I contacted Arctic Cooling & Refrigeration when I found them on Home Advisor. They had a high rating but to be honest I have had some issues with Home advisor in the past and the rating did not match the service. So my AC was not cooling and I filled out the Home advisor request sheet and sent it in. I wanted to look at the reviews on other sites before I called but Alex called me. We set an appointment for 2 days away because I was working late the next day. He was friendly and understanding. I We exchanged some txt info and were set. The next day (The day before my Apt.) he txted me and asked if we could adjust the time because he had a client that needed a whole new unit installed. My AC was not working well but it was working and with the high temp outside I felt the other guy needed his AC more than me. Man, this is disappointing. We used Arctic about 2 years ago to install a new unit. Within 3 months it had freezing over issues. We contacted Arctic at least 15 times for assistance. They came and blew out the line once. Happened again a week later. We had to hire another company to come out and they said the freon in our brand new unit is very low. My business partner & I own several homes in the Minneola, Clermont, Leesburg area. We started using Artic Cooling & Refrigeration a year ago, we have had some issues with him not coming to see what the problem is or was with the units. Always had an excuse not to come until the net few days, had been a month at one time to get back to us. We started what he wanted was a monthly charge for for a twice a year servicing, but in return we had to call him to set them up. Just recently we had him service one of our units, was working fine till the tech serviced it, not it freezes up, because he checked the freon, said it was just a tad bit low, never added any, and it froze up, we text him to come out, now he refuses to check on it. Alex has been very verbal about not wanting to fix his or his tech's mistakes. He refuses to even go out to Leesburg at all. If you're needing an AC guy, I would suggest Kalo's or someone else. Please please take your business anywhere else! This is probably the most unprofessional, insulting company I've ever come across. We hired Alex to come in a fix a dampener on our AC unit. They came in, they replaced it and said it would be cool in our home within a few hours. A week later the temperature still would not go lower than 71 downstairs. When trying to reach out they would ignore our calls and messages. After eventually getting a hold of them Alex came out and started by saying everything was great we shouldn't have our curtains open, after I explained we never have them open, he tried to argue that I always keep them open (REALLY? In my own home you know better?) . He than points his "expensive thermometer" and says it's actually 64 in my home and not his fault.. it was clearly in the 70s like my home was saying, he left saying there was nothing he could do that's it.. later that day I have energy air out, and they take the time to look at the dampener and say oh it was installed correctly.. within 2 hours my home was 67 degrees and great.. Alex will botch your work and then run away.. literally just wants your money .. so unprofessional.. please do yourself a favor and go with literally anyone else! read more

I contracted Alex through a recommendation from a handyman who was working on my backyard. Our AC had a leak and we paid him $275 for the repair and freeon. The very next day we noticed the freeon appeared to be leaking exactly where he did the repair. We sent him video, called and asked him to come back to fix the job he did. He refused to come by and ghosted us. I had to contact another AC repair man to fix the work he did AND an additional $200 for the freeon that had leaked out. I do not recommend Arctic Cooling and Refrigeration LLC to anyone because he did not do the job I paid him for and Alex has horrible customer service. The least he could do is come back and check on the job he did to make it right. Don't waste your money on this guy and if you do DO NOT PAY CASH. Pay charge and if the job is botched call your provider and ask for a refund. read more
