Whenever I've asked her for help she's always been rude and condescending and even includes nasty facial expressions for the win. Horrible hostess! I came here to get my dip removed something that only takes 5 minutes took 1 hour. The hostess put my hands in a bowl & left me there for 30 minutes without checking on me when I finally asked her if someone could just file them she said they weren't coming off because I had gel she didn't bother to ask so someone came to file off the gel left and put me in the bowl for another 20min. Horrible hostess she didn't even check on me I had to ask again for someone to assist me. My hands are very sensitive and my skin was burning from being in the chemicals for longer than 45min. Total time to take off dip not even file was an hour. I just checked my credit card it looks like they added their own tip they charged me different than the amount I signed for. This nail salon is a prime example of what success will do to you. They continually over book and take walk-ins during the best of times that displaces there loyal customers. Being 5 to 15 minutes behind once in a while it's OK but being 30+ minutes behind when you made an appointment is unacceptable. I wish it was the first time that this has happened but it surely will be the last time. They have some great staff that are very skilled at what they do but unfortunately ownership and management is more focused on making money than giving a great service. I wish I had read some of these reviews as of late because they are clearly moving in the wrong direction and I would've made different choices. Made an appt online for my daughter to have her nails done on a Friday afternoon for her prom. She was seated immediately upon arrival and was done within an hour. She got a set of acrylics, with all gold glitter; she was fairly happy with her nails, especially the shape & length. She did, however complain about being cut a couple times & slight stinging/bleeding I was charged $46 for the set, with a $0.99 fee for using a card! The prices listed on the website and when making an appointment are inaccurate - $35 for new acrylic set glitter. I did not realize/remember the price difference until my daughter and I talked about it on the way home. We will not likely be returning. read more

Love Kenny for my SNS. He's super meticulous and personable. Christine is the best for pedicures! She puts some strength into her massage. My daughter loves Lisa for her eyebrows and SNS. The pricing there can get confusing and I always leave spending way more than anticipated. A lot more than the previous salon I went to, but their facility is really nice, clean and up to date and they always offer a bottled water. I went here after being told it was the best place in the area and. I should have walked out after being out in excruciating pain when having my dip nails removed. She didn't soak at all proceeded to use what looked like a piece of plastic to pop them off of that wasn't bad enough she actually tore half my nail off in the middle of my nail bed and acted like nothing happened I was in shock I thought I was maybe just being a baby but nope it was split she quickly glued on tips most which were too big for my nail I just watched in horror not knowing whether to stop her but me being polite sat there and just let her finish ... the polish job was half a** the shape way off I have since removed the nails properly by soaking and the nail I knew she tore looks awful and growing back in a weird way I should have spoken up but I also don't feel I should have to tell a professional how to do her job I won't return I also would advise people to look into other places who take their time to do things the right way .. attached is a pic of the nail she split that is trying to grow back read more

Ask for Tracey or Vicky if you're interested in getting dip powder nails! Tracey is gentle and takes extra care to make sure you get what you're looking for and Vicky is fast but precise. I've started doing dip powder instead of gel and they last a lot longer. Unlike gel, dip powder doesn't peel over time and the longest I've had them on for before they started falling off is 4 1/2 weeks. They generally start to lift after 2 1/2-3 weeks so keep that in mind. My nails are weak and brittle but with dip powder on, they stay strong and don't break. I have been going to this nail salon on and off (because I don't always get my nails done on a regular basis) for 3 years now. About 9 times out of 10, they have been able to accommodate me as a walk-in and I appreciate that, especially considering how busy they are on a consistent basis. The times I've been turned away, I didn't even mind. They have always been gracious and apologetic about it but they don't need to do that. It's ultimately my responsibility to make the appointment to ensure I get in. Anyway, I have had some nail techs that have done a good job on my gel or SNS dip powder manicures, but today's experience MUST be discussed! I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Rose. Right off the bat, she was very accommodating, asking if I wanted a cushion for my chair so I could be more comfortable. She was very friendly and chatty the entire time and equally important, she really took her time to give me a high-quality manicure. She filed my nails from the underside, ensuring they don't have that thick dullness and instead have the sharpness that would be more natural with untreated nails. She also slightly sculpted each individual nail to a narrower shape than what I had had from the previous manicure, which better complemented the shape of my fingers. She ensured the length of all my nails were even. Rose also explained certain steps she had taken during the manicure so I could understand the method. Wow! Between her time and care with the nail technique and her friendly customer service, I HIGHLY recommend asking for Rose next time you're seeking an SNS manicure. She was really top notch and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. There is another nail tech at Area One who also takes the time and care like Rose did but I can't exactly remember her name. Can't believe I haven't reviewed my beloved Area One!!! I've been here so many times I've lost count lol And every time I was happy! I love this salon. It's not the cheapest around but you are paying for cleanliness, new chairs, fancy decor and friendly faces. Which I think makes it worth it. Also they have the dip powder (SNS) which is a newer nail system that actually helps your nails grow longer fast because it have minerals in the solution. All of the nail techs do a great job, however Kevin is my favorite! He's very particular and is a perfectionist so if it isn't perfect he will automatically make sure it is without you even having to ask. He takes care of his customers, but you do need to make an appointment to see him. This salon is very clean and the chairs are comfy. The massagers on the chairs all work and they have a huge selection of gel colors and dip powder colors. Definitely my go-to salon!!! read more
