What a hidden gem in Ontario! We took our daughter's very elaborate and delicate prom dress for dry cleaning. The end result was excellent. Daniel the clerk was very pleasant and direct. It was completed a day ahead of the promised time (we weren't in a rush but it was nice to know). The best part is they charged only 25-35% of what neighboring cleaners were charging. We understand that the dress requires a lot of hand-steaming because of all its beads and tile. But Archibald Cleaners really delivered a great service for a really really great cost. This shop is conveniently located next to Ralph's and they do a great job. They are also open later than most cleaners. Warning - The prices are on the high side, I would say west side if we were in L.A., but you get what you pay for. A dress shirt is almost $5 to launder and iron. Save your receipts for your CPA. They are always able to remove stubborn and tricky stains and the work is done right. My clothes look great when I pick them up. Highly recommend if you live nearby. read more

I paid $19.98 to get my uniform cleaned (not overnight). When I asked the man how much it was overnight, he said "$19.99. So when I told him my uniform wasn't request to be cleaned overnight and I dropped it off over Saturday, he said, oh the prices changed over the weekend. So i asked him again, how much it cost for overnight, he said "like $22.99". The price literally doubled over the weekend without any listing. Mens button up dress shirt both needed to be washed and dry cleaned and ironed they came out great 2 other items was my shall and pants I got washed and ironed as well as hemmed turned out great just the bottom of my shall had hanging string and they were all tangled badly. Highly recommend coming here! I searched for someone on here to fix a top I have and everyone was quoting me $7.00 and up for each hole. There were 4 so that means I'd pay $28 minimum and I paid $30 for the top. So I definitely was leaning towards just not fixing it. I was at the grocery store and saw this next door so I decided to stop by & they quoted me $15 for the entire job. I dropped the top off Wednesday and picked it up Saturday. The top had been reinforced all around which is a huge plus! The sewing is really good and not even noticeable. This is definitely my new go to shop! Used their services three different occasions. Twice for dry cleaning and once for alteration. Dry cleaning is great, but when I picked up my new dress shirt for alteration there was a tiny little fray that was noticeable. This was a brand new shirt, so when asked about it I was immediately accused of trying to get a discount. Worker said "I didn't know you were going to be like this." I merely wanted justification or even a simple yes we may have done this by accident, but no I was accused of being a lier instantly. I did not approach this in a hostile manner and was willing to pay full price for alteration services, but even insisted I was still going to pay, but I was still shunned away and said to leave. Overall I had received good customer service and the best part was that when I got the jacket back. It looked almost brand new. He did an excellent job fixing the lining of the jacket and before had begun tearing a whole through the back of the silk inseam and the color of the jacket wasn't faded. One was fit as measured by the man (even though it still came out looking like a potato sack on me) and the other one was sewn WAY TOO SMALL! Are you kidding me? It was like they threw my measurements out the window and just guessed on the second one. I couldn't even get the two buttons to touch (it's a button up shirt). Wow... The worse dry cleaners in Ontario. My clothing was damaged in more than one place I was disrespected after asking for a discount. A professional business owner would recognize and apologize. Instead, the man kept telling me, "I can't believe you are asking for a discount...I'll give you the discount but this will come back to you". He kept going and going and insisted I never go back. I was in shock how unprofessional this man reacted to the situation. I am unsure if he's the owner or a simple employee. Whoever he may be, he is drastically hurting the business.
