When you walk into Argaus, you will be treated very well. They have sales people on the floor, but they do not try to oversell. They have designers and interior decorators who will listen to your likes and dislikes, ask the right questions, and make sure their furniture fits your space. Their furniture and hardware is very nice quality. While they tend to be on the cost side of furniture warehouse stores, they ensure quality products. We had a cushion that seemed to wear down much quicker than the other cushions. I called to order a replacement, and they asked me to send photos. I did, and there was a request for more photos with specific requests (hold a ruler up to the cushion, for example) which became tedious over time, but they agreed to replace it at no charge (3 years after we bought the couch.) read more

We purchased a floor item in the store that I went home with. Two days later i have a separate charge and when I called to question the second transaction the sales rep Jeff stated "oh I quoted you incorrectly so me and my manager charged you the difference". said manager is not in today. Talk about a bait and switch. I was never called about this and I will not be letting this go. I have a signed receipt for the charge I agreed upon at the time of purchase, yet the sales rep and his manager took it upon themselves to charge more after the fact. We recently purchased furniture from Arhaus for a ranch house we are building and are getting ready to style. We are so thrilled with the experience and wanted to write about it and share! We had bought furniture for our house in Austin previously (full living room set, kitchen set, outdoor furniture, rugs) and had a fabulous experience working with Susan on that design and furniture choices, so we sought her out specifically to work with her again on this project. Susan spent time with us talking about the overall style of the new house and what kind of vibe we were going for. We talked a lot about our own preferences and taste in design, different furniture styles and colors, and then walked through the entire store where Susan took the time to point out different options and offered her expertise on what pieces she thought would work together well and best fit the house. We then worked with Gracie to create a virtual image of the design in the space so we could envision exactly how it would all look. This was incredibly helpful. We couldn't believe how much her rendering of the space looked like the house itself, and helped us make the final decisions and add in a few more pieces to really pull the whole design together. Working with Susan, we never felt rushed and always felt listened to and heard. The result is a selection of furniture that will be perfect for the house: living room couch and chairs, coffee table, bedroom furniture for two bedrooms, and area rugs. When we worked with Susan in the past, she was there with us every step of the way, all the way through to delivery where she communicated with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure a flawless experience end-to-end. She is doing the same with this delivery, and we can't wait to see the final result! This business is a joke. Zero accountability, zero customer service. No one cares or takes accountability. Inept and arrogant. No other business would treat its customers with such disregard. But they will tell you they have a concierge... yeah right. Obviously concierge doesn't know how to measure and really has no interest in getting a problem resolved. Store manager apparently has no influence or input on their "concierge " again what a joke. No call back, no follow up. No interest that the couch you purchased has a cushion insert that's pretty much collapsed. I think I'm nearing a year for replacement. Go elsewhere for furniture. We ordered the Arhaus Coburn sectional on 11/20/20 and finally rec'd it on July 2021. We chose it for our empty nest family room because of the "durable, Crypton high performance fabric". We've only had it 8 months and have been VERY disappointed with the way the fabric on the seat cushions is holding up---see attached photos. Also, the inserts on the throw pillows are extremely thin. We have to use 2 inserts on each throw pillow. I contacted our sales person (who has been very helpful all along) and she recommended that we contact the Arhaus Concierge. I sent details and photos to the Concierge and they replied that "fabric is not a warrant issue" and proceeded to give me a lengthy explanation of what pilling is ----- and suggested I use a sweater shaver. This is beyond average "pilling"--- this is poor fabric quality. As for the flat pillows, they suggested I order more inserts! So basically, the Concierge was NO help at all--for an over $5500 sofa that we waited 8 months for. In the past, I've bought upholstered furniture from Mitchell Gold, Room & Board, Design Within Reach, Crate and Barrel and others.... this Arhaus Coburn sectional is the poorest quality of anything we've ever purchased---and the lack of remediation by the "Concierge" is terrible customer service. I will not purchase from Arhaus ever again and I intend to share my bad experience to prevent others from ending up in our situation----and maybe get more of a "response" from Arhaus. read more

Beautiful furniture, if you actually receive what was ordered. Horrible customer service. Incompetent designers. The worst experience. I have been waiting months for my furniture to be delivered due to the incompetence of a designer who entered all of the wrong measurements for my pieces. Finally, the one piece I have been waiting for was delivered this morning, only to find that this custom piece was also the incorrect measurement. I have sent back almost all of the furniture that was ordered due to wrong size, defective pieces, or wrong item ordered. They have not refunded my money for the pieces they already picked up and are not replacing. To refer to this business as a higher end furniture company, is an absolute joke. read more

I'm writing this review to let everyone know what a wonderful experience I had at Arhaus with Susan Wise at the Domain. I had recently purchased a house and did not have a lot of furniture to start with. I'm not much a designer myself, so the task of furnishing my new home seemed quite daunting at first. I initially engaged a designer for help with furnishing my home, but I quickly realized with Susan's help that I no longer needed a designer. Susan was able to talk with me and figure out what type things I liked, even if I thought I had no vision myself. Through working with her, I was able to discover that I actually did have a vision. Susan helped me select what I needed for my space to fit my aesthetic, color choices that made sense, and how things would compliment each other, and she made selecting furniture fun even though I was scared at first.. She graciously provided advice, not only on things I bought at Arhaus, but also on how other things that I wanted to buy from other stores would fit in. She helped to furnish my entrance, my living room, my dining and my master bedroom, and I am so happy with the results. My house is now my refuge! Through the process, I had received one item that was damaged and didn't notice until shortly after the delivery people had left, and Susan took care of that so easily that I never had to worry. She was right by my side during the entire ordering, shipping and delivery processes, making sure that my expectations were met and I was always kept up-to-date on what was going on with my orders. The entire process was so transparent in terms communication of the pricing, the sales and discounts that applied, the protection and warranties, and the delivery, that I have no hesitation at buying more things from Susan at Arhaus, and in fact, I'm about to order more right now! Everyone that comes to visit my home always has something to say about my space now that it's filled with beautiful furniture with the help of Susan. The experience I had being a customer with Susan was like no other experience I had at any other furniture store in Austin, and trust me, I shopped around at plenty of others. She spent so much time with me and I always felt I was a priority and that I would never be disappointed, and that was all true! I never dreamed that I would gain so much help with designing my entire space from a furniture sales person as I did with Susan, and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone shop at Arhaus with her for furniture. read more

If I need furniture, this is the store. The service is above and beyond and I highly recommend Gracey, their design specialist. I've shopped at Arhaus for several years and they are always accommodating to my expectations. I've read several previous reviews and it appears bad reviews are usually due to late product arrival. I know how frustrating this can be but I'm also aware that many of the custom pieces come from Italy as well as other countries. The pandemic has created many delays. We bought a new dining table, chairs and bar stools. Love the quality and design of all. The store staff was friendly and when one chair was slight uneven they notated it and let us keep it until a replacement was delivered a few weeks later. Super easy. The fabric care products have been great! I've used them multiple times to get orange cheese puff dust off our white fabric bar stools. Life with a 2 year old.. but able to have high quality products and keep them looking new. Buying 2 more of the dining chairs soon, a media table and bench for our entry way! read more

This is my go-to furniture store in Austin. My husband and I have moved to different houses and condos throughout the years and always change our style. Thankfully, Arhaus always has the coolest, modern and vibrant pieces of art and furniture, and it's hard not to buy everything in the store. The sofa we purchased from here has held strong for the last 5 years, and everyone compliments it! I recommend the Emory couch and if you have dogs/babies/messy in general, get the washable, slip covered fabric! What's great about Arhaus is that their couches have many options for fabric and it's a great price compared to other competitors. You can also change the fabric of your couch if it's slipcovered without buying a whole new one & it changes up your house dramatically! An absolute nightmare of a customer experience, DO NOT SHOP HERE! We went in person and chose a couch with a custom color and spoke with Susan about how we wanted the two cushion option instead of the 3 cushions since there was two on the back, so then it would match, she really wasn't getting it and her coworker even stepped in because she was very confused and then said she understood it would be two cushions. We also ordered an ivory cowhide rug to go with the couch. They told us it would take a few months to get our couch but then shipped the rug a few weeks later. Then after a few months we got the notification that our couch couldn't be delivered because we hadn't selected a color. Weird because we did select one over the phone after. Then they let us know it will now take even longer that they have the color. So we wait more and now finally 3.5 months later we get a couch and unwrap the rug r the morning it's going to get delivered. Only, it's a brown rug. We call and they say whoops, yeah looks like a brown rug we can send you an exact replacement but note it's out of the return period. Then the couch gets here and it's a single cushion couch. So we call, get some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced by the assistant manager Sophie. She says my wife signed for a bench seat couch so the best they can do is let us pay for a new order of custom cushions. They recognize that their employee heard and understood it was supposed to be for two seats but just kept saying they had a signed agreement so we could kick rocks. No refund, no working with the customer, nothing. In summary, go anywhere else, genuinely the company and this location in particular are awful and treat you like a bargain bin customer while demanding premium prices. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Stay AWAY! The furniture and quality are great as we have ordered many pieces in the past, but the Austin store is a mess. Every time we went, we had to work with someone new since 2 of the 3 people we have worked with have quit. Zero customer service, zero knowledge, and altogether an uncomfortable, catty sales environment that you can feel as soon as you walk in. The only reason I am bothering to leave a review is due to this experience- the last time we were in the store, two individuals that worked there were discussing who they could ask to leave a good review. I am sure this is to make up for all of the recent bad reviews. When I got on to leave this one, there have since been three "suspicious" 5-star reviews in the last week on google and one on yelp that I am pretty sure was by someone that works in the store. They are clearly trying to do damage control in the worst way, so dishonest and such a joke. All of the bad reviews are true, and now the good ones can not be trusted. BEWARE of warranty services on furniture purchased. First I must admit the actual store service was very good. I worked with a couple decorators ( Susan & Gracy) to help me choose furniture and I'd say they did a fabulous job. They get 5 stars. my disappointment came with the dinning room chairs I purchased and the warranty service. The cushions on the Noa chairs I bought sound like they have plastic lining in them because they make a lot of crinkling noise when we sit on them and ANY movement while sitting causes this annoying noise. we initially thought the sound was because they were new but it's been a couple years snd they are still very noisy. None of the dinning room chairs with upholstered seats I sat on in the Arhau store make this noise. Not One! We were told to call warranty and so we did. They sent a warranty technician to come take a look at our dinning chairs. The warranty rep Trimini Acevedo examined our dinning room chairs & determined the springs in our cushions were put in too loosely and therefore faulty...and he would request new cushions for chairs in his report I wasn't aware they had inner springs. However, in the end, nothing was done and Arhaus claims their warranty rep Trimini Acevedo did not request new cushions.Not sure why he mislead us. He will not return my calls and now I'm stuck with these defective cushions. If you use their warrant dept insist on the rep gives you a copy of the written report before leaving your home or you could end up being mislead like I was. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Arhaus because they do not appear to stand behind their furniture and reps don't seem to care about misleading customers. read more

We love Arhaus furniture and their workers are very nice to us. However, the weird competitiveness amongst the sales workers is super obvious and makes us very uncomfortable. It's unprofessional too. We have purchased a handful of pieces over the past few months. We go in and try to get out as quickly as possible - it's not our job to make sure we go to the same person every time. I guess if we had only put down a deposit instead of paying in full when we ordered, or occasionally were given updates without having to call and beg for one, it wouldn't be as bad. But unfortunately, they have had a considerable amount of our money for over 16 weeks now, and we still don't have a date for when we'll have our recliners. I'm not sure I even remember what they look like. Should we cancel? I'm not sure. One might say to not cancel this order for Our House at this point is one step beyond Madness. read more

Came in with my boyfriend looking at sectionals and apparently the salesperson Jeff didn't think we deserved to be in there. He asked us what we came in for and was very condescending. He followed us around the first floor and I let him know we'd tell him if we had any questions. Then we go up the escalator and turn around to see him behind us. Anything I touched he came up behind us to tell us what it was and the price. Trying to escape him we get back on the escalator to go down and he gets on directly behind us. Reclaimed and Eco-friendly furniture includes doors from Indonesian temples, copper dining room tables from Mexico, and upholstered furniture inspired by Europe, with some of it made in America. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and passionate about their product. Carla was especially helpful. Price points vary, as does sizing. Some of it would fit perfectly in a smaller apartment right here at the Domain, other pieces require an airplane hanger to give it room to breathe. It's a chain, but they are excited to be in Austin. Earlier this year I purchased two sofas and two chairs for our living room from the Austin store and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. I found the store to be very friendly. Susan, my sales associate, was wonderful. She is a first-rate designer, very knowledgeable about Arhaus products and easy to work with. I do not have a lot of natural confidence in my interior design choices and was probably needier than most (took me 6 visits to make final fabric selections). She was always patient, seemed happy to see me and kept me closely apprised of any activity related to my order. I highly recommend her. I received my furniture about 10 days ago (earlier than promised) and am thrilled with the quality -- straight tight seams and a great balance of comfort and support. I am still at the stage where I just sit in the room and look at it, feeling happy. The delivery process was well-managed and the delivery guys did a great job, moving the furniture around until I was satisfied with the placement. They seemed to be in no rush and ensured I was absolutely happy before they left. read more

I disagree with many reviews in regard to people being ignored when they come into Arhaus. To understand the store setup, there are two doors to enter, a front door and a back door. Arhaus becomes a thoroughfare since it makes it more convenient to go through the store than to walk around from one part of the Domain to the other side. So, it makes sense that every person walking through cannot be greeted. A good majority of the people coming through are only using Arhaus as a thoroughfare. With that said, I had the most amazing designers from Arhaus helping me. Teresa and Kristen are very attentive, extremely competent and have beautiful design ideas. They worked with me nonstop to find the right sofa. The quality of the sofas is outstanding. The fabric choices are excellent. And every single person I asked a question to there when Teresa or Kristen were busy were more than willing to help me. I definitely feel that the experience at shopping at Arhaus was nothing but positive. read more

Susan Wise helped us from start to finish, including furniture selection, all of the fabrics, down to insuring our delivery went smoothly when we were out of the country. Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Lina has been a joy to work with, the selection of items is extensive, the furniture itself is beautiful, sturdy, and well-built. We were able to track the order process online (since we had some custom items), delivery was quick and painless, and the delivery people were very polite, as well as extremely careful with our new items and our existing walls and furniture. We did have a couple of minor issues with 2 delivered pieces, but the furniture repair company they contract with did a fantastic job of taking care of the issues. 5/5 would absolutely work with Lina and Arhaus again. Time is valuable... and I wasted precious time in this store. I have visited this store twice before and on both occasions was never greeted, or assisted. Most of the furniture looks great. My family and I were looking to furnish a home that is currently being built, and being that we were at the Domain, decided to give Arhaus a second chance. Big mistake. We walked throughout the store's first and second floor and saw more than one employee, yet were never greeted or asked if we needed assistance. Arhaus is the perfect place for that "Dressed Up Eclectic" interior. We have purchased several utilitarian pieces (desk and table) that are fantastically constructed. These items will live longer than dirt. Though recently, pillows I brought home had to be returned due to the down insert flattening. Jason has been my "go to" guy since he solved a difficult delivery issue for us. Because of their popularity, some items do not ship on time and that was almost a "no go" for us. I tend to remember helpful, talented people and he is that. Do ask for him if you go in. read more

If I could do no stars I would! This place is awful. They told me I would get my couch in 8 to 10 weeks when I ordered it 4 months ago! I am constantly calling them to get updates and I get a new promised date every time, the date rolls around and guess what no couch. Manager clearly doesn't care as by the other reviews. It's basic customer service to update your clients especially if there are delays and yet I am the one always calling. I expect much different service when spending thousands of dollars on furniture. I purchased a couple of items that would be ready for in-store pick up within a few weeks. They came in on time, but a message was left on my machine that I had only 7 days to pick up from the store. NO mention of this when I ordered, which seems like a glaring oversight and a potential real problem. So I called to arrange to pick up, and was put on hold for 10 minutes!! When a person finally came on the phone, she said, "Oh, what store do you want?" as if they have some huge call center in Dubai or something. While the store had very beautiful furniture, the sales staff were super weird. They're definitely pressured to sell a lot of furniture. The guy who helped us followed us around the entire store. I can ignore that at first, but it was a big store, 2 levels, and it started to get super creepy. She's not only an incredible designer but very professional and so nice to work with. Will definitely recommend Ananda and Arhaus to others in the future. Not at the door, not up at the cashier counter where we grabbed a catalog, not upstairs, not over at the fabric swatches... Let me preface by saying I haven't purchased anything from here. However, after walking through this store, I really like their ambiance and selection of furniture! They have a wide variety of styles, from rustic wooden tables to more modern copper or marble ones and what's better is that everything is customizeable! Their selections will definitely help add character; however, be prepared to spend some money as their furniture is very expensive. The only thing I did not like and will advise is to be careful of the sales reps on the floor. Twice I had stopped just in awe of how much I did not like a particular item and a pushy older saleswoman would stop and tell me how great it was. I'm not so easily flattered or fooled: fortunately, one of the younger staff, Mika, was on the other side of the spectrum and made me feel much more comfortable browsing and asking her questions. read more

I went back because of the pictures I saw via my partner and was quite intrigued. I decided to go based on the pictures I saw and the customer service he received. I was told this individual was "outstanding, patient, knowledgeable, personable and very professional with great design sense." I figured this I had to see for myself. A couple of weeks later I finally was able to get into the store. I was completely welcomed by Lina Ahmed. Lina was the Sales Executive that helped my partner and was told she was OUTSTANDING! Arhaus is the worst furniture retailer we've ever dealt with. Before you purchase, the customer service and friendliness is great. But it changes after the purchase is made. We've ordered over two dozen pieces of furniture from this company since May. Five pieces have arrived damaged. The local Austin store has been good about agreeing to replace the items but the follow up and communication with us has been less than satisfactory. We still have one damaged piece that they have agreed to replace but when we call, the delivery date continues to be pushed back. No follow up on their part! No communication. I called the corporate office this morning to voice frustration regarding my issues. They said they are working on the communication part of their business.
