I purchased a sectional and the protection plan (DO not waste your money!!) I called to tell them I to tell them I had an issue with the cushions and some stains (should be stain resistant and if they don't come out you supposed to call right away to get somebody to clean it as part of my protection plan). After a few months of back and forth phone calls (since they don't communicate or return your calls and their website is always down!!) they informed me they won't cover the stains since is wear and tear. Wait! So why do I purchased the protection plan??? "Ooh! And the cushions will sink and it's not cover" (after 1 year) I call the store, the company, and everybody I could contact (it was not anymore about the stain it was about the principle). No calls back. BTW....their fabrics are not good and not stain resistant. And they are expensive furniture!!!!! Never again. And good luck getting somebody to help you.... Product is fun and unique and while the price is a little above average, the wow factor is what you get. I am an interior designer and love bringing clients here. Sarah is really helpful without being pushy and has been our main point person throughout this process. I've also had some interaction with Christian who is very friendly as well. This store has the worst customer service I've ever experience. I ordered a banquette that was made twice with the wrong dimensions. They were basically going to stick me with it after the second one came. The lack of communication of issues between the store and the concierge service was ridiculous. I finally got a refund after spending hours on the phone fighting with them. The store manager had such an attitude and was little help. I ordered the original banquette back in July and finally received my refund in January which didn't come all at once. I had to contact them again because the first refund was only partial which the manager never return my email but I did finally get it. read more

Terrible customer service and lies at every step of the way. We purchased the Kensington 86" table in March, and we still have yet to receive the furniture as of typing this review (August 15th). When we made the purchase, we were told the table is on back order, and wouldn't be available until late June or early July. Ok, we can live with that. We understand that we ordered a popular item that is built from quality materials, so the wait was OK with us at the time. When it finally came time to schedule our delivery, we were told that it would be another 2 week delay because the delivery company is "super busy" and we live in an area that they don't regularly service. As the cherry on top, the delivery company called the day before delivery was to take place (on August 1st...so much for late June, I guess) to inform us that the table didn't pass inspection, and it would need to be returned to the manufacturer. In Ohio. Today, after my repeated calls to the concierge team, we received word that we will receive the benefit of "expedited delivery" and will have our table delivered on September 1. 2 weeks is expedited? Seriously? Arhaus, their "concierge" team, and their delivery contractors (MXD) have failed us at every step of the way. Every single promise to call us with updated information has been broken. Every timeline related to delivery has fallen apart. They have taken several thousand dollars of our money, and they have us bent over a barrel, yet they are unable or unwilling to live up to their end of the deal. The concierge team is worthless. The Thousand Oaks store staff could seemingly care less about our situation, as they only refer us back to the concierge team for problems or questions. The MXD people are completely worthless. We have been assured some type of compensation for our troubles, yet anyone at Arhaus is unwilling or unable to provide the details of said compensation until after delivery is complete. Ugh. I promise that I am not embellishing or creating a story line that never occurred. I further promise that I am a disgusted customer that is fed up with this terrible customer service. We will NEVER give this company another penny of our money, and I will do my best to ensure that none of my friends or family spend any of their money here, either. read more

Great service before you pay-not so great after. delivery date not as verbally promised by 1.5 months small print promise late by weeks, no return phone calls, chairs delivered with wrong material- more waiting. I rarely leave reviews but I am compelled to leave this one. I recently purchased a sectional sofa from Arhaus in the Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks. It was promised to be delivered in 4 months, but took 5 months....and I paid $199 for what they said was a white glove delivery service......turns out the delivery service was more like black hand rather than white glove. They unloaded and unwrapped my white, high dollar sectional on the road in front of my house and left all the cushions in a pile on my floor. There were dark smudges in several places on the sofa from the delivery people. Arhaus concierge arranged for a repair service to contact me about cleaning, but the company they use happens to be located in Paso Robles....not close to Thousand Oaks. 3 weeks after my sofa was delivered they offered a date to come clean it.....3 weeks more in the future.....but that particular date didn't work for me. The next available date was another 3 weeks.....for a total of 9 weeks after delivery. Turns out their cleaning service only comes to the Thousand Oaks area every 3 weeks. I have had much better service from Living Spaces and Macy's than I have from this high quality furniture store. I will think twice about purchasing anything else here in the future. read more

This review is long overdue. I bought our living room furniture almost a year ago. We had some issues with the Remington sofa and swivel chair. It was very frustrating, but with the help of Christian and Antonio, those issues were taken care of. They were the reason I gave Arhaus 4 stars instead of 3. We loved the pieces that Christian and Antonio recommended. When they both came to our house for the design consultation, they were genuinely involved in picking the best furniture pieces for our space. They gave us a beautiful inspiration board. Their eye for design is fantastic and they have superb customer service!!! When we visited the store, we were just looking for a sectional sofa, but this fantastic duo gave us such beautiful pieces to consider, that we ended up buying a coffee table, buffet, chandelier, two rocco chairs, and a rug. I know Antonio is no longer with Arhaus, but Christian is equally as great!! We are thankful we had Christian and Antonio as our design consultants and will recommend both of them in a heartbeat!! read more

Fantastic experience! It started with Susie, my sales consultant, who was very helpful, fun personality and definitely NOT overbearing! Then onto their delivery process which was amazing! Texts and phone calls to verify when it would arrive were right on...when they said what time they would be here, they were here! The delivery men were great as well. I came in looking for some bedding and some items for a move to Northern California. First I was greeted by Shannon who was very friendly then Bryan came to help me with the bedding. After some research Bryan told me I could have the floor models at a discounted price (yahoo!). Both he and Shannon worked together tearing the beautiful display apart to get me the bedding! Forgot to mention I needed everything for a move in a week and a half!! Then I found a couch and Bryan with some research was able to have the couch delivered to our new home up north when I needed it! I LOVE this store! The furniture is gorgeous and sustainable too... not the made in China junk like so many other stores... from farmhouse to modern this is something for everyone. I have only had a fantastic experience here at Arhaus. Chris Myers has been my personal contact & design consultant both for me and other members of my family and he has just been so wonderful, so personable, helpful & kind, even taking the time & interest on his days off to eagerly assist me and perform work related duties, including making the necessary phone calls, to acquire whatever help & answers I needed. I have purchased multiple pieces from Arhaus--from bookcases, to gorgeous leather & brass furniture pieces, to accent pillows and throws--and I am absolutely thrilled and have thoroughly enjoyed my times spent here both with Chris, and Mark Haney. I don't know about the value of the other reviews because my experience has been nothing but five star in customer service and product quality & craftsmanship. Needing to replace some furniture destroyed in a fire, we were lucky enough to find Chris at Arhaus. He was the silver lining to the smoke cloud!!! He was so warm, friendly, helpful and knowledge about all the merchandise in the store. He has great taste and was able to guide us to the perfect items. We loved several throw pillows, but decided to wait. Well... I received a call from him the other day to say that the pillows had gone on sale so he put them aside! We purchased bedroom, dining room, living room furniture and chandeliers. We are very pleased with the quality of the products. You should wait for their sales and take advantage as the prices can vary and are not the lowest in the industry. I do feel though you are getting what you pay for. A huge plus for Arhaus is their customer service. Each person in the store was very helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. We did have a problem with the original couch we purchased. Love the furniture selection! Modern, classic, unique designs. High quality items at good prices. I recently purchased a chair and some other items. Our design consultant, Christian, was fantastic! He came to my home with multiple samples and swatches. He offered several suggestions and helped pull it all together. I went back again this past weekend and Christian remembered our home so was able to help answer our questions and provide guidance. Looking forward to bringing more pieces into our home. If I could give no stars I would. I read everyone's 5 star ratings and they were very accurate with what they said. The show room is beautiful. The sales reps are friendly, welcoming, and they keep their distance until needed. What no one has said, and if you read other review sites, once you get the furniture it's not what is is said to be. The couch we bought, which was $5000, is constantly wrinkly and the fabric balls. Which by the way they advertise and swear it does not do. We have owned it for a year now BUT I called 5 months after purchasing because it started happening immediately. They said there is nothing they could do about it and I could purchase covers for the cushions at my discretion. I said ok and asked for the pricing. Just for two covers..TWO, it will be $1200. That gives me four more to replace. Absolutely indescribable at how bad this company is and how they lie to sell their products. If you look on twocents review site they have many problems from all over the country. We will never buy from them again and we don't ever recommend this place to anyone if you actually want a good product. If you don't care then go for it read more

Arhaus at The Oaks is a very beautiful and well designed store! The design staff always makes sure that they can accommodate all of your needs by going above and beyond, searching other stores and checking all inventory. The quality of the furniture and even small decor pieces last a lifetime since they are handmade with care; I have so many pillows, candles and mirrors I don't know where to put them all in comparison to other competitors where they last a month maybe. It was my first time shopping this store and I was very appreciative of the time Margaret spent with me to see the entire store as well as their catalog. I ordered over the phone after my first visit and Margaret was very thorough and made sure my order was placed correctly.
