The hotel itself was clean and has a restaurant within the property so it was nice not have to go out too much. The location can be very convenient if you are going within downtown, there is a lot of things that are walking distance, however, I was there on a business trip after superbowl so I was woken up around 6AM with honking and people being loud. I also was put in a room next to a employee closet room so I could hear them going in and out at all times of the evening/early morning. I did also forget an item in my room and they go through a third party for lost items which ended up costing me $40 to get it returned and ended up getting it in a taped old box of swiffer. For the cost, I would have thought it would come at least in a shipping pouch. read more

We had a great 3 day stay in Seattle at the Silver Cloud Hotel, too bad it was completely marred by them trying to charge us twice for our room silently hoping we wouldn't notice. $1,200 for 3 days in a King bed room with a pull out sofa is pretty expensive in the first place, but to then try and charge us twice is ridiculous. The manager we spoke to pretty much said to call our bank and figure it out. We would have stayed here again in the future, but after this we will never stay with this hotel chain again. read more

One rotten apple! Front desk supervisor booked us for a 2 night stay. General manager KJ Roff contacted us and said we were booked only for one night. Arrogantly addressed my senior husband and charged us $60 more for parking and the car was covered in bird poop. When my husband asked why he accused my husband of being agitated and was asked to leave. My husband stated it was a misunderstanding and paid the difference. KJ Roff was completely unprofessional and ruined our visit to Seattle, WA. read more

Our favorites were the biscuits and gravy as well as the bagel breakfast sandwich which I had served with gravy. The servers were super, SUPER nice. Maria is the best. We stayed at the Silver Cloud Hotel - Seattle Stadium from 3/20-3/22 and used valet for the entire stay. We did not move our vehicle once after check-in on Friday and did not receive it back until Sunday at checkout. Pickup was unacceptable--we waited a long time for our car while the valet operation appeared completely overwhelmed and understaffed. Staff were visibly rushing and struggling to handle the volume of vehicles. When we finally received our car, due to the delay and rushed handoff, we did not notice any issues before leaving. After returning home, we discovered clear damage on the passenger side and rearview mirror area, including yellow paint transfer consistent with the hotel's valet wall. We contacted the hotel immediately and filed a claim through management, but it was denied based on photos we were not allowed to review. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Between the long wait, lack of care in handling our vehicle, and the lack of accountability afterward, this is not the level of service we expected. We would not recommend relying on this hotel's valet service under any circumstances. We are now having to involve our own insurance and legal review. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. read more

This hotel is greatttttt for the exact purpose of being close to T-Mobile arena for my concert!! It's about 1-1.5 miles away from pikes place and .5 miles away from Chinatown. I love the service here. Staff is friendly. They have valet. The hotel is clean and gorgeous. The rooms are very nice and clean. Has a second sink with a fridge and microwave!!! I planned it for the purpose of being able to walk home after the concert and it is literally across the street. I am so excited!!!! They have room service which is directly the same price as food from the restaurant so I've been able to enjoy food from our room rather than going into the restaurant for basically the same price. We stayed here one night over the weekend after going to a nearby event and found the location and amenities to be good. Our check-in, check-out, and valet service for our car were all easy and without complication. Our room was definitely above average and decent sized. The price for being in the city was very affordable, and the room was comfortable and quiet. I thought the large shower and shower seat was particularly nice. I also enjoyed the second sink at the bar, which made two people getting ready simultaneously so much easier. We didn't have a chance to check out the gym, pool, or lounge; but it was nice they had all of those available. Overall, it was one of our more pleasant stays in Seattle. We usually find hotels to be overpriced and then they under deliver. This place was the opposite, and that was refreshing. read more

Plan ahead. - located across the street from T-Mobile park and diagonal from Hatback. In house restaurant is Jimmy's, featuring typical American fare. Fun atmosphere on game/event days. - in room offerings has a Keurig. This is your only coffee option in the immediate area. The restaurant ( Jimmy's) opens at 7am if you'd prefer to order in house. But bc of this, I highly recommend the hotel offers paper to go cups in the room. - modern updates are a huge improvement from the once stale and dark traditional decor. Bed was comfortable and room felt clean. - a trade off on the location is noise. Be prepared to hear everything at the stadium, street noise, sirens... - after my first visit, I was hesitant to return as it just felt dirty. Stayed here purely because it was close to the venue i had to attend. First off valet was good the older gentlemen was great, the younger guys not so much. I had to ask repeatedly to get a cart, had to load everything from my car myself. I ask them to bring up the cart, gave me an attitude. Front desk lady late at night was dismissive, black woman short hair (she looked like she was maybe on something). I asked for a water and she just looked at me and said there was none. I know for a fact there is mini water bottles in the back room. I always asked her to order fries to my room since we were stuck in the lobby with 55 people because the elevator wasn't working. A safty hazard is that the Stair well is locked!! From every floor. There's only one working elevator. No bathrooms in the lobby when jimmys is closed. Collin the bartender asked me for my credit card when I ordered a drink but I over heard he didn't ask for one persons card when they sat down. He needs an attitude adjustment. The other bar tender was fantastic brown hair glasses. The room was ok the tub was nice and deep. This room is small. Room was clean but only had two towels! The bedding was weird thin and not cozy. I ordered a couple bottles of water to the room and was charged $115! Last rant then called my room about 6-7am to tell me they had a noise complaint coming from MY ROOM I was sleeping with an early flight, I was not amused and relayed to the lady that it was clearly coming from upstairs. Not happy I got woken up after working the BOO festival all night. I always asked for a late check out when I checked in. I called to confirm around 10pm & they said they have max capacity for late check outs...... There was only two staff members out of 10 or so I interacted with that were friendly. I didn't feel comfortable or welcome here at all. I had my door Open waiting for the bellhop to come (which never did) the house keeper kept asking me to get out of the room. It was 15 mins BEFORE my check out. Jimmy's fries were good so that's a Plus but I wouldn't stay here again. I guess I'm just use to the friendly staff at the four seasons and ritz but they should take notes. Hope the manger sees this but I feel like they just don't care to make your stay comfortable. read more

Walking distance about 30 min to Pike Pear and the Needle. The hotel is beautiful inside also and the cost is not high at all. The staff is wonderful. This hotel has low quality pillows and mattress. It is an uncomfortable sleeping arrangement. The elevator was broke and the second one was bogged with people trying to get on it so it took twenty minutes to get up to our room on the 8th floor. You're forced to pay valet charges but there is no attendant when you're ready to leave. The front desk tells you to wait for the valet as if you're inconsiderate of their cause. Absolutely ridiculous. The cocktail hours are over at 6pm on Sunday. It's challenging to find their entrance when the games are going on at the stadium. We will never stay here again. I attempted to inform management about my stay and the guy was full of excuses. He even called me a liar when I said there was only one attendee for valet. Perhaps there were more but it was 1030 pm on a Sunday and another customer waited with us for valet til almost 11pm. There was a shift change at that time we shouldn't have had to wait that long for valet service. This establishment is a three star hotel at best. Highly recommend staying somewhere else. read more

We have a goal of visiting as many Ballparks as we can so this was a stop on our list. We chose this hotel due to the location and distance it is to the ballpark. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a rooftop pool and spa that is absolutely beautiful and refreshing. The view from there is amazing. They have a restaurant built in called Jimmy's on First. The first day we were able to walk to Pike's Place and to the Waterfront. It was about a mile walk but not bad at all. The rooms are super clean and roomy. They also have amazing shampoo and conditioner that smells soooooo good. Would definitely recommend this stay! read more

I just spent the weekend here for The Taylor Swift concert with my family. Where do I start: Well, you drive up and a super friendly Valet takes your keys, gives you a valet ticket that's good for your entire stay ( come and go and you please) and shows you where to check in. Check-in is a breeze, super friendly staff , as you check in. The friendly staff tells you that the pool and hot tub are on the 9th floor which is roof top with an Amazing view of the T-mobile field and the whole street leading to Lumen field! The other side of the roof top pool area is an amazing view of Seattle's iconic buildings like the Space Needle etc. The room was clean, with microwave, mini fridge, cozy bed, big flat screen Tv with lots of channels to watch movies if that's your thing. Oh the view from my room was absolutely Amazing! T-Mobil all lit up at night is so cool. Room service was fast and friendly. House keeping was on point too! There was a small vending room with an ice machine right next to my room with a soda machine. Which came in handy more than once in the middle of the night I enjoyed people watching out my window when the baseball game ended Friday night, hundreds of baseball fans leaving the game celebrating the Mariners victory over the Blue Jays. I will definitely stay here again. Especially for a concert, it's walking distance to Lumen field, no fighting traffic, just walk to the hotel and leave in the morning the next day! This hotel was fantastic. We arrived to a bottle of wine, bottled water and chocolate. The room was clean and quiet, and we were next to the elevator! We were attending a concert at the TMobile Park so location was outstanding. It was nice to just walk back, the only traffic was everyone trying to use the elevators post concert. The staff was all friendly and the restaurant was good. We were able to walk back to the hotel from Pike Place Market after taking an Uber there. It was a nice walk. read more

Stayed here when we came in town for a Seahawks game. I cannot imagine a better place to have stayed. Lumen Filed is basically right behind the hotel and T-Mobile Park (Mariners) is across the street. For proximity to the sporting events, there is simply no better option. We didn't have a room view of Lumen as we were on the other side, but we had a great view of the water and honestly, it was no worse. As for the hotel itself, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Even with the chaos of gameday, we had a very short wait to get our car post game. We stayed here overnight when we attended a show at Lumen field. The convenience was unparalleled for that venue! Our room was spacious and comfortable. There is a pool and hot tub on the roof which I will be sure to use next time I stay here. Parking was easy with a valet area off-street right by the hotel entrance. I was a little reluctant to book a hotel that was not part of a major chain that I frequent but the location was just too good for working a show in the Lumen Center. I have to say I was surprised at how clean and well maintained my room was, I first thought it had to be a fresh renovation but it didn't really look like it was recent work but not one sign of dirt , corners in the bathroom, chrome fixtures, etc completely spotless. TL;DR - we loved it and can't wait for another excuse to stay here. We are really pathetic and got a hotel room to ride out the recent heat wave. There was still plenty of availability around town when we first started looking, so I did a lot of research and Silver Cloud was our first choice because it seemed to be the best deal by far for the price. I am so grateful that we were able to get a room there; we were super comfortable and honestly didn't want to leave when the time came. In the midst of my research, I noticed that a lot of local hotels tack on nightly "amenities fees," so the nightly rate you see posted really isn't accurate, but Silver Cloud doesn't do that even though they have the best amenity of all (a rooftop pool!). We were really excited about the pool, as I'm sure a lot of people were that weekend, and most Seattle hotels don't have them. Of the ones that do, only a couple of them are outdoors. I will say that the pool was a little smaller than I expected, but we still really enjoyed it. The only thing missing for me up there would be an umbrella or two. There are no shady areas for most of the day. We just had a standard king room, but it was plenty sizable and absolutely met all of our needs. We had brought some food so we wouldn't have to eat out for every single meal and the mini fridge had plenty of room for us. We ended up staying for 4 days, 2 of which were work days, and I worked out of the room very comfortably. The desk had more than enough space for all my crap and wifi worked great. Speaking of comfortable, we agreed that the bed was the most comfortable either of us has ever slept in anywhere - like, we're still talking about it (which is kind of weird maybe, but whatever). The shower was also pretty awesome, as was the climate control for the whole room. There is also a complimentary guest laundry room, which was conveniently on our floor. We did take advantage of that because we ended up spending one more night there than we'd packed for, and were grateful to have clean clothes on that last day. There is tons of stuff in walking distance - obviously, the stadiums are right there if that's what you're here for, and even if you're not, on game days, there are many awesome food trucks on the street directly behind the hotel. Plus, you are barely 5 mins walk from both Pioneer Square and the International Dist. There has also been a lot of development in the opposite direction going toward SoDo. I saw some complaints about the neighborhood in some other reviews, but I assume those people must not have seen much of Seattle when they were here or I have some bad news for them about basically every single neighborhood. Our room truly felt like our home away from home and I'm not kidding that we didn't want to leave! We will gladly stay again next time we are forced to vacate our apt for days at a time. Stayed here for several years before the pandemic and was always wonderful. Naturally I booked it for my first trip back in 2 years Was disappointed pretty quickly. Had asked for additional pillows but we didn't get them. Only a couple towels in the bathroom. It was obvious they are skimping to save money. I'm sure the pandemic hit them hard Went to breakfast in the am but the restaurant was closed! Had to adapt quickly and find a place to eat Found out later the restaurant opens at 8 for breakfast. Tried to get some water from the gift shop, they were out of water. Also had a train going by all hours of the day and night. Certainly not their fault, but I never noticed it before. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE HOTEL! I would stay so far away from this establishment. I stayed here multiple times (repeat to give them the chance to improve) and it just kept getting worse. Aside from the marginally clean facility, they damaged my property, incorrectly billed my credit card, and their insurance company ran me around for over a year. My first issue was their valet, who returned my vehicle in a wrecked state. Through months and months of back and forth with management, as well as outright ignoring me, their insurance company offered to reimburse me for the $3k+ in damage done. A couple months down the road I took my vehicle in for a brake job and was told that the impact caused what could have been a devastating accident caused by the damage. Silver Cloud refused to cover what they damaged, as it was after they fixed the body of my vehicle. This shows the negligence and lack of care a HOSPITALITY provider has for their customer. I gave them another chance and stayed there once more and they billed a huge amount to my credit card citing "damage to the room". Needless to say it was a mistake but they took a while to refund the money after I spoke to several individuals over several days. I would NEVER stay at this nightmare of a hotel! read more

My husband and I planned a week long getaway to Seattle to attend a concert and a football game. What a great place to stay for attending both. Directly across the street from both T-Mobile and Lumen fields. From the moment we checked in, to the 6 nights later of checking out, it was a great experience. Staff was super friendly, rooms were clean and smelled good, elevators maintained, felt super safe with the fact you have to use your key card to use the elevators. Free use of laundry facilities in the 8th floor was an amazing bonus. I had seen this as an amenity and knowing we were going to be there for 6 nights, I brought laundry soap and dryer sheets. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave. It was definitely pricey, but for what we experienced and the convenience, it was worth it for us. read more

Our visit on June 29 was perfect. We were there for a Sounders game and this hotel was perfect. We drove up to the valet counter and a valet greeted us in seconds. Very pleasant and welcoming. Good sign to see upon arrival. The staff at the front desk were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel lobby, elevator and hallways were very clean. Our our room was clean, arranged perfectly, a nice huge TV, and a great view. Jimmy's restaurant was good, although we wished the bar would have been opened at lunch time and not at 3pm. But we still got our drinks, so we were happy. The front desk associate greeted us at check out and thanked us for our visit. A valet greeted us at their desk, took my name, got the car to us and also thanked us the our visit. It was very nice and a great surprise to find two bottles of water in our drink compartments. Pretty good location for the price! It's right next to the Mariners ball park and the Seahawks field!! There weren't any games going on though. All of the restaurants and bars in the area were closed due to COVID. They made a few changes to some of the amenities, due to COVID, which was a bummer. The gym, hot tubs, restaurant and shuttle services were paused. We walked down to pike's place two days and enjoyed the journey! It's only about 1.2 miles and there are great sights to see. I booked this location to surprise my husband who LOVES the Mariners and the Seahawks for our anniversary and upon arrival EVERYONE and I mean everyone was so sweet. From the parking attendant, to the front desk receptionist Josh, to James, and other ladies downstairs who helped us with any questions, and a housekeeper who's name I forgot to grab but all who helped me & my husband with any questions we had during our stay.
