutes. This time, I ordered online as instructed and arrived at the pickup time, only to be ignored for about 10 minutes despite standing right in front of him. When he finally acknowledged me, he couldn't find part of the order, then angrily threw the food on the counter and demanded payment--even though I had already paid online. He refused to accept an email receipt and said he doesn't give receipts at all. So I paid twice. On top of that, the online prices were nearly double the in-store prices, with no clear explanation when I inquired. Great food does not excuse terrible customer service. The experience is stressful, unpleasant, and unprofessional.

I normally love coming here, which is exactly why I am so angry and disappointed writing this…read morereview. I had been telling my Dad for a while about how fun this place is, how nice everyone usually is, and how much I thought he would enjoy it. We were finally able to come together today, and he was genuinely excited to see the inside and have breakfast here for the first time. As expected, we were told the wait would be about 45-50 minutes. Fine. The place was busy, as it usually is, and we had absolutely no problem waiting. I spent years working as a server and hostess. I understand busy restaurants, long waits, and tables that don't turn as quickly as expected. After waiting about 40 minutes, I went to the host stand to simply ask for an update. We had watched people leave and groups continue to be seated during our wait, so I wanted to see where we stood. The young man at the host stand told me it would be ANOTHER 40-50 minutes. I genuinely thought he had confused our name with someone else's, so I explained that we had already been waiting for 40 minutes. He told me our names were "at the bottom of the list" and that people inside were moving very slowly. No apology. No double-checking the list. No attempt to figure out how a quoted 45-50 minute wait had suddenly turned into an hour and a half. He didn't ask if we were willing to sit inside, offer another seating option, or even suggest placing a to-go order. Nothing. He was completely dismissive. So I handed him the menu and my Dad and I left. Then, just 20 MINUTES later--not the additional 40-50 minutes we had literally just been told--I received a call saying our table was ready. I tried to explain that we were no longer there and WHY we had left. The second I said we had "left," I was HUNG UP ON. Honestly, that was it for me. Before that phone call, I was actually sitting in the car telling my Dad that maybe we could try again another day. Despite being embarrassed and disappointed after talking this place up to him so much, I was still willing to chalk it up to a bad interaction with one host. Getting hung up on completely sealed the deal. I'm not angry because the restaurant was busy. I'm angry because we were treated like we didn't matter. I'm angry because we waited patiently for 40 minutes, politely asked one question, and were dismissed with inaccurate information instead of someone taking 30 seconds to double-check. I'm angry because when I tried to explain what had happened, I wasn't even given the basic courtesy of finishing a sentence before someone hung up on me. My Dad and I have lived in Lakeside for over 30 years. We weren't asking to skip the line. We weren't demanding a table. We weren't rude to anyone. We were two local customers who were excited to have breakfast together at a place I had genuinely loved and recommended to other people. We will NEVER be back. And yes, we will absolutely be telling our friends, family, and neighbors about how we were treated and recommending that they go somewhere else unless they want to risk being dismissed, given completely inaccurate wait information, and hung up on when they try to explain why they left. Apparently this place is busy enough that treating people with basic courtesy no longer matters. That's fine. There are plenty of other restaurants that will happily take our money and, at the very least, treat my Dad and me like human beings. What was supposed to be a fun breakfast with my Dad turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. I went from genuinely loving and recommending this place to never wanting to step foot inside again. Congratulations. You lost two longtime local customers in less than an hour.
