Located in downtown Riverside, this corner coffee shop offers some delicious selections of coffees and teas. They also had some pretty good breakfast options, which included our selections of Avocado Toast and the Sausage Sandwich. Both were exceptionally tasty and great. The ambiance of the place is well. It feels very spacious and cozy. They have your standard tables to sit in, but they also have a couch and the corners have cozy padding and tables if you want to hang out with a larger group of people. There's also some books for kids and adults to enjoy and all in all, the place just makes you feel relaxed and you can enjoy your coffee or treats. The service is quick and the people running the kitchen and register and very friendly. Definitely recommend Cafe Oro Dos Aztecas.

This place is so amazing! From the service, to the care in making absolutely phenomenal items. I'll be coming back! We went during their soft opening so while they're finding their stride the owner and staff made the experience great. Hope to try the food on my next visit! Loved the photos on the wall of the owner in the mountains of the farms the beans cone from. Beautiful art too.

Amazing service and the coffee is as fresh as it can get . Proof of origin ! Make sure to try it black so you can taste the notes and then go ahead and order some of their flavored lattes . Space is huge and service was fast! Needed great coffee in downtown !

Super good Cafe de Olla. Had it iced. You'll be happy you ordered it. We had the chicken pesto sandwich and egg bites with bacon and hash browns.

I was excited to try this place out due to it being a new coffee shop in downtown Riverside . The coffee shop has a very minimalist feel to it and there were a good amount of people when I arrived . When I was walked in I was greeted right away . I looked over the menu and decided on the iced caffe olla with two pumps of sugar free vanilla . I also got the sausage breakfast sandwich because my boyfriend was raving about it . The drink came out fairly quickly and as far as coffee wise . I felt the coffee tasted okay and it could have been better . It tasted a little watery to me . The breakfast sandwich took a while to come out I want to say about 10 to 15 minutes so if you are in a rush I would avoid this place . But it was worth the wait and is very deletions . But overall the experience was okay . I enjoyed the service and the breakfast sandwich but the coffee could use a bit more work .

The newest coffee shop in Riverside is officially here, and I'm glad to see Café Oro Dos Aztecas finally find a permanent home. I've seen them host booths around town before, so it's great to see them settle into their own space right across from the Riverside Convention Center. The shop has a clean, modern feel inside with plenty of space to sit and hang out. What stood out to me right away was that the cashier knew finger spelling, which made communication smooth and easy, that meant a lot. I ordered the Mazapán latte, an almond butter inspired coffee, and it was so good. Sweet, smooth, and flavorful without being overwhelming. They do have Copper Goat two stores down, so there's definitely competition nearby, but honestly, I'll be choosing this spot. Great drinks, welcoming service, and well deserved permanent location.

We just tried their cafe de olla & a Mexican mocha! 10/10 service was fast, staff was friendly, but they need to sell a corn tortilla on the side to eat with these egg bites! They also have such beautiful local art to admire! It's cozy and we will be going back!

I had no idea this cafe just opened in the beginning of February. It's new and poppin! It's located right on a corner, on Market and Fifth, next to the Marriott hotel. From the outside, it really looks upscale. Inside it was busy! I came on a Saturday afternoon. The cafe theme is Mexican culture. There were art on the walls, I'm assuming Mexican artists and photos of people in the fields. There is also a lot of botany and little sculptures. Customers were standing around waiting for their orders or seated working or chatting. There seemed to be limited seating, but it could be that there was so many people. Their menu is displayed on a sign right where their line starts. They have specialty Mexico coffee, such as Mazapán latte. There was quite a bit of people in line but it moved rapidly. They even have a water station. There was a lot of staff working on orders. The barista was nice and helpful. They were having a limited edition with a matcha speciality with agave. I ordered the mazapán latte. The price was reasonable. We didn't have to wait long for our drinks, about 5 minutes. My drink was delicious! There were bits of mazapán in the drink! I would definitely come back!

Visited this cafe 3 times now and it's become one of my favorite coffee shops. Their service has always been friendly, and I love looking at their wall art while I wait for my order. Such a creative and relaxing environment! I've ordered the Mazapan and the Spear lattes and they didn't disappoint. I really enjoy being able to support and embrace different parts of Mexico. Thank you Cafe Oro!

I ordered an iced Mazapan coffee and it was sooo good! Such a cute little vibe and friendly staff.

Came here for a lunch break. Matcha was good, but the avocado toast wasn't very tasty. It also felt a bit overpriced for the portion size.

I didn't want to enter any cafe very small/ with petite tables or judgement if I sat down for 1.5 hr to work on my computer. I bought a sausage croissant which was just ok, but still a nice quick breakfast item. I was able to sit in a comfy chair with an outlet source & table to conference in my meeting. I was left unbothered & comfortable the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. There are several lounge chairs, tables & areas to space out to work, read, lounge, etc! I would certainly return another day to try out their coffee menu and those earl grey lavender scones (wish I saw those first!!) The barista was kind & the atmosphere very pleasant!

SERVICE here is VERY BAD!…read more The service at Back to the Grind was genuinely one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had. While I was in the middle of placing my order, an older gentleman wearing glasses abruptly walked away from me mid-conversation to speak with someone he knew. No acknowledgment, no "I'll be right back," nothing. I was left standing there confused and waiting while they casually chatted amongst themselves. At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

I usually like bitter coffee but this one caught me off guard haha The Customer service wasn't great.. The server asked if we needed anything else but was already walking away before we could answer. Overall, the matcha and egg+cheese sandwich was the best part from this experience. I would recommend those two.
