I wanted to stop in and try breakfast at this place and I honestly wish I never did . Im expecting to get normal breakfast prices instead I got MAJOR RIPOFF BREAKFAST PRICES , I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE GOONG BACK TO SOEND ANY MORE HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS BUSINESS.. where do I start ? $19.99 for 2 eggs , threes little pancakes , shaved steak and cheese meat = complete ripoff ( no toast , no potatoes, no grits , No sliced apples , no hash browns.18.99 for 3 pieces of french toast and 1 bacon egg n cheese bagel ( Nothing else with it ) = COMPLETE RIPOFF . I asked 4 different employees why the meals are so high when U dont get anything with It ? ( of course no one answered and everyone acted like I was crazy ) Total waste of $40 bucks I even mentioned that I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS RIPOFF ESTABLISHMENT .. selling very small skimpy breakfast plates for Generous gourmet prices ( Hell no Im good ) Never going back.. ever ... big waste of money .. Instead If You are in the AREA Just make the drive to BROOKLAND GRILL ( You will thank Me later ) IM SO MAD I DIDNT JUST GO THERE AND GET A REAL BREAKFAST THATS WORTH IT . All BROOKLAND GRILLS PRICES ARE AWESOME TOO ( best breakfast spot ) ARDMORE CARRY PRICES AND PORTIONS are STRAIGHT garbage and ridiculous ... dont wasteyour money on this super basic super expensive breakfast ... U have been warned .. I had to be pissed to write all

I have driven by this place so many times over the years and never patronized because they were often closed. After eating here for the first time I understood they close around 3pm. On this occasion I visited in the morning for breakfast. What I love about this place is the efficiency and customer service. The register workers were very friendly and helpful. This place was very busy on this morning and it seems to be their normal morning rush. I ordered online and it seems many people do. The inside of the restaurant reminds me of a bodega where you can order food, purchase snacks, and convenience store items. The food, on the other hand, could have been a better experience. I get it, this place is a quick breakfast option and they probably overachieve with their simple breakfast items like sandwiches, however the quality just wasn't there. The attention to detail and preparation just wasn't there. I was very much disappointed in the quality, flavor, and presentation of the pancakes and French toast. The French toast was essentially traditional toast. I can't say I could differentiate between the two. I contemplated giving a 2* review, however, I appreciate their good customer service. Realistically, with a few minor adjustments on execution, the sandwiches and platters can be a hit which is disappointing to say. I will give them another try. You should give them a try.

My Husband order from here yesterday 01/26/24 and one of your disrespectful workers wrote this on his receipt

First night there, after 10 hours on the road, we had a meal so good, and so convenient, we went back Saturday and Sunday night before getting underway home on Monday morning. I wish the kind people there a great success and please, keep up the good work. A few highlites. The "free" salsa is some of the best I've ever encountered, much like Chico's in Welaka, Florida, distinct for it's use of Black Pepper. Secondly, the Guacamole was the best I've ever had outside my families homemade recipe. Very similar to ours in that it had salt, garlic, and lemon juice, in perfect proportions. We ate everything from Gumbo to fried Rainbow Trout, to Cheese Burger and Reuben Sandwiches, and every thing was splendid. The beer was COLD and the waitresses were friendly and on time. One evening we even had the owner serve out table. She was very nice to us. I hope they're still aroung if I ever have an occasion to head back to Washington.

Gone are the blue walls and no more of the carry out feel. I remember this place had some of best bacon but you can tell the quality of food has gone out the window. I walked in and was greeted by a guy taking orders. His customer service skills were good. That was the only reason for the 2 stars. I ordered the wings and waffle, Belgian waffle and breakfast platter along with 2 drinks for $42 bucks. Not too bad. We sat at a table and the food came. Once again, the guy at the counter was great. He made sure to bring over our waffles while they were hot. That was the only part of the food that was good/decent, hence the second star. The rest is poor quality and belongs in the trash. The eggs were not real and god awful. The 8 wingettes came straight out of a freezer bag/ air fryer. TRASH. The bacon was fresh out of the microwave. I'll never ever come back. The food is that bad. If there was anyone standing outside needing food I would have happily given it to them. This place has fallen off a cliff hence the empty parking lot. It is a hard no for me.

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.
