I don't think I've ever had Arby's before, even though there were several East Bay locations around when I was growing up. Southland mall had one? Or was that a Philly Cheesesteak place haha. Anywho, Dad saw a commercial for a new sandwich, thinking it was similar to McDonalds' seasonal McRib. I checked out the Arby's website and it looked more like boneless ribs. Intriguing. Last time I checked, they didn't have DashPass but luckily, they do now so I got delivery. I had no idea they offered gyros! Traditional lamb-beef, beef, and chicken options. I got the original and was surprised by how oily the wrapper was. Looks like the meat had lots of oil residue ... it still tasted pretty good with creamy tzatziki sauce, lettuce & tomatoes, omitted onions. Where's the beef? Beef n Swiss sliders are larger than expected! 2 of these are enough for lunch, just add curly fries. Thin sliced roast beef and it's not too salty either. The regular sized sandwiches come with cheddar, but you can pile on the beef! Who here can take on a half pounder?? Wanna dunk your roast beef in some warmth? "The Food": I ordered a #10, which is a " Roast Turkey Ranch & Bacon " sandwich that is filled with roast turkey, peppercorn ranch sauce, thick-cut pepper bacon, tomato, red onion, lettuce, cheddar cheese, and is sandwiched between...

combo came with curly fries and a regular sized drink. "The Customer Service": I walked in at 5:37pm and I was greeted by the two women working at the register. The women allowed me to gaze over the menu without giving me a "hurry up" attitude that I've seen at other restaurants. Additionally, as I was leaving, they both said, "thank you for coming." "The Restaurant": Multiple people have left reviews saying this location is either dirty, dark, and overall outdated; I disagree. I have eaten at this location about 5-6 times over the past 7 years and, while the decor hasn't changed much, the overall theme and color fit the Arby's model just fine. The inside of the restaurant has always been clean and the furniture is always kept nice and neat. "The Rating": Why did I rate it 5 stars? Well, it's pretty much a sandwich shop and I rated it as such. When I receive good food, good customer service, and feel comfortable while I'm eating inside of the restaurant, I will give any restaurant 5 stars. Overall, I do recommend this Arby's location and I will eat here again at some point.

Fun fact: My husband first job was working at Arby's. He first worked at the Southland Mall location and then at the San Leaandro location. It was owned by the same lady, Mindy. We were just bf/gf when he worked there so I had my share of the Jamocha shake, curly fries and roast beef sandwiches back in our day. I'm sure it's been over 30 years since I've had Arby's but my husband drives all the way to Sunnyvale to get his nostalgia on. So on this one Saturday afternoon, we were in the area and decided to try this Arby's as it's the one and only one we have here in the area. I got my husband to finally try something else as he always orders the same roast beef sandwiches whenever he goes here on his own.

As a little tiny move from his old favorite, he got the roast beef gyro while I got the Greek Gyro. Son ordered a huge double cheeseburger. We also got 2 large crinkle fries. The food came fast and hot. We ate in the dining room. We...

saw a lot of people going in and out with many taking their meal to go but this place was busy! We enjoyed our meal a lot. We would probably be regulars if this place wasn't so far from us and we didn't have to pay a toll (Dumbarton Bridge) to come through. I recommend you install their app as there are awesome offers on there. FYI, the restroom is outside, like a gas station style, where you have to get a key to use it.

We're fortunate to have the one and only Arby's in Northern California here in Sunnyvale. A friend raved about their French Dip sandwich with paper-thin slices of beef. They were right, Arby's makes a very good sandwich on a soft roll accompanied by a generous amount of au jus to dip it in. They get high marks from me for their bread-to-sandwich contents ratio: there is much more beef than there is bread, or roll, in this case. The Curly Fries are just as good as people say, they seem to be batter-dipped and prepared in a two step process. The Orange Cream Shake is refreshing and good.

The Greek Gyro is just as good as what many Greek cafes would serve you. The sauce is tasty but be ready for it to escape from the wrappers. https://www.arbys.com/menu/market-fresh/greek-gyro/ Crinkle cut fries are crisp and good....

Prices are fair, food was ready in a decent amount of time, the restaurant is clean, there is plenty of parking as well as a drive through. This location is a favorite of the community - I saw people bringing their loved ones there for get togethers, special occasions, and a super cross section of people, though it didn't feel crowded. The only detail I hope they consider upgrading is the processed Swiss Cheese they add to their French Dip. It had almost no flavor, but the meltiness adds to the optics of the sandwich. I went home and ate slices of Swiss Cheese for the next two days to remind myself what Swiss Cheese tastes like. Arby's lives up to their claim that they have the meats, and if they extend that to the cheeses, they'll be unbeatable.

I wish there were more Arbys locations throughout the bay area but they have long since been replaced by other chains like Starbucks (which was the case at my former local Arbys). You can't find a roast beef sandwich at any other fast food restaurant - nor could you find an apple turnover or curly fries that arent greasy. Guess I'll have to make my way to Sunnyvale if I have another craving. I don't mind.

Almost last of the Mohican...haven't been to an Arby's in a long time so stopped in for a visit. Did a quick order online and three minutes later had food in hand. Restaurant was clean and we were happily welcomed. We had a coupon for BOGO so got a double meat and saved $8.49. It really was too much for one, but delicious with horsey sauce. The Mac n Cheese was on fire along with the orange cream shake. Potato Cakes are back if you like regurgitated spuds. All in all it's as we remembered.

I LOVE, I repeat, LOVE the Meat Mountain. I consider it to be of the upmost quality, and the Rod Wave takeover was also very fun to watch. It may be the death of many, but to me its heaven. The atmosphere was heavy with the scent of BO and Ecoli. If only 2Slimey would have sung more before projectile vomiting. I was sad the deodorant was allowed, but fortunately nobody used it.

First time trying Arby's and it was decent. Totally empty on a Friday at 9, it was clean and not unsettling to be there but a little old. Service was very quick and polite. My gyro wrap was seasoned a bit weird but veggies were fresh. Also tried the roast beef sandwich and it's very interesting, like tender japanese sukiyaki beef with no bite and a brioche bun. I would recommend trying it but I wouldn't come back.

Fun fact: This is the only Arby's located in the Bay Area. So when we found ourselves in the area, we just had to stop by. Not sure why the low ratings, but our experience here was seamless. We ordered at the counter and before we could even seat ourselves, our order was ready. My go-to has always been the curly fries and we got two of the classic roast beef sandwiches with the horsea sauce. Quick, efficient, and definitely satisfied the craving. They had hand sanitizer too, which every fast food place should have in my opinion. Definitely rang that bell afterwards!

I literally traveled all this way because of their special $2 anniversary menu and it still wasn't worth it, LOL. It's not Arby's that's the problem, it's how they cook things here. Their curly fries were hella cold. With all the foot traffic here you'd think they'd be hot! I asked them for warm fries and I think they just gave me the same fries back. Their roast beef sandwiches don't have a lot of meat and the meat was ok the cold side. The saving grace was the hot mozzarella sticks. They need to focus on quality or else they just might shut down in the future. Arby's is becoming harder and harder to find!

It's Arby's friendly efficient staff, clean operation. Classic Arby's Roast Beef Sandwiches Singkes and Doubles, Curly Fries, Crinkle Cut Fries. Nice sized portions on the meat, messed up should have ordered the orange milk shake. Some will find this place outdated it is buts it cool.

***Steakhouse Wagyu Burger Review*** So...on May 23rd, Arby's rolled out a Limited-Time Only Steakhouse Wagyu Burger claiming "it's the highest quality burger the market has seen yet." "We're taking a stance on high-quality meat that deserves to be cooked properly." "Overdone burgers are over and done." Arby's claims to have spent over 2 years of R&D to create a "juicy burger with a crispy outer edge and slightly pink center". (The patty is a blend of 48% ground beef and 52% American Wagyu that's sous-vide then deep fried.) Hmmm, sounds waaaaay too good to be true (I know "wagyu" is just a marketing buzzword). BUT, these were some of the online reviews: "A+" "10/10" "A thing of beauty" "Worth the hype" And, my FAV one: "10x tastier than In-N-Out" Straight fighting words. Damn, what are these people smokin'?! Give ya girl some! I do believe Arby's *may* serve a decent fast food "wagyu" burger at other locations but not here...and not on the day I visited. BTW, this is the last of two Bay Area Arby's locations (if you count Fairfield). There's two Wagyu Burgers: Deluxe - $7.49 burger only, $11.49 for meal, and Bacon Ranch - $7.99 burger only, $11.99 for meal. Our order was ready in less than a minute and when I looked behind the counter, I knew why. There were two lines of premade burgers chillin' under warmers. The store was completely dead at 6 pm so who knows how long those burgers been sitting there. D E L U X E W A G Y U B U R G E R ***Link to pic: https://bit.ly/3a3DdkI. The "wagyu" patty was hella dry, dense, and tough with a greyish-brown center (no pink at all). Like a freezer burnt patty that's been nuked several times in the microwave (zoom into the pic and look how dark it is). It was so overcooked and dried out, that it didn't even taste like beef at this point. I can hear the beer wasted cows crying all the way in Japan. After one bite, it ended up in the trash. The crinkle cut fries were soft and lukewarm. At least, they were edible. Overall, I didn't expect a great burger from a corporate fast food chain like Arby's but I didn't expect this hyped up burger to taste like punishment either. Even though it may have been an off day, it's a one and done for me. 1.5 stars rounded up because I didn't get the Hershey squirts.

4 stars for a fast food meal? Yep- the Wagyu beef bacon deluxe burger was a decent size, quite juicy enough to be messy but not too messy. The accoutrements: peppercorn sauce, red onion,tomato, brioche bun were much higher quality than I am used to at a fast food place. I enjoyed my sour blueberry lemonade and the curly fries were fine. Was the meal worth 15? Absolutely not! Was it double the quality and twice as satisfying as a basic meal from McDonald's Wendy's, or Burger King at $10-14 a pop? Absolutely! The guys at the drive through window were super sweet and happy at 9:45 pm and were diligent cleaning the store in preparation for closing. This gets the only location I know of, an extra star. Fast food is not worth the calories or the price you pay these days. I am very grateful that this restaurant is not located anywhere close to me, or I might be tempted more frequently. The convenience and the erstwhile value of a fast food and a drive through is what makes grabbing a meal through a window tempting. Now that value is not a factor at all, I am underwhelmed. I allow myself an In & Out double double monthly, but other than that ( save for the twice yearly order of McDonald's fries ( they had better be hot or i will refuse them )and an unsweetened iced tea ( up to $1.25 but still a value) I am a rare drive through food consumer. I would never drive 40 minutes out of my way for a meal here, but on a road trip. I would stop at Arby's over other options. read more

Every once in a while you need a hit of nostalgia for a good classic Arby's Roast Beef sandwich despite an oasis of excellent ethnic food restaurants around you. It's been a few years since I've been. We placed our order and watched four other parties trickle in, place their orders and receive them. Giving the benefit of the doubt, there is an instinctual -- better ask since it's been so long. They somehow "lost" our order. Are orders not computerized back there? It sure wasn't "busy". We received our order with an apology only to find they still forgot the potato cakes which were clearly on our receipt. How do you mess up an order? TWICE? And usually when an order takes too long even without forgetting it or getting it wrong, there is an offer to make amends with a free drink or dessert or other. No offer here what-so-ever. Regardless of the food--which has officially turned into over-processed food like product--this facility was not only sad and falling apart, it is a legitimate safety hazard with the floorboards coming up and obviously there were attempts to put it back but it looks like warped water damaged pieces that flare up causing trip hazards. Even the rugs were flipped up on the sides and both my partner and I each got caught on it KNOWING it was there. Don't come here. You'd think the establishment would have a minimal amount of baseline for the customer experience if not in ambiance than at least in safety. At least the staff wasn't rude or mean, just minimally functional. If you need fast food, go to iHop which tends to be fairly consistent at decent food for such an establishment. read more

I'm no longer an Arby's virgin! My friends wanted to go, claiming they missed eating Arby's since they moved away from the Midwest. To be honest, I have no idea why they miss Arby's... I got the Beef 'N Cheddar classic sandwich. It was a bunch of gray roast beef with some liquidy cheese on top sandwiched between an onion bun. The meat tasted thin and cheap, and the sandwich itself was really dry. There were also no veggies on top :( BUT I found out that if you order the Super (secret menu sandwich), it comes with lettuce and tomatoes! My favorite thing about this Arby's meal, and the only reason why I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because the curly fries were da bombbbb! They were super crispy and flavorful. I also don't know many restaurants that serve curly fries. I did try my friend's crinkle cut fries, and those were really dry, and it felt like the potato was really flaky. read more

This location has a drive thru, missing the classic roast beef sandwich so much and decided spontaneously to stop by. Prices have gone up very high, a simple toast beef sandwich and strawberry lemonade comes to a total of $10.02 after tax, once in a blue moon meal I guess. R.I.P. Onion Rings. I regret to inform you of the passing of Arby's onion rings. They are no longer with us. My heart is broken. My entire evening was planned. Walk the dog, go to Arby's, come home, overdose on "Married At First Sight." Is that not the perfect evening? Well it would have been, except for the demise of the onion rings. Instead I was left with crinkle fries or curly fries. I opted for crinkle fries even if most crinkle fries are squishy and limp. And a regular ol' roast beef sandwich because I am a purist. Imagine my surprise to find that the crinkle fries were pretty damn awesome. They were plump, crispy and tasty. "Almost" a worthy sub for onion rings. The roast beef sandwich was just like it always is, nummy. Shout out to the guy working the drive through window! He actually said, "Thank you for visiting Arby's, I'm very happy to serve you." And he was sincere. And friendly. And gave me enough Arbys sauce to last me 3 life times. Arby's may no longer have onion rings but they've restored my faith in humanity. read more

I came here as a throwback to my childhood, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. Not sure if it's just this location, or maybe I was a naive teenager that didn't know how to evaluate good food. But in any case, the bread was dry and the roast beef was kind of bland. Its Fast food...and arguably a great alternative to all the mega chain burger and chicken joints littered across our Nation. Personally, I adore Beef and Cheddar sandwiches and potato cakes and Jamocha shakes! Why this chain isn't thriving here in Northern and Central California...4 stores have closed out of 5 in our region...is a mystery to me. Anyway, I drive 2 hours to get Arby's...it's worth it in all its epic fast food, not that healthy for you, delicious glory! read more

They advertise like mad on TV for my location but they have closed so many near me in San Jose, & Santa Clara. They stopped cooking potato cakes, why??? They are going down hill in my opinion. What is so hard about cooking Potato Cakes? I really liked there food over the years but I wish they could just stop advertising in my area when there are no location open any further near me. I still can find one (1) in Sunnyvale but without potato cakes they Don't need my business. Close already we don't need you!! read more

I love Arby's. Unfortunately it's a 45 minute drive so I don't go as often as I would like. They closed the one in South San Francisco which MANY of us miss and was so much closer to me. read more

I got the MEATS! Beef n Cheddar and a Buffalo Slider, and some curly fries. Yeah baby! The two Arby's nearest where I work have closed: boo, hiss. But this one is still open: Yaay! Don't come here as often as I like, but that just makes me miss it more when I finally do get back. Good lunch! read more

My dearest Clementine, I write you this day, and it may be my last letter to you. I have not moved from this porcelain throne for quite some time, and I fear the end is upon me as my phone dwindles down its battery life. Earlier in this day, I ate at the last remaining Arby's within reasonable distance. The brisket was possibly my last mistake, though the fries were delicious as expected. Were it not the questionably undercooked brisket that did me in, it was possibly the disappointment of the staff who argued loudly at the counter my whole meal, or the cleanliness of the establishment itself. I fear the worst, as an endless stream of fluid escapes my weakened body from the rear. Please, my Clementine, avoid this Arby's at all cost, lest it be thy last mistake as well. Fare thee well. Miss the old Arby's in our neighborhood. This was on the way home from Santa Cruz. Came in before the crowd. They had our order before we walked away from the counter. Beef and cheddar classics. Soft bread, hot melty cheese. So delicious. Beef was on the salty side, no more than typical take out, tho. Good place to go for the meats. Ding, ding! read more

I can't believe there's still an Arby's open that's within less than an hour from me. Drove here from the City, and ended up ordering via drive through. My order was relatively big considering it was feeding more than one person. Though they took longer than expected at the drive through, they made up for it in extra complimentary items that my wife wanted to order originally. They definitely know how to treat customers. The best part, they mentioned they weren't closing! I'm coming back for my Arby's fix in the future. read more

Oh my beloved Arby's. How art thou? From pulling out random Beef n cheddars from your pocket on a drunken night at VIP to buying 6 large ones for the long drive to Tahoe... wherefore art thou Romeo...? This particular spot always hooks it up with meat and cheese and isn't sloppily made like the old one on steven's creek did. Please see picture and don't tell me ur mouth isn't watering. The line is always inexistent when I go and the service is within minutes. It doesn't look the best but what fast food does (except Chick-fil-A)? I love Arby's and I live in Sf so I was sad when they closed the SSF location. However, I will drive all the way to Sunnyvale to nosh on some curly fries. The restaurant is clean. The staff is always very polite. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their Jamocha shakes are to die for and they don't skimp on the meat! I always buy way more than I have to and always leave with a smile on my face. read more

I always look forward to stopping in Arby's and having a very flavorful enjoyable and reasonably priced meal. Ordered a Hawaiian fish delux and a crispy fish sandwich. They messed up my order and gave me two crispy fish sandwiches! If I had know, I would have just got the two crispy fish sandwiches for 6.99 instead of getting two supposedly different ones for 12$. What a waste. Taste wise, it was meh. Note to Arby's Sunnyvale Management: Either your employees are closing the restaurant early without your knowledge, or they're closing the restaurant early WITH your knowledge. Either way, they're robbing you of revenue and driving your customers elsewhere. I did a search of Yelp reviews before writing mine, as I thought "Maybe this is the first time this has happened" -- turns out several others have arrived at the restaurant during operating hours only to be turned away or to find the restaurant completely closed. Congratulations, you've found a quick and easy way to lose customers. Since this location is apparently corporate-owned (as opposed to being a franchisee), the big bosses in Atlanta might want to know of your "super-efficient customer-losing" discovery. I will be sharing this review with them. Saturday, 29 August 2020, 7:57pm -- Called this Arby's location to confirm their closing time. Woman who answered the phone confirmed the restaurant would be closing at 10pm. Satureday, 29 August 2020, 9:40pm -- Pulled up to Arby's, noted that there were NO vehicles in or around the Arby's parking lot and the restaurant looked dark. Drove through the drive-through lane, menu board was dark. Pulled up to service window, it was clear that the kitchen area and the entire restaurant were empty. They weren't, "We've broken down the shake machine and turned off the burners" closed, they were "We've already left the building, why don't you go find food somewhere else?" closed. Fortunately, Chick-fil-A was just down the street, was still open and was happy to take my money. I wasn't familiar with their menu, so I opted for. "regular" and a "spicy" chicken sandwich and a side order of mac & cheese. Thumb's up on everything I ordered. Given that Arby's apparently doesn't need my business, it's good to know there are conveniently-located alternatives. read more

Food is good as always. One star due to not following safety protocol during this pandemic COVID 19. She was wearing the mask with nose out while pickup orders from the hot tray and taking orders. I think I'm not sure but she is the manager on this store. Arby's this is my receipt maybe you can back track in your internal cameras and take actions. Your customer are doing there part to be safe and I think you should do the same to keep us safe as well. Not into fast food to much, but due to some work issues, having to do it way more than I would like these days. Food was picked up by wife on the way to the worksite. The Greek Gyro was great. They truly have the meats. The price $30 for two people for a togo order, so more than I would expect. It was through the drive through for pickup. She said they were quick, courteous and we actually got our entire order. No reason to take away any stars, except maybe the anticipated price for a fast food kinda place. So they get a solid 4. The interaction felt dismissive, and overall I just didn't feel comfortable or welcomed. I decided not to order and asked to speak with a manager to share my experience, but there was no real response or effort to address the situation. No apology, no attempt to make things right. It's disappointing, especially after making the drive out. I hope they work on improving their customer service.

The service was on point. I don't know if it was just our server, Walter but our food and drinks came out right away which is never the case for big events. Speaking of Walter apparently he has been there for a very long time and very knowledgeable on food choices, and drinks. Besides being extremely funny Walter is kind, respectful, and genuine despite being busy=We love that! Again, a pleasant experience versus being around rude , stressed servers. It seems as though the management here is doing a good job, scheduling servers, bartenders, kitchen staff. And did I talk about the food?? we had the brewhouse burger, which was cooked to perfection and super juicy. The wings were fire as well as the pretzel and wings. Elevated eats for game day food is always a plus in my book. I will definitely be back! Gracias Walter!

An Arby's Odyssey: A Roast Beef Lover's Pilgrimage My husband, a die-hard Arby's enthusiast, recently embarked on a culinary quest that would have made any fast-food aficionado proud. With the disappearance of Arby's from the San Francisco landscape, he was forced to venture beyond city limits in search of his beloved roast beef sandwiches. The destination? The Arby's in Sunnyvale, CA, a mere 35.7 miles and 44 minutes away from his starting point in San Francisco. While the distance may seem daunting to some, it was a small price to pay for a taste of Arby's glory. Upon arriving at the Sunnyvale Arby's, my husband wasted no time in ordering his go-to meal: a roast beef sandwich with horsey sauce. As he took his first bite, a wave of nostalgia washed over him. The thinly sliced roast beef, tender and flavorful, was the perfect canvas for the tangy, creamy horsey sauce. It was a match made in fast-food heaven. But the culinary experience didn't stop there. Arby's curly fries, those crispy, golden-brown delights, were the perfect accompaniment to the sandwich. With each bite, my husband was transported back to a simpler time, a time when Arby's was a staple in the San Francisco food scene. Love Arbys, Love it! A roast beef sandwich with lots of Arbys sauce and a little Horsey sauce is a favorite of mine when ever I'm in this part of town. The food is always consistently good and the curly Fri's are good too. The bath rooms are outside and yes they are old and gross hence why I like to use the drive thru at this Arbys and enjoy my roast beef and curly Fri's at home or back at the office. read more

Believe it or not but this Arby's is a good place to pick up that roast beef sandwich. I came here for dinner and it still has that great Arby's taste and flavor. The sandwhich meat was moist and seasoned just right. read more

I love Arby's, BUT how is this one still in business? The facility has not seen a cleaning in many YEARS. The place is falling apart. Located in one of the wealthiest cities in America this store is a dump. read more
