Johanna's lack of customer service set the tone for the entire visit My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen & are currently shopping for quartz countertops. We stopped in shortly after they opened during the week, thinking we would get the best 1:1 personalized treatment since it wouldn't be busy. Instead, when we walked in, we weren't greeted at all. We could hear 2 women chatting in the back & eventually they noticed us standing there, but the initial impression was already disappointing When we told Johanna we were interested in quartz, she simply pointed across the showroom & basically told us to go look on our own. No questions about our project, no guidance, no interest. This was the first place on our list so we were hoping for some expertise. She then reluctantly followed us over & just stared as we browsed, offering nothing in terms of information, pricing, options, or direction You would think someone in this business would engage with potential customers, ask about our remodel, & at least attempt to earn our business. Instead, we felt like an inconvenience We left shortly after, & based on this experience alone, we won't be moving forward with them. This will be my second purchase from Arena Marble. I bought tile from them before and now two Quartzite slabs. I shopped around to a lot of places and found that Arena had the largest selection of everything from Marble, to quartz to quartzite. You can't beat their prices also. They were by far less expensive than many of the competitors. I received personalized service from Johanna and Riza, the owner was always on hand, if we had any questions. It is a small business owner, which we like to purchase from, rather than the chain stores. We choose to use their installer and were not sorry. They sent us Melvin and his associate who did awesome work. They were diligent, cleaned up after themselves, timely and produced quality work. I'll start by saying I am not a contractor and know nothing about the flooring business and they knew this. I ordered tiles through them because they showed up as a local vendor who has the tiles I wanted for my multiple bathroom remodel. We spent approximately 15k. Not only did many tiles show up broken that we had to then wait for replacements on, which set back construction, but there were multiple problems with the orders. First, the bull nose they ordered only matched the floor tile, and not the wall, (the floor and wall tiles were both the same color but one was textured and one was smooth. They knew I was ordering bull nose for both.) Rather than tell me it only came in smooth, and letting me decide what to do, she ordered all of it and then when i called to find out why i wasn't sent bullnose for the textured tile, their "solution" was to have my contractors cut the tile to an impossibly small piece and just use it. I ended up having to find a generic finishing piece at the last minute. Second, after we finished construction we realized we had 27 extra boxes of floor tiles. I reviewed the invoice and it was a typo on their part. For literally 3 small stairs totaling approximately 24 sq feet, they sold me 240 sq feet. When I noticed the error and called to ask to return the excess tiles, they refused to take responsibility for the typo and instead blamed us and said no. It is about 2500 worth of tiles. There is no email discussing the sq footage of the stairs that I could find, it was just a phone call so they are saying it's on us when I know I did not calculate 240 sq feet on 3 stairs. I even sent her the picture of the stairs. Also, when I picked up tiles at one point, with a truck, their loader started loading the tiles directly into my truck (which would have caused them to break in transit). Their loader tried telling me the pallet they came on wouldn't fit in my truck. I said he was absolutely wrong bc I picked up a pallet of tiles 2 weeks prior in the same truck and it fit with lots of room to spare. In short ... horrible customer service and would not recommend to anyone! read more

I have been searching for stone for a while and this is a place that's close by. The thought of having to go in and deal with that main woman in the front office makes me cringe. She's rude, dismissive and passive aggressive in her comments. She acts as if she's doing me a favor and I won't find what I'm looking for. The man is better. Pros: people are nice and helpful, they have a good selection with ok prices. Cons: they do not have price tags on their non slab products which makes hectic and hard to make decisions. Also they have no return or high restocking fees for returning of tiles( I heard both from 2 different employees) , which makes you either buy more that what you need or buy as much you think you want and you might fall short and if you want more it takes a week to bring which is night mare if you have a contractor waiting for you in the middle of a project read more

We arrived at Arena after visiting other suppliers and noted the shortage of sales staff. However, we walked the warehouse and eventually were greeted and shown about. Sales person was knowledgeable and worked well with us. We received two full slabs of granite for the price of 1 1/2 slabs at a nearby sales location. Further, the owner waved a corner finishing upgrade price increase for us. Today, two weeks after purchase, I had to call and inform them when we tried to pick up our sink (from an appliance store) for installation it had arrived broken. Thus, we would probably be another two weeks before Arena personnel could arrive to take final exact measurements and cut our granite for installation. Sales rep was understanding and supportive and stated it would not be an issue for them. They were sorry for our sink issue. Great service. Can't wait to see our granite from Arena Marble & Granite. I met up with her and explained to her what I wanted and what my budget was. I am super happy with the granite that was provided to me and it is much more beautiful than I expected!! We visited Arena Granite several times in July 2014 even though there were some negative reviews in Yelp. Each time we were very satisfied with the help we received (even though they have limited staff and occasionally needed to leave us to assist another customer, they returned to check on us frequently which was not a problem). On the third trip we took friends with us since they too are remodeling a kitchen - and I have one more friend who I am planning to take to visit the gallery. The aisles in the showroom are wide, the lighting is good and the granite is easily seen. They were more than willing to move pieces as needed and to help match tiles for backsplash etc. The price for the slabs we liked was competitive and we ended up purchasing at Arena. Only two salespeople and both appeared to be preoccupied with other matters that were clearly more important than the actual customers who were in the store. We were extremely happy with regard to our Arena Marble experience. They have a large warehouse (across from Pacific Sales) with an excellent selection of materials and colors. The prices are very fair and clearly marked on each slab. They showed up exactly when they said they would, did great work, protected our floors and cleaned up after themselves. They did most of the fabrication in their shop or out side so we had almost no dust. The owner, Reza is a very nice guy and all his employees were terrific. Was verbally quoted a square foot price for Granite. When the estimate arrived, they either doubled the sq. ft. verbal quote or doubled the amount of Granite that would need to be installed. Obviously this place is going downhill if they need to overcharge to survive. In my opinion, the lady who assisted me had a personality of a rock. Guess that's why she works with Granite. I must say arena marble and granite was a pleasure to work with. I am beyond thrilled with my new kitchen/bathroom and laundry room granite! They had very fair prices and a large selection of slabs. They also did demo of my old tile countertops. They showed up on time, were very professional, and cleaned up afterwards. They worked till the job was done, 7pm! The craftmanship is suberb! Yes, front staff is only 2 people....but i didnt mind waiting for help. To me the actual install and end result is the important part. And they did an amazing job! I waited 10 minutes to talk to the lady at the front desk because of customers ahead of me (that I didn't mind), but when I got her full attention, she was rude and talked down to me. She made it seem like it was a chore to answer my questions and I probably had her attention for 3 minutes! Then a man came in, and she was itching to talk to him and help him. She moved on to him, and it was as if she was a different person. Laughing and talking to him so kindly and loudly. I was so annoyed! They had product in stock that I liked, but I decided to leave because of her rudeness!!
