I needed a quote for dry cleaning a king-size comforter. I called three local dry cleaners--two provided reasonable estimates over the phone (around $40-$70). This one was the only place that insisted I bring it in to 'see the size and weight.' I drove over with the comforter in a plastic bag. While I waited at the door with the bag in my hand, the guy glanced at it and quoted $85 on the spot. It felt like a waste of my time, especially since the other quotes were significantly lower and given remotely. I ended up going elsewhere for less than half the cost. It would be helpful if he could've asked the right questions and quoted over the phone. read more

Stopped in to get a quote on sewing a couple of detached belt loops on a pair of Levi's 559 jeans. He said 15 dollars each loop. So that's 30 dollars for that pair. Then I showed him 3 other jeans that needed minor repairs and he quoted 25 dollars each so 50 dollars plus each. So I asked for a package deal and he wouldn't budge so I had no other choice but to turn it down. I'm not cheap, I just hate people that talk down to you like you don't matter while they try to rip you off. Especially when new ones are $35-45 a pair. I guess not everyone in Norco is nice and definitely do not give any kind of breaks to a Senior Citizen. I hope their cleaning services is at least satisfactory. I found someone else that does this work on the side and they are doing all for $100 cash. I'm glad there's still decent people out there. I wish there was a zero star option on here. read more

John did an amazing job. I use my guitar for live gigs and often travel with a guitar pedal board that fits neatly into a carrying case that was designed for it. Unfortunately, I tore the zipper by overstuffing it, and this perfect bag was nearly useless. After being turned down for repairs by several cleaners, cobblers and seamstresses, I was lucky enough to find John and Casper Convenient Cleaners. Not only did he give me a more than fair price and a promise to beat anyone else in the game, but boy did he deliver. I couldn't be happier with the service here. John is the friendliest alteration staff I have ever met and is patient with me as well. There are a bunch of other alteration places within 10 minutes of me, but I definitely recommend that you make a further drive out to Casper's. It takes me about 30 minutes to get here from work. I got 3 pieces dry cleaned and 2 pants hemmed. Ooof I love that crease on my pants, it's so sharp I might accidentally slice my finger if I touch it. John is very honest. I called a bunch of places for quotes before I came here. Most places said, "bring it in, we'll hem and taper it for you for $8" or whatever. However, I came here because John was the only person who said, "I want to see the product first before giving you a price on it." I'm glad he did too. I know every place has reduced or changed hours so when I called to confirm he made sure I didn't come in while he was doing deliveries and waste a trip. When I got there I showed him what I didn't like about my tops and hoped he could alter them to perfection. He reassured me that they didn't look like they needed adjusting but he still went ahead and worked with me and my pickiness. Exceptional service. Dealt with multiple dry cleaners over the past 3 years. From work uniforms, dresses for special occasions, table linens for events. On Thursday, 9/26 walked in - in hopes of getting a stain removed from my very expensive, delicate, ivory wedding gown. Prior to walking in I visited Kona cleaners and another in Rancho plus I'd called 3 different cleaners in the inland empire area to see about having my dresses dry cleaned. Many felt confident about removing the stain however the turnaround time was beyond what I could spare. 2.5 weeks to 1 month. Due to an emergency any photo shoot I needed the stain removed right away. I was worried as the owner explained it can't be guaranteed that it can be removed without a watermark / water spot. His dry cleaner, Lisa, said she'd try her best to get the stain removed. I understood I was taking a risk and worse case scenario I'd have to have the entire dress dry cleaned or a VERY high fee. The following day (less than 24 hours) on Friday afternoon the owner called me personally happy to share that Lisa was able to get it handled and as I picked up the dress today (Saturday) he was beyond proud of being responsible for putting a smile on my face! He not only bagged the dress appropriately in its original bag but he walked it to my truck and grabbed the door for me. Total cost: a priceless experience as he explained I owed nothing. Since we all took risks and I placed my trust in them. BUT I plan on returning and will pay the super high fee to have my dresses cleaned and restored.
