If you like to play the games of caffeine then this is a coffee lovers dream. Dine in service and a chill playlist? Now that's what I mean. After having their coffee I was lit like a bullet and in charge like Steve McQueen. Located inside the downtown area this is one of those gems you can't afford to pass up if you're on a coffee hunt. I ordered an espresso shot to start off with and it definitely got me a little lit. My second drink was the cortado and it was a hit. My third drink was their Draft Latte and half way through I had to quit. I took the rest home because I was in the zone and who knew where I would roam. Overall I have to admit that their coffee is legit. The service is really good and the atmosphere is chili and eye pleasing. This is one of those shops you can actually loose yourself and time and that is totally fine. And that's my take on it, Peace.

I've been here several times in the past and stopped in for a quick bite and some coffee. I had the egg scramble with bacon and potatoes. My son killed the potatoes, but I enjoyed my cup of coffee with eggs and bacon. I had their salsa, which was surprisingly flavorful at a coffee spot. Service was quick and polite. The decor in this place is modern vintage. Calm lighting with plants tucked away here and there. Love the vibe.

Arcade has some of the best coffee in Riverside! It's the cafe I usually recommend to people who visit. The only downside is that they close early as a lot of cafes do, which is unfortunate because I craved their coffee during a lot of late nights studying. Their coffee roast is on the darker side and has a nice flavor for their lattes. I love trying whatever their seasonal latte/syrup is! I also have been liking their matcha lately. I remember I tried it a couple years ago and that was not the case but their quality has definitely gone up. Will definitely be back soon!

10/10 jury duty detour. Imagine landing jury duty...and somehow scoring the PERFECT parking spot. Now imagine being excused after 30 minutes for THREE WHOLE HOURS...on a rainy day. There was absolutely no way I was giving up that parking spot...that's how I found myself walking to Arcade Downtown. Let me start here: I got aggressively caffeinated. Also had one of the best breakfast sandwiches-so good I ate before I taking a picture. Service was solid. This spot is perfect for sitting, thinking, reading and processing the fact civic duty comes around once a year. Thank goodness Arcade Downtown is a quick stroll away. I was hyped by the time I got back to the courtroom that I was almost disappointed they dismissed us same day. Low-key, I was looking forward to reclaiming that corner seat by the food counter. Great coffee/food/service. I'll def be back on non-civic-duty days.

What a lovely coffee shop! The line was out the door and place was bustling with business. L We were greeted by the hostess, who asked if we'd like to dine in. There was also a separate line for coffee to go orders. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated. We ordered a Honey cinnamon latte and a draft latte. The draft latte was the right amount of sweetness. The honey cinnamon latte was also just right. Our food came out: we had ordered the huevos rancheros, the French toast, and the Yukon potato wedges. The huevos rancheros had a decent amount of food with a sunny side egg on top. The French toast was unique: it was made with persimmon butter, topped with matcha rice crisps. After our meal, the server let us move to the bar area so we can do some computer work. They didn't allow us to sit in the dining area to just work. We sat there until closing. It was a bit noisy but closer to closing, it was as quiet. There were outlets for our computers and free WiFi upon asking. Overall, it was a nice, social coffee bar with minimalistic decor. The coffee was good and the food was wonderful. The servers were bubbly and friendly. Absolutely a recommendation from us!

Went in today and had a late breakfast and coffee. The ago hummus was great and the steak & eggs were delicious but my steak was a little undercooked from what I had asked but delicious regardless. Coffee was average nothing crazy but still good. 4/5 stars because the cleanliness of tables. Staff collects dishes but doesn't wipe tables. Service was alright again, nothing that stood out. Had asked for salt and pepper but never received but it wasn't an issue because the food was tasty. I like this location the most because of the space and quietness compared to other locations.

Super great coffee shop on the neat downtown Riverside Main St. walking mall. Where some coffee shops are lacking in proper food offerings, Arcade is NOT one of them! They have several freshly made from scratch kitchen dishes that are WAY above the standard fare. My half-sweet iced mocha with almond milk (yeah sorry, I'm THAT guy :-/ ) was perfection, featuring a super smooth roast that I craved all day. Plus the egg & cheese sammie + bacon, and their avocado toast were both extra-ordinarily interesting & delicious. Even as I write this review early in the morning, I can't wait to pop in again on the last day of my trip here from Colorado to see what brekkie I'll order today!

I had heard about arcade coffee for a while now but i didn't know they had a location downtown. I stopped by Arcade because i happened to be near by. This location is pretty clean and new. It has a wooden modern look and has plenty of seating inside as well as some tables outside. It seems like it gets busy because it's in the heart of downtown Riverside but luckily service was really quick when i went. I ordered a caramel iced latte and i will say i was sweeter than i expected which was a pleasant surprise. But overall i have had better coffee. Arcade wouldn't be my first choice for coffee but maybe I'd return to give their food items a try.

My husband and I enjoy coming here for brunch during the weekends. Can get busy. Make sure to put down your name with the host, and grab a drink while you wait so you can sip on it. Such a nice ambiant place in downtown Riverside. Parking structure available on 9th street. One day I had this huge craving for a patty melt and Arcade Roasters satisfied it by 100%+. Came back again within a week to order the same thing haha Love that their food is always so fresh and so flavorful. Super friendly servers. Always with a smile. It's kind of contagious!

Arcade Downtown... you did something fun for me. You gave me a new experience with food and flavors. Arcade has a way with food that gives you DEPTH to their food and the love that goes into cooking. Location is in the riverside downtown walkway, it's a beautiful little walk and we usually go to just pick up fresh ingredients from the farmers market but we went to enjoy Arcade today too. There is plenty of bar top seating and some table seating as well. It's very open and the natural window lighting complements the vibes. The service... today we had AJ as our host, Aj wait I want to thank you for who you are. You care about what you do and how you do it and I don't think people thank good hosts often enough, or even those who still show up despite how chaotic life is. I appreciate you. Evan also came out and helped with our coffees and letting us know one of the ones we wanted was out. However Evan was amazing as suggesting a coffee that would complement the "coffee with a bite" I was looking for with a winter mint cappuccino... and you nailed it sir. All in all there was not one person working here that was not working and supporting one another. Cooking and serving in a kitchen is hard ... catering to people is hard and I just want to complement you on at least how I saw it and felt it in your restaurant. THE FOOD... I don't do this often but let's go dish by dish. The avocado toast: your take on it had some Asian influences, with pickled daikon and crunchy chili were pretty delicious with that coconut avocado that almost came off liked whipped crema with some lime in it... that was just something else and it all worked. The French toast with its crisp, crunch and soft cloud textures was perfect. I would have never thought to add some roasted corn... it fits wonderfully on the dish and that plantain crumb... what are you doing to me haha. The chorizo con papas... I love that you did the link and it was not dry, it needed some heat but it was delicious. The potatoes gratine are also very smart... they hold well, you can cook them in batches and they hold flavor a crisp well. Huevos Rancheros... now that heat I was mentioning in the chorizo con papas was present with this one, not to much but just enough to tickle and I was there for it !! I love the little tostadas at the bottom, usually you get soggy ones and they were perfect. I could actually eat it like a tostada and share it with my family so that added. The flavor of the chorizo was delicious, over easy egg and the pickled onions !!! Yesssirrrr . I actually just ate the pickled onion on its own just to taste the individual flavors of each component and I have yet to get that kind of flavor out of mine. Lastly... Tasajo Steak... now I enjoy cooking steak, I've eaten some really good ones. This was something new for me... the depth of flavor through that mid rare steak was de friggin licious !!! And with the potatoes and cheese sauce it all comes together. But that steak had me slowing down to eat because it was that good. I can cook a good skirt steak... but maybe it was the espresso marinade that tenderized the meat to that depth but you nailed it!!! Now imma try to make one at home just for fun lol. We had asked about a dinner menus and it looks like you don't do dinner anymore. My wife left her info so call us if ya do and we will come running. If anything do a pop up dinner night, have a set of reservations, try out some new recipes and make a little Event out of it. You can set up how many tables you can serve and set a budget to cover them And see if you can get a good return on it all. Theme it and have fun with it. Me and my Wife love to cook, MY wife and mother in law came here and my wife told me she felt like she was foodie cheating on me because part of our love language is trying restaurants that bring a refreshing twist to their food and you did it ... with every plate you served us... you did it and it was an amazing experience. We will be back.. imma have to bring my mom now because I know she will enjoy the food here too. Also ... I think Yelp should do a sixth star for those gems you find for moments like this.

Downtown Riverside is so cute and Arcade Downtown is the best coffee spot! I could tell that Arcade would be a hit just from the line. When I arrived around 11am, there was a long line forming but they moved through it quickly. It's clear this spot is a favorite. To start, the aesthetic is great. They've got a spacious seating area. There were people studying, some chatting, families enjoying lunch and a few college kids playing chess. The ambiance was versatile and conducive to the needs of everyone coming in. I also loved the variety of seating options available and that there were bathrooms. Service was also excellent. They were quick and moved fast to get folks in. I ordered off their holiday seasonal menu. I had a delicious sugar cookie latte made decaf. It was tasty! By mid morning they were already starting to run low on baked goods but I did snag the las blueberry cardamom scone. It was perfect! I enjoyed my treats while getting some work done. Awesome spot!

I always wanted to have a sit down meal and this beautiful place, and I finally got to have sunday brunch with the girls. Our server was very attentive and patient while we slowly perused the menu and decided. She even brought out samples of the draft latte to try. For drinks we all got lattes, except one friend who originally got a chai and after not liking it, the waitress offered to replace it. I thought that was super kind. The iced lattes were good but a little watery from the ice. I'm sure theres a way to avoid that. For food, I got the yogurt bowl. I thought it was delicious and very filling. Huevos were beasted as well. The avocado toast sounded good but was not fully enjoyed due to a bunch of contrasting flavors. I had a bite and it was really bitter from the radish.

Second time dining at Arcade Downtown and noticed that they redid their menu a bit. We noticed that they are trending toward a more casual menu with a lower price point. Overall I like the new menu! Got the Chorizo Con Papas and their Banh Mi and I really liked them both. Though they aren't the traditional variations of the dish, they were made really well. The Chorizo and potatoes were delicious and came with a savory sauce, while the meat on the Banh Mi was crispy and delicious. All of the food was fresh! Also had their winter toasted marshmallow coffee which was awesome as well. Parking was easy to find in the parking structure close by and is free on the weekends. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table after checking in but service was friendly throughout our time here. A great brunch option in Downtown Riverside!

5/5 for coffee, 3/5 for food. Still rating 5 stars because the coffee is among the top 3 cafes for about a 30 mile radius. Truly excellent beans and well prepared, very consistent. I wish there were more elevated latte options--for this aesthetic/style of coffee shop, I want more than just different syrups, at least occasionally--but what they do, they do very well. I have not sat down here for full brunch, which people seem to speak highly of. My experience getting food to go has been less positive. I have filed their food offerings under "Instagram" i.e. looks fancy, tastes meh. They were doing an avocado toast with sunflower macha (the salsa, not the green tea) for a while; the macha completely overpowered the dish with its dark bitterness, and there was way too much oil. Today I was super excited to try the smoked salmon bagel; it was literally inedible due to oversalting. I had to take it back. Love the coffee, love the service. IMO food needs work and more focus on balancing flavors instead of just being pretty/fancy-looking. But maybe I've just had bad luck, since everyone else seems to rave about it? Hmm... further research may be needed ;) read more

This place is a hidden gem in Downtown Riverside. Slightly off the main streets, this cafe has a weekend brunch that is so delicious. The staff was very friendly and had great suggestions of what to order. When we came in, the store wasn't packed and we were seated promptly. We got seated in a nice corner seat right next to the kitchen and across from the coffee bar. The seating is very open and airy. As we ate, we noticed people being seated for brunch, for coffee, and taking items to go. I will definitely be back!!! read more

We had the pleasure of discovery this incredible gem in downtown Riverside after a fun evening at the Mission Inn. The food here was exactly the type of healthy decadent food we yearn for, yet hard to fine. We live in Carlsbad and would absolutely love a duplicate of this restaurant. We were there for a late breakfast, highly recommend the Matcha Pistachio Yogurt with the black sesame granola, the Horchata French toast was by far the best French Toast I have every had, we were a group of 3 adults and 2 children, so we also had sunny side up eggs, along with scramble eggs, ( Dark Yellow, beautiful) and the the home potatoes were equally perfect. I won't be making a trip to the Mts in the future without stopping here on our way. The staff was nice the food was prepared quickly and the prices were very fair. I think they should have a BIG TIP jar for customers to pay extra gratitude for doing it right! read more

Place had great service and was kind enough to put our meals in to go plates since I had my nephew with me. Plenty of outdoor seating and the weather was nice so we decided to eat outside. Now let's get on to the food! We went with the fine fine fine cocktail, aperol spritz, and iced draft latte. Both cocktails were refreshing, but nothing special. Draft latte had just the right amount of sweetness to it. The regular drip coffee however was very weak, and as us Brazilians like to say agua de batata lol The cornbread & crab Benedict was not my favorite. The cornbread itself was flavorless and left me wanting more crab as I could just detect traces of it. The shrimp & grits was a little better. The grits had the right consistency, shrimp was cooked to perfection but I feel like it needed a bit more spice and flavor for the sauce. I believe they need a bit more work on these elements, but overall great space and service. read more

I came on a Saturday morning for brunch. I made a reservation a couple days before and was so glad I did as it does get really busy. Coffees came out very quick and food didn't take long either. Everything was nice and fresh. The orange maple French toast was so flavorful! And I loved their version of avocado toast and the story behind it. All of the staff was so kind and welcoming. I am an eggs benedict fanatic - it will always be the thing I order at brunch. This was something new for me and it was fantastic. The cornbread gave it a nice texture and was really tasty. The hollandaise was on point and the crab ratio was spot on - you could taste it but it wasn't overpowering. read more

Great prices for really fun and flavorful food. The drinks are ok but what I really appreciated was that a lot of the menu options are cool and experimental. I really enjoyed how colorful and beautiful the presentation of the dishes were as well! Portions are not very big so I recommend everyone gets their own dish. read more

To preface, today was my first time trying this place after working right next door for over a year. I tried to come here for lunch once before but the thing I wanted was unavailable (can't remember what it was) and I just never really came back. After today I WILL BE BACK... The jalapeno cheddar scone is insanely good, like the best I've ever had. Its literally so good and perfect warmed and its not the kind that makes you super thirsty. I'm so mad I've never came to order one until now. Matcha latte is also perfect. Overall, GET THE SCONE! read more

I think arcade is actually my favorite cafe in socal. I think it's only going to get better too. This location is much prettier than the others and has some outlets too. Good roasting and trained staff. Their coffee is the best. I'm excited for what's to come for arcade. Update: they gave me leftover drip at closing and it was so good and they're so nice to do so. Airy and bright! I frequent the area often and was so excited to try this place out. They have lots of tables to work/study on and nice music play of indie/alternative genre. During my time there, I used my "Shazaam" app (just when I was considering to delete the app...) to add some music to my playlist. Haha. I got their iced latte with oat milk and seasonal syrup, which at the time is the dolce...something syrup (????), I forget the name but the barista described it as a white chocolate. Their draft latte was recommended and I appreciate how they offer you a little sample if you're interested to give it a try. We ended up ordering it and it's really good with a hint of sweetness, which is the agave doing it's thing. If you do decide to order a brewed iced tea, just note it takes a few because they steep the tea for a moment to extract the flavor and aroma compounds as much as they can. I got the yuzu peach... refreshing! We also ordered their spring onion scone because it sounded unique and ended up being a nice savory and herby treat we enjoyed!! The cashier/drink making area is close proximity to the front door, so a line forms very easily. Also, currently they do not have a signed/posted menu, only a laminated sheet laid on the counter top where you order. I got a bit of order anxiety because I had no idea what we were going to order and didn't want to hold up the line. You can opt to looking at their menu online. Notes: Metered parking is free downtown on weekends. read more

While visiting The Cheech we found a place for brunch and The Arcade seemed to be the ticket. The only thing that threw me off was we had to order & pay for the meals while we were still outside?!. I am so happy with this new opening in downtown riverside, this spot is golden-- from the staff to the design layout. The French toast was so delicious and filling and the poached eggs were amazing. Every time I come here the workers are always so friendly and inviting! must try if you want to grab brunch, do some work, this place is relaxing. The coffee is always great!! read more

Great coffee, great vibes! I really appreciate the unique flavors they have on hand to elevate anything on their menu - worth a try! I tried a latte with agave cardamom flavor and I was not disappointed. Loved the spicy, earthiness of the cardamom. Reminded me of an espresso version of an Indian Chai. It was a little on the sweeter side, but not insanely sugary either. Their pastry options from the Bakehouse look so enticing! Will come back to try them soon someday! The staff were all very friendly. I came in at around 9 am and the noise level was pretty decent for working. However, with more people coming in, particularly families with kids, it got a louder. Phenomenal brunch and can't speak enough about their coffee and matcha as well. I'm very picky on my coffee and I love this place. Super fluffy french toast and not too "eggy". The fresh fruit and the maple butter in the yougurt was great and you could tell it was fresh made. Very decent prices for the quality and taste of the food. Quick service and very helpful staff. Love the vibe here! Came here for a quick breakfast and coffee. I got the prosciutto & burrata tartine and a vanilla latte and so delicious. There was plenty of space to sit and even do some work however, I don't think this would be a great place to study. I parked at a nearby free parking garage (free for the 2 two hours) and walked less than 5 minutes. Everyone was so kind! I would love to come back again and enjoy other items on their menu. read more

I go to this Cafe about once a week for French Toast, eggs, and a mocha or orange juice... As a french toast connoisseur, I can say without reservation that these are the best French Toast in town, if not the entire inland empire! I would be remiss if I failed to mention that the eggs are outstanding, with just the perfect salt and seasoning! However, the real reason for this review is the phenomenal New York steak and wine that I had last night! I'm in love! Very likely the best steak I've had in my entire life, the sauce was brilliant, and the wine took me right over the edge! This is not a dish that you can just read about, you must go to the Arcade in downtown Riverside, and enjoy it for yourself! My five star reviews are rare, so that should tell you something... This place is a true Riverside gem. The food, the vibes, and most importantly the SERVICE was outstanding. We called early on Mothers Day to see if they had any tables, the gal I spoke to was amazing. They were able to accommodate us on short notice. The food was sooooo amazing. We had the steak & eggs, the eggs benny, and the asparagus quiche accompanied by a couple of killer espresso martinis. We throughly enjoyed our visit here. It was the perfect brunch. read more

I went to school in Riverside back in the day and I wish this was around. Came today early in the am; wasn't packed and staff is beyond friendly. I ordered the avocado toast which was delicious. Not pictured were the steak and eggs, waffle and French toast. Coffee is delicious as always. The ambiance is awesome very laid back and chill. I'm all for trendy whatever but c'mon...Ya'lls avocado toast? C'mon man. Instead of bread on the side, at this point just give me tortilla. Seriously. Avocado toast is already such a millennial thing to eat, nah you gotta separate the avocado from the toast to go the extra weird mile? That's like if ordered a pb&j sandwhich and you gave me a plate with a slice of bread and another plate with half pb and the other half jelly spread all up on it...just for me to eat it like that. Just...stop it...‍ I'd even say just remove it from the menu. It's been 8 months since I had this embarrassing meal and I come and see you guys are still being made fun of for it through reviews and pictures. lolol read more

Came to get a quad cap with oat milk to celebrate Ronnie. Had the arcburger. Loaded with flavor and the potatoes were a nice compliment because they weren't fried. Daughter had the avocado toast. She liked it but says it tasted better when Ronnie made it. I definitely will be back for the burger! Had lunch here on Fri., 08/04/23 at 1300. Ambiance: The restaurant has a modern yet cozy feel to it. Everything looked very clean and the tabletops didn't look aged nor battered. It's essentially a coffee house with a great menu. Staff: As you walk in you are instantly met by the order counter and, in our experience, the warmest person with a contagious smile. She helped us navigate the menu and was always friendly (THANK YOU). Food: We ordered a veggie sandwich and steak & eggs. The veggie sandwich was large, toasted on what looked like artisan bread and SOOO DELICIOUS. The best thing about this location is their food. Steak and eggs is a must, so is their crab Benedict. I can tell that the chefs put in a lot of thoughts into pairing the flavors. The roast beef sandwich was a real disappointment. The meat was very fatty and had a lot of hard gristle. I pretty much had to take the sandwich apart and pull off the objectionable bits which were about 1/5 of the total weight of the meat. The meat flavor was bland and really needed all of the sauces. The bun was kind of smashed and gummy but held together. Sorry to say, but for me, Lucky Greek just isn't worth going to anymore.

Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. A lot of coffee shops are so brightly lit and trying to be hipster still in 2026, but this place is just kind of homey and the classic cozy coffee shop we all want to go to. So if you're a hardcore coffee connoisseur and are looking for the highest quality coffee, this might not be your spot. It comes with grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato, all on a toasted sourdough bread covered with pesto and cheese. For the side I typically get the Italian pasta salad, which is always delicious. One thing about this sandwhich is that the chicken will never cover the entire bread and it will never be distributed evenly. So you will always have one half that has less chicken and ends up being part veggie pesto sandwhich, which is still worth it. The other favorite is a turkey club sandwhich on a croissant. It's basic, but also very tasty. They also carry a variety of pastries and serve Klatch coffee (brewed coffee) if you need a sweet treat afterward.

I decided to stop by here before checking out the Festival of Lights in Downtown Riverside, and I'm surprised with the experience. I believe the drink I ordered was seasonal or limited. It was the ambrosia matcha with oat milk. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations going in, but I was pleasantly surprised. The matcha itself was decent, not too bold or standout, but what really blew me away was the cherry flavor. I never imagined cherry could pair so well with matcha, but they nailed it! The drink starts with a subtle matcha taste, followed by a refreshing hint of cherry that's light and not overpowering. It's a unique and super-refreshing combo. The interior is spacious and modern, with clean wood and white walls complemented by plants, giving it a cozy and study-friendly vibe. It's definitely a great spot to hang out or get some work done. The staff were incredibly kind, even though I came in just minutes before closing. They remained patient, friendly, and accommodating, and even let me wait a little after closing to finish preparing my drink. Their customer service was top-notch. While the food was truly delicious, the overall experience was slightly dampened by the restaurant's limitations. The space is quite small and didn't seem equipped to handle larger parties comfortably. Additionally, during our visit a week ago, we encountered a hostess with a rather unfriendly demeanor. She was making snide remarks to those waiting for tables and even requesting some to stand outside on a cold day. The vibe she created wasn't the best, but luckily our waitress was an absolute gem - incredibly friendly and attentive. Her excellent service really helped redeem the experience. read more

A very well designed cafe with the best matcha latte I've had in a while! The staff were so friendly and conversational. I like my prosciutto and burrata tartine. If you eat meat and cheese-go for it, you won't regret it! My girlfriend enjoyed her veggie sandwich as well.
