Such an amazing time with Area Archery. We decided to take the (1) hour class to begin learning archery. The training was amazing and the trainer continued to elevate our stance/posture/positioning in real time to get closer to the bullseye. Best part is we just had to show up! They had everything else that we needed. Highly recommend for all the adventurers wanted to take a class! 1 hour was great and worth the money, but I do wish we took the (2) hour class to shoot more arrows after all that we've learned! Cyril and Maria are wonderful people, and professional; they're very good about correcting your form without being intrusive. I've been wanting to try archery, but didn't know where to start. I looked up some websites in the San Fernando Valley. I found an archery location at Woodley Park, so I made few phone calls. In less than an hour Mary from area archery called me and sent me directions And instructions on how to sign up. I signed up and was on my way. She was very attentive and she really knows her stuff. I got better fast with Cyril and Maria coaching me on technique, safety, and the mental state to be consistent in archery. The equipment is well maintained- you don't need to bring any of your own kit. They teach at Woodley Park near where the 101 and 405 meet so it's easy to find with plenty of parking.
