Coach Racae is a great coach - very patient and thoughtful in how she provides individual direction.

Austin to this location and when you pull in it is a little sketchy from the outside. You will not be disappointed once you go in. She reserved the smash room and prior to the room you are fitted for the outfits to smash in. You wear them over your clothes so we were looking like construction workers. When we got in the room they asked if we had any music request and were able to Bluetooth it. They go over the rules and you will get I believe 3 warnings and I will say my daughter got a warning for dropping the mallet. They have everything you need to smash and you are able to bring in items also. The people who reserved it after us brought in a bunch due to bulk pick up just happening. Something to think about if you choose to go. I intended to go back with just my daughter and do the paint room and other things they had but we haven't made it back since. Hopefully we will go again in the future.

On 1/29, my best friend and I booked a rage room to celebrate her birthday and release some stress…read more Unfortunately, the experience ended up being more stressful than cathartic. The reservation was made earlier in the week. We arrived at 12:20 PM, 10 minutes before our scheduled time, and found the door locked with no staff present. No signage, no response. When my friend called the listed phone number, a man answered and said he was stuck on the south side of San Marcos due to an accident and would arrive in 15 minutes. He showed up 30 minutes later. When he arrived, he brought an elderly woman and two dogs. One of the dogs immediately jumped out of the car and approached us in a parking lot that was visibly covered in broken glass. This felt unsafe and irresponsible, especially for the animals. He let us inside and offered "free upgrades" to make up for the delay. That goodwill disappeared quickly once we saw the condition of the facility. The interior looked nothing like the photos or walkthrough shown on their website. The space was run-down, messy, and felt genuinely unsafe--more abandoned than operational. Upstairs, we were shown lockers and dirty, visibly used coveralls that we were expected to wear over our clothes. The rage room itself was already filled with debris and leftover broken items from previous groups--far beyond what would be expected or safe. It was clear the room had not been cleaned or reset. He then told us he planned to clean the room while we were outside doing our "upgraded activity," which turned out to be smashing printers because he did not want to carry them upstairs himself. We asked what the plan would have been if he had arrived on time. Rather than answering directly, he became defensive and said he expected us to be "more understanding." At that point, it was clear there was no preparation or plan in place. We decided we were not comfortable continuing and requested a refund. He appeared relieved by this decision. As we were leaving, the elderly woman followed us outside and attempted to show us an email claiming they had notified us earlier that they would be late. She said she could not call because they did not have our phone number. If your booking system does not collect phone numbers, that is a flaw in your process--not the customer's responsibility. I strongly recommend avoiding this business. The concept has potential, but the execution, cleanliness, safety standards, and professionalism were severely lacking. I would be genuinely concerned about someone getting hurt--person or animal--if conditions remain this way.

Phenomenal Experience -- We'll Be Back!…read more My sister and I booked the last two available spots for a completely spur-of-the-moment horseback ride with @texastrailrides at @lonestarranchtexas, and wow... it was absolutely phenomenal. What a perfect way to start our first adventure of the year, especially in the Year of the Horse This year, we've decided to create moments instead of buying things, and this experience was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The instructions were clear and simple, making the ride comfortable even if you haven't been on a horse in a while. Our instructor, Annabelle, was AMAZING -- knowledgeable, calm, kind, and truly attentive the entire time. I had the honor of riding Poncho, a strong, steady, and beautiful horse. There was something incredibly grounding about simply walking the trails, crossing through water, and fully trusting him to guide us safely -- and he absolutely did. That connection, that peace, that trust... unforgettable. We enjoyed this experience so much that we already know we'll be back in March, and we plan to end this year the same way we started it -- on horseback, making memories together. If you're looking for horseback riding in Texas, I highly recommend this trail ride. It's peaceful, empowering, well-guided, and truly soul-filling. Thank you @texastrailrides, @lonestarranchtexas, Annabelle, and Poncho -- we can't wait to ride again

Since I'm also afraid of heights, ropes courses are a good way to get a dose of this. The Georgetown Challenge Course is designed for team-building exercises, so you can't just go by yourself and have fun, unfortunately. But it's a great place to go for corporate, club or team events. I went in February with about 15 people from Hill Country Outdoors, an outdoors, sports and social club. We started the morning doing some silly but surprisingly fun games on the ground. Then, we got to the good stuff. There's a large number of activities that you can do here, from climbing up a pole to crossing high wires or logs... there's actually more than you can do in a day (you talk over the activities when you book, but can change them during the day). All are safe, as you are belayed, but also scary, since they're up high. I think I had fun, as I'd go back, but whenever I do these things I'm always asking myself why I thought it was a good idea, it's never fun until it's over. The downside to this place is that you are actively belayed, it's not like the Cypress Canopy challenge course where you're always hooked in and can do stuff yourself. That's also a plus if you're actually doing a team-building exercise, of course. None of the activities require you to be in super shape... if you can climb a ladder, you can do pretty much anything here. Though you may not really want to ;) If you're looking for something different to do, get a group together and try this place!

The question we are then faced with is "How and where do we learn to think and act with the group in mind?" Nestled among the trees lining the North San Gabriel River, the course consists of many low team elements, 22 new and exciting high elements, and two climbing walls. We can also provide special skill workshops including rock climbing or rappelling.
