I had a laser tag party for my son 5 years ago...even though the pizza was over priced at $28 a box for a plain pie, we were satisfied overall. My son turned 15 this year and thought he wanted to do laser tag again until he saw paintball on the website. I arranged for a paintball party which took place at the Scholes st address. It was VERY DISORGANIZED! Initially the children in my party had to wait quite a while before they were able to go out and play their first game of paintball. They were hot in all of the clothing and getting antsy. After the first game they were able to have the pizza. Unfortunately, there was some confusion where the staff thought we were on our 3rd game of paintball because somehow another team went in our spot. (poor organization)  At this point I spoke with the manager, Diamond because I could see that there was not much time left and they hadn't played their 3rd game, and we hadn't cut the cake or sang happy birthday. She assured me that everything would be done and that they still had enough time. Although we had been given the ice cream cake, they were sent out for the second game, returned to the room for all of 5 minutes and then told to go back out for the 3rd game, with only 10 minutes left. (It was 10 minutes until the place closed) Our party was from 8-11. Their last game was cut short, we hadn't had a chance to cut the cake or sing Happy Birthday to my son and we had a limo waiting, which we paid for based on the time we expected the party to end. When I pay as much money as I did for this event to happen, I expect things to go as planned.  There were some errors on the part of the staff which caused our party to be rushed, and their final game was cut short. I feel that we are more than entitled to some amount of compensation because we didn't get what we paid for. Additionally, I felt that it is really unfair to only allow 200 paintballs per person to go with the package, knowing that the number of paintballs is insufficient for 3 games. Furthermore, forcing additional purchase of paintballs. We were advised to send an e-mail to an email address that they provided, with issues regarding compensation of any kind.  I sent an email on Feb. 3rd and have yet to hear anything! It seems like the e mail is a cop out just to get you out of their face. This also caused me to have to pay extra for the limo we rented because we went over our contracted time. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Had my brothers 12th birthday here for paintball with 12 other boys in the 6th grade. The booking process online was smooth, but I was met with a few other complications with the staff over the phone. Initially, I was informed I could complete certain booking processes such as a private room, and paintball add ins over the phone, but then I was told I couldn't by another associate when I tried to the next day. Thankfully, customer service over the phone was helpful. Day of the party, we had a few additional frustrations. Some staff seemed relatively annoyed during check in, however, the manager was very helpful and kind when addressing our complaints. Likewise, even though it would be assumed it was an all ages event space, some of the staff wasn't very patient dealing with boys our age (12 year old boys can get Roudy of course.) Ultimately, my party had a good time playing paintball, and the manager on site, Daniel, worked very hard to make sure that all of our complaints were heard and addressed immediately. Because of this, the experience was redeemed in my eyes, but I would be careful if you are planning a party for younger boys here. read more

LOL what a joke this place is. In no way is this an Adventure Park. It's a warehouse room with 6 activities and a snack bar. They made it look amazing on social media, as soon as we walked in we just had to laugh. Two of us paid $95 dollars for a slide, zip line, and a battle beam. That's all that was included for that price. So they make you pay for admission then pay for the other 3 activities, which are the arcade machines, a tiny skating rink, and an electric scooter for kids to ride around. By the way, there's like 10 arcade games there and 3 of them work, the rest will just steal your money. You can't even have a drink here, because there's no alcohol served here, and even though the website advertised BYOB, it turns out there is no alcohol allowed on the premises at all. There are about 10 things on the snack menu but only 3 were available, pizza, nachos, and hot dogs lol. This is the saddest place I've ever seen lol. Just don't come here. And don't believe anything you see on social media. I'd rather go to a Chuckie Cheese than come back here. read more

Decided to pay this place a visit after seeing all of the hype on Instagram. It took us about 15 minutes to be let inside on the adult night, which cost 50 dollars to attend. Their process needs to be revamped in order to properly accommodate customers and let them spend their limited hours actually having fun and enjoying the activities. While the activities were fun, they did not add up to a $50 value. Certain activities like the large slides are things that most people would really only do ones. We were so excited to finally checking this place out, a group of 9 on a Sunday. However, our jaw dropped as we entered. What it seemed like a playground for a bunch of 10 years old, it definitely was NOT what we had in mind. It was extremely loud, and we needed to be so careful and not be ran over by the kids everywhere. But did we have fun? Yes! The "ziplining"/Rope Course was quite thrilling and nerve-wracking even though it might look small in person. Most of us did the rock climbing, but I did not. Cons: The laser meze is just a small room, where you would need to complete a task in order to win. Not to mention that this isn't a grown adult's game, we think the buttons were defective. This was kind of dumb. The slides - We did not go on them, omg, so many kids, and so many boogers. The battle beam - while it looked fun on their pictures, there were just too many kids. And oh so many of them. Arcade!!!! - It is not included with your Adventure Park tickets purchase. Some of us bought credits for the arcade, and of course, 4/5 of their games were also defective. My husband and I saw Area 53 on TikTok and got sooooo excited to check it out for my birthday! However, given its price, it just seemed like an overpriced playground for 10-year-old children and their chaperoning guardians. It was extremely loud and we felt like we had to be careful not to be run over by kids everywhere! However, we had a ton of fun on the indoor ziplining/ropes course! It looks kind of small in person, but once you're actually hooked up and high up, it's thrilling and nerve-wracking! Although kind of small, we also enjoyed being able to roller skate and play some ping pong as well. Overall, it was pretty fun but felt way too overpriced and crowded! Echo many of the comments here and a bit of a shady business. Overpriced and might I say a bit of a scam. For around $50 entrance fee you get next to nothing and everything else is extra. We cane on 7/31/2022 and paid for 1 toddler and 1 adult. When we came in, the toddler section was closed and was told that she is too short to use the climbing section. We went back to the front desk to ask them if they can refund the entry fee as we can't use the park. They told is that we will be refunded but we just need to email first. This place is a scam. First, let's just say, we all probably know about this place due to Instagram or social media. We all probably share the same thoughts of curiosity,"Omg that place looks fun." However everything that glitters ain't gold. Over the course of 2 months, we planned a party here with hopes of partaking in all the fun advertised on IG. What better place to celebrate your 12 year olds birthday than indoor amusement park? I'm here to tell you that your living room would probably have better customer service. We tried to book a party online and the booking system never worked, it kept saying 'AVS MISMATCH'. Customer service kept ensuring us that our reservation would be good because they've been having a problem with their booking system, yet our reservation kept getting cancelled every 3-4 days. I'm a pretty reasonable person so I gave them the benefit of doubt and blamed it on the a 'glitch or something.' Well the day before our party our reservation was cancelled AGAIN. Then there were transactions being made and returned from my credit card consecutively. Like 6 or 7 different transactions. Which was very weird, due to my card being declined immediately when we tried process the deposit. I called, what I thought was customer service, again and the woman who answered the phone was so rude, negligent, careless, and blatantly difficult. I decided to just cancel my entire reservation and go somewhere else. If the customer service isn't great, I highly doubt the actual place is. If this how they treat customers trying to GIVE THEM $600-700, it says a lot about their establishment. Not one person apologized or tried to compensate us for the trouble for anything happening to us. We never got the chance to experience the space but from looks of the reviews, it's doesn't seem that great! If you're looking for a worry-free birthday booking BEWARE. Took my boyfriend here as a birthday activity (mid 20s). I found it off if tiktok and was a little nervous since some reviews weren't good. Firstly there were more people than I expected and definitely more children than I anticipated, however it didn't impact us at all. The only thing we waited for was our harnesses and that line didn't take long at all. The ropes course is a lot bigger than it looked and took us almost an hour to complete and the zipline was really fun. We did three different types of rock climbing courses, and there were about 4-5 courses left that we didn't do so there was definitely a big variety. After that we took a break to eat some snacks and play some arcade games. They offer things like pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, candy and a really large variety of ice cream. Just a heads up my magnum ice cream bar cost 6$!!! Although we didn't order, I saw a personal pizza is the size of a regular paper plate and is $9.80. A lot of people brought in their own food and drinks and I think that might be the way to go. You have to pay separate for the arcade games on a prepaid card. More than half of the games are broken or didn't work. Out of 6+ basketball hoops only 1 worked. Out of the 4 airhockey games 2 didn't work at all and one worked but it didn't have a puck. We did enjoy playing twister and skeeball. The laser maze was free and although we failed pretty badly it was fun. Finally we did the balance beam fighting. I think that was the best part of the night. My boyfriend really enjoyed knocking me off that beam with the inflated logs. They have 2 different ones, one where the beam is square and sturdy and the other when the beam is circular and spins. This was the only time where we had to wait for our turn to be be able to use the sturdy beam. We didn't do the roller skating so I can't say much on that but it did seem cool that they add a smoke machine intermittently. The ninja course looked okay, nothing really special so we didn't feel inclined to do that. I agree the staff all seemed pretty listless and there wasn't one set uniform of an easily identifiable color to be able to find a staff member easily. Overall I think it would be a great place for a children's birthday party. We had a good time but there was nothing there to make us want to go back. Although a lot of ads or videos show it as a date idea (and it was a great date) I think it would be more worth it to go on a Tuesday when it's 21+. read more

Came in for a date night! I purchased tickets online but it didn't seem to make a difference from purchasing online and in person. They do have lockers, bring your own locks if you do not want to pay $7 for a lock. When we came it was Adults Only night, BYOB!!! There's an obstacle course, as well as an arcade, rock climbing, roller blading, and slides. We did the obstacle course first to get it out the way because it got filled pretty quickly. Rock climbing was fun, they have about 3 different walls you can try. Some of the arcade games did not work but that's ok. The rollerblade rink isn't big so I would recommend doing it last or first. Their food was subpar ... the pizza did not taste good at all!!! the chicken tenders were fried hard& burnt, fries were hard as well and the carvel cake they charge $60 for was enough to feed barely 6 kids. With a party of almost 20 people this was definitely a disappointment of food service as they say you can't bring outside food and theirs is horrible. Their bathrooms had barely any soap and only two sinks out of five in the ladies room was working , security and supervision was not attentive as the bigger kids were in the ball pits throwing balls at the little kids faces and bodies and when told to stop they would disrespect any adult. The roller skating area only had one attendant and when the person left people was standing there waiting to return their skates with no assistance for at least ten minutes. This place is a kid's dream! But adults can have some fun here too! I came here to celebrate a friends 30th birthday and a time was had! While we didn't do some things that seem more kid friendly we went all in on the rock climbing, zip lining and suspended obstacle course. That's right the obstacle course is high up in the air and you have to go through it to reach the zip line. It's super nerve racking even though you are harnessed in. You have to balance and climb through different wire bridges, balance beams and tight rope like activities. Some I skipped over b/c it was just too nerve racking for me so if your afraid of heights I do not suggest this. The zip lining was fun, you swing around the facility which is huge! While theres no alcohol served they do have pizza, snacks, and drinks. I think theres also some special programming geared for adults on certain days but other than that it's definitely more of a kids zone. Honestly, one would think this place is bigger than what it is. It's not. However it is a nice time for the kids. Wednesdays are the best days to come; $50 to enjoy unlimited paintball AND the adventure park. (Usually they're both separate prices) you do have to purchase the game card if you want to play the arcade games. I think paintball is the highlight of this place! My boys stayed there for majority of the time. The staff in the paintball area are very nice and knowledgeable. They also give clear and concise directions for the kids to follow. For the price they offer 3 games within a 3 hour time limit, a vest, paintball gun, helmet, and a single bag of paintball. The paintballs are not enough to last 3 full games. Depending on your style of play you will be finished with your bag after the 1st round. Each bag of paintball is $12 or a case for $70. The case is effective if you visit with several friends or family but not good for single players. Some of the guns worked great but a few stopped working mid game play. This is when you are faced with a make or break decision. Should you run to the safety zone and get shot up to fix your gun or wait it out. Although I was faced with this decision during the last 20 minute King of the hill battle I had so much fun. Al the instructor joined the final game and he really added great commentary and game play! read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!! We celebrated my daughter's 16th birthday party here. First of all - it was extremely poorly ran via email and phone. No one communicates with one another and the "party deluxe room" and individiual passes are over priced. The party room includes NOTHING other than two tables and some fold-up chairs. The long lines for the kids are unreal. The room looks like a dirty boiler room. The entire adventure park side is so dirty and overcrowded. Looks nothing like the Instagram pictures. Don't get catfished please. The staff is so rude, nasty and unhelpful. We went on 2/4/2023. The worst part of all is that this was a warehouse ( which is fine ) but their HEAT was not working on a day it was 3 degrees. the COLDEST DAY! Why are you guys even open and charging people money?!!!! We got no heads up and drove two hours to this place. Our entire party was freezing with jackets on. No one even wanted to play. The food was DISGUSTING. Terrible cold pizza, stale hot dogs and pretzels. No ice. They were not selling the white claws they claimed to have per website. We spent well over 1500$ and did not even have food included in our package. I had no problem adding food- if we knew that. The staff is so ghetto and disrespectful. We tried to make the best of it. We had music in our room and some 14-year-olds break dancing (having fun) as we were doing cake (right before we left) -the security guard kicked the door saying he wanted to go home and we need to leave. There is so much more to say but please please do not ruin your kid's birthday here. This is coming from a person who was planning to have a birthday for my 16 year old and 9 year old with no budget. Went here for Adult Night and we had most of the place to ourselves since there were maybe 3 or 4 other parties. The ropes course is a ton of fun and so is the Ninja Warrior styled course. Definitely come here expecting to be exhausted but satisfied by the end of it. We opted to not drink prior to coming despite it being adult night, and that was the right move since there's so much movement involved. The music is okay, the arcade machines aren't really worth it, and the food is mediocre, but the rest of the activities are great. Bit pricey, but considering the what a day pass at a climbing gym or other ropes courses costs these days, it makes sense. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something fun for a birthday that involves activity/movement. read more

Such a fun place! There's a lot of people who came here as families or groups and/or couples. The price is well worth it if you're into adventure and an escape from the city but not too far from the city. My favorite was definitely the zipline aspect.
