Thanks for all the planning and hard work to construct the tournament range and the volunteers who put these events on. Fortunately the weather was great (not too hot). We had a great time in Simi Valley and looking forward to coming here again. Cell phone reception on the range is not too good although you can get a little bit of reception in certain spots, and it does work if you drive 5min into the surrounding neighborhood.

The staff goes over your eye orientation (whether right or left-eye dominant), provides you with an archery arm guard, and goes over the safety rules. They had multiple instructors who helped you orient yourself and your bow and arrows to shoot at the target. It felt like many directions, but as you go more rounds, your body and brain start to retain the information. I cheered when I finally hit the target! My only goal for the day, besides getting out of bed, was to hit the target! Maybe I didn't hit dead center, but an arrow (and even more arrows) made it onto the target! Yay! There is no good cell phone reception at the range where the public course is held, so if you're meeting anyone, try to make sure you decide where to meet beforehand. There is free parking on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. through a fence to your left, a little from when you enter the park. The public session costs $5, and you must sign a waiver. Bring cash, as, once again, you will probably have no cell service. Thank you to Kevin and the other instructors and staff who helped me patiently. I couldn't believe how quickly the two hours flew by. Everything was well-organized, and this is such an amazing weekly event that Conejo Valley Archers hosts. Thank you again!

Both the kids and the parents reported they had an amazing time. Jerry and his partner arrived on time, set everything up in time for the party, and managed the games with fantastic energy and organization. They kept a crowd of 20+ kids (and quite a few parents) engaged and entertained the entire time. The best part is that the parents had just as much fun as the kids! The games were a huge hit, especially parents versus kids. Several guests even asked for the company info because they were so impressed. It was a well-organized, reasonably priced event that was fun for everyone. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Ponti has kids birthday parties down to a science with different activities planned out that all the kids loved! Him and his team handled it all while we got to relax and chat with other parents. On top of that, we didn't have to worry about goodie bags because all the kids went home with a couple pieces of glow in the dark art that they made. There was a separate, and massive, room for food and drinks so when cake cutting came around it was so easy. Also he made setting up and packing up so easy. My son's aide (my son is disabled) said it could have been a casino given the smell. This was true for the two days he attended. We won't be finishing the week despite paying for it. Pretty sure smoking inside that building is illegal and definitely shouldn't be allowed right before kids come in. The instructor also left the room entirely several times for 15-20 min. While my son's aide was there, he is not an employee of the camp and should not be responsible for the other children present. Besides those issues, the camp itself was very underwhelming with minimal activities planned beyond drawing. We have done art camps at half the cost that put much more thought into it and didn't lead to lung damage from smoke inhalation.

The first day we did sword fighting and the instructors were very kind and helpful. Had a smile the whole time. Then we did a craft and that was a lovely, relaxing activity. The second day I was sad not to do more sword fighting, but the medieval dancing was possibly even MORE fun! The instructor for the dancing was so authentically enthusiastic and positive. We jumped and woo-ed and again, I had a big smile the whole time. Then more relaxing crafting. They also had good snacks. I'll definitely attend a future camp and maybe check out the weekly classes. Parking was easy. The space was comfortable. Everyone was very nice and positive. They also do birthday parties!!

I didn't really have an expectation going in to it, nor did I have a clue what the rules were like but I learned on the fly and enjoyed it. So fun! These girls were beating each other up for like a full hour. Tough females for sure! All respect to them, and it was super cold this night so it made it even more impressive that they could survive in 40 degree weather with tank tops and short shorts on hahaha. The game is easy to follow also, it's not complicated. They play music so you can get into it even more. The admission is only $10 and they have food and drinks right outside the venue if you feel the need at halftime. I'll definitely go back to support my friend's team and you should go check it out too! Btw my friend won MVP, she's like the Michael Jordan of this league. The one negative is the parking situation. We had to park about 3 blocks over on a residential street. But they have street parking if you can find it.

Because of my experience, my family has taken the matter seriously and is pursuing legal action. I understand others may have different experiences, but this review reflects my own. I also noticed that the center appeared to have a much lower Google rating recently, and the rating seems to have changed significantly in a short period of time. I cannot speak to the reason for that, but it stood out to me as someone following the situation closely. I hope concerns raised by students and families are taken seriously and addressed appropriately
