I told him I was not expecting or wanting a replacement meal, just wanted to let my voice be heard about the previous customer experience. However, he made everything right. Fantastic customer service and he deserves to be recognized by Jersey Mikes! May every employee be like Matt! The manager is the absolute worst. Incredibly rude and condescending when I asked why my order had been changed after I had ordered via app. This has happened several times before. I ordered Rosemary Parmesan bread, toasted, and was given plain white, untoasted. When I called to find out what happened, he very rudely told me they do this all the time when they run out of certain breads and I should call ahead of time if I want a certain bread. What is the point of ordering via app then? I would have had no problem with the white bread substitute but Carlos told me to get over it, it is what it is. I do not understand the rudeness at all. I do hope the owner, Derek Murph, sees this review and talks to his staff about customer service. Again, I have no problem with a substitute but Carlos was just so rude about it. I told him I did not want a refund, just wanted to know why they didn't let the customer know they didn't have what they purchased when we came in to get it. I would have asked for a different sandwich had I known white bread was my only option.
