My fiancé and I had made plans with a friend, and she chose this cafe as our meeting spot. It was all of our first times here, and she had seen a viral video of them. Parking is a bit difficult here, especially since Riverside started implementing a pay for parking system with much direction. Parking in the lot is very expensive, so I'd recommend parking on the street and using the Riverside Parking website. We came inside and the seating areas were full. It was around 10 am that we were there and were quite hungry. When we approached the counter, my first order was to get The Spear. It sounded like a good drink! I also started trying to order their food items and the cashier said their kitchen wasn't open; they were waiting for another staff member to arrive. We said okay, and took a seat. I received my drink, and when I took a sip, I couldn't help but make a face. My friend had ordered the same drink, and also made a face. We both agreed that our drinks weren't good. Mine tasted as similar to spoiled milk. I tried to keep drinking my drink, and when I reached 30%, we left and I tossed it. I truly liked the interior. It was very clean and simplistic. I'm willing to come back to change my rating, but I'd need to try a different drink. I was also a bit confused about their kitchen hours. I'm hoping for a better experience next time.

After having lunch nearby, my friend told me there was a coffee place I absolutely had to try before I left Riverside. It's located a block away from the Mission. Walking in, I was impressed with all the cool artwork on the walls by local artists. The place was packed and there was a long line near the counter. Although it ended up not being a line to order, it was a line to a photo booth! After looking at the menu and eyeballing their signature drinks, my friend nudged me to get The Spear (espresso with white chocolate sauce and macadamia nut syrup) as it was her favorite. Glad I went along with that suggestion. WOW! This is definitely one of my favorite flavored coffees. The macadamia nut flavor was prominently there. I enjoyed that nutty taste. We took our drinks to-go as she had to get back to work. I slurped half of mine down before remembering to take my yelp photo. If you don't have a photo, it never happened. But believe me, this happened and I loved it!

I love the culture and appreciate that they are uplifting the the producer of coffee beans - sourced from Mexico. Their cafe is also cozy with plants and art everywhere. I ordered a matcha since I am caffeine sensitive and loved it. I did need help ordering a coffee for my sister in law and the barista helped me pick out a drink that she ended up loving. My new fav cafe in Riverside has been found.

First time stopping by and had a great experience overall. Staff was friendly and made some recommendations, which I took for my drink. The mazapan latte was a good choice. I asked for less sweetness, as the barista told me it can be sweet, and im glad I did because it turned out just right. It was a nice balance between nutty and vanilla-y. For those that have had a mazapan, you will also get the chunks of nuts at the bottom of your drink. The cafe is a decent space and very modern. There were plenty of people chillin and doing homework so it seemed like a good spot to hang out. I would recommend checking it out.

This was my first time stopping by, and I decided to try a different coffee spot on my way to work. As a coffee enthusiast, I'm always excited to discover new places. Nos greeted me right away with a warm smile and provided excellent recommendations. I ordered the Jaguar with oat milk and the bacon egg bites, and both were outstanding. The café is a great size with plenty of seating, making it comfortable whether you're meeting friends, working, or just enjoying your coffee. They also have a cute patio area that adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The complimentary water was good and cold. Overall, a wonderful first experience. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Great new up and coming coffee shop in Riverside! I've been here twice and both times I've got the marzapan latte. I enjoy its unique flavor, not too sweet. It is somewhat chunky similar to if you've ever gotten a peanut butter latte before however it's not too noticeable and you can get an extra whisked if it bothers you. I will look forward to coming back to try their specialty coffees and also their pastries since they were mostly out when I visited. They use Monin syrups and have alternative milk options available - See the menu. The ambience is great. Music is not too loud seating available for large group groups and plenty of outlets. However, I think there is room to expand the amount of tables especially given the amount of outlets. This could be a great place to study or work, especially if you live within walking distance and wouldn't have to worry about parking. Located between the Mission Inn and the Riverside convention center in downtown options for parking include street parking or parking in any of the downtown Riverside lots. On Saturdays and Sundays parking is free. On weekdays the first 30 minutes is free and otherwise paid by app. I'd recommend parking in lot 52 on orange and fifth if you don't want to fight for street parking. They do have a restroom located in the back just ask the staff. Hours are 7 AM to 7 PM every day. Wi-Fi available

By farrrrr the best coffee shop in the inland empire. It's great to see a new coffee shop reminiscent of early coffee shop culture, great music, good seating, outlets and WiFi. I visit about 3-5 coffee shops a week and this one is so great. The vibe inside, the flavors, service, and prices are all 10/10. FLAVORS I have tried almost every specialty coffee in their menu, and they're all delicious. In specific I love their mazapán and Mexican mocha. Not too overpowering like some of the more established coffee shops in the IE and not too sweet like many of the boutique coffee shops or home based bars. If you're looking for over the top drinks, this may not be the place, but if you're looking for great basic flavors this is the place. The crepes are a perfect size and very delicious SERVICE Very friendly, electrical outlets, water station in the front. The owner seems to be very welcoming as he's always greeting customers. A lot of times owners stay in the back, but he even has his business cards out in the front. VIBE THIS. This is my favorite part. As someone who works from home, I always look for local coffee shops, but often find the space too loud, uncomfortable seating or the space not very welcoming. Here the music is 10/10, not just mellow basic music but some Spanish classics that I haven't heard in years. The windows make it a vibrant yet calm space. They also have a variety of tables and window seating and couches, which I truly haven't seen in many other shops. And nothing beats being in downtown Riverside. Congrats team this is truly a gem

Came in on a Sunday at 10:30. It is very "industrial" looking but plenty of tables and a seating area at the window. The shoppe was busy. There were three customers ahead of us. Our server was extremely friendly and took the order for the four of us (four drinks and three food items) Mexican mocha (one hot and one cold)-highly recommend. Mazipan (?)-flavorful and the spear-looking for the Dulce delight but it's no longer made so this was a great substitute! Food took a bit but that was expected -they make it fresh!! Food: egg and sausage sandwich-everything great:fresh egg, great bread; definitely a must buy. Crepes-Nutella and strawberries-fresh strawberries balance out the sweetness of the Nutella -yum. The avocado toast-tasted great loaded with avocado, cucumber and tomato-however kinda on the small side and although delicious, not quite sure that it is worth the price. This place is definitely a must go when we are in the area.

Located in downtown Riverside, this corner coffee shop offers some delicious selections of coffees and teas. They also had some pretty good breakfast options, which included our selections of Avocado Toast and the Sausage Sandwich. Both were exceptionally tasty and great. The ambiance of the place is well. It feels very spacious and cozy. They have your standard tables to sit in, but they also have a couch and the corners have cozy padding and tables if you want to hang out with a larger group of people. There's also some books for kids and adults to enjoy and all in all, the place just makes you feel relaxed and you can enjoy your coffee or treats. The service is quick and the people running the kitchen and register and very friendly. Definitely recommend Cafe Oro Dos Aztecas.

This place is so amazing! From the service, to the care in making absolutely phenomenal items. I'll be coming back! We went during their soft opening so while they're finding their stride the owner and staff made the experience great. Hope to try the food on my next visit! Loved the photos on the wall of the owner in the mountains of the farms the beans cone from. Beautiful art too.

I haven't been back for a couple months since they opened. I've seen some changes. They don't have as many plants inside now. There is a projector screen near the counter. They have also added and switched out the art and a Photo Booth, which is nice! The cafe was packed but like the first time I came. Many people inside drinking and lounging. I was in line for while to order and I got an iced matcha with lavender syrup and the bacon and hash egg bites. My total came out to around $13. Since there were so many people in line and ordering with what looked like limited staff, it did take awhile. I got my bites first. They were small and I only got two. I was a little bit surprised? Because it was $5.75. Not worth it. My drink was also wrong, as I got a matcha and they gave me a coffee. I explained to the barista that my order was wrong and he apologized and said they would remake it. It did take awhile but I finally received it. Matcha was good but it did kind of change my opinion on this place. I was not the only one, I saw another customer say it was not what they ordered. It must have been an off day for them.

Amazing service and the coffee is as fresh as it can get . Proof of origin ! Make sure to try it black so you can taste the notes and then go ahead and order some of their flavored lattes . Space is huge and service was fast! Needed great coffee in downtown !

There have the menu on a chalkboard and a smaller sign with the specials on a small table. There was only one worker and she had greeted me when I came in and to let her know if I needed anything. The coffee shop itself is perfect for downtown Riverside--very fitting with the vibe and style. The lady working was very friendly. However, the menu is extremely busy, and you practically need a key to understand what's what or even how to order. Once we ordered, I noticed the ceremonial matcha is made with a handheld electric frother, and the cold foams are premade in jars and simply added on top (not made fresh). When we received our matchas, let's just say it tasted exactly like it looked: mostly milk with very little matcha flavor, topped with subpar cold foam. This is by far the most expensive, worst-tasting matcha I've ever had. I can usually find a way to justify things or give a place some grace, but this was beyond help.
