A Korean bakery is a first for me but with French influences, now that's unique. Paris Morning a Bakery/cafe serves up sweet and savory Korean eats. The cafe/shop is a decent size, has good natural lighting and a simple but nice decor. The service was great. Even with the name/card tags on the sweet (Korean/French) bakery items, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, so I was thankful for the friendly and helpful service. The sweet bakery items are individually wrapped, placed in their perspective baskets and laid out on a long table. After many questions asked & patiently answered, I selected four sweet bakery items and an iced latte, all to go. The iced latte was good in taste, size and price. But sadly out of the four bakery items I selected I only enjoyed one. The dongle morning bread. The bread had a tasty vanilla, almond flavor and the strawberry jam & cream filling slathered in the middle was perfection. I purchased a small size but next time it will be the large. Great for breakfast, snack, or dessert. The blueberry cream cheese bread had no sweet flavor at all and the filling to bread ratio was off for me. The sponge cake was not spongy at all. It was not sweet and had a dry texture. And lastly the sweet cream bread was my least favorite. The texture and flavors are not for me. In addition to their sweet bakery treats they offer a variety of other items. They have savory bakery treats, beautiful cakes & desserts, bingsoo (large shaved ice treat with toppings) & zingsoo (bibimbop/ bulgogi). The Davie location is nicer than the one on University Dr next to the Korean Market in my opinion. I've been to both but the Davie spot has really cute decor and seating is better. Not to mention the Studio Ghibli music playing really made it a cute cafe experience. As for food, both locations have almost the same selection of bread buns both sweet and savory. They also offer rice bowls with bulgolgi, pork and eel. There are a lot of tea and coffee options as well as smoothies. The service is a bit slow, usually there's only two people working and when I went one was packing buns so really it was only one person working on the drinks. I ordered a lavender milk tea without anything in it. I love it!! Not overly sweet and has a mild floral taste. My favorite buns are the pizza sausage onion bun with has round sausage pieces and a lot of cheese and onions in the center with some tomato sauce drizzled across the top. The ham and cheese toast is delicious. Nice thick toast loaded with cheese on top and inside with a thin slice of ham. I also tried the hamster bread which has a sweet chestnut center but it wasn't very flavorful. Very cute though! The hot dog pastry was very good. I live across the street and kept procrastinating about coming here. Friday nights I am ready to pass out at 9pm so I usually need some caffeine. I went here for iced coffee and let me tell you, OMG!! This was the BEST iced coffee I had in a while!! The coffee had so much flavor and it was strong, which I really liked. They have several options for milk. Coconut, almond, soy, and regular. I chose almond and put my own stevia in (I'm diabetic so I'm very particular about my sweetener lol). There is a sign that says pastries are 30% off before 11am and after 8pm maybe? So we browsed whatever pastries were left because it was closing soon. I picked up the chocolate croissant and my hubby got the cream puff. Now I can only review my pastry because uh hem, someone scarfed theirs down before I was able to try it!! The chocolate croissant was delish! Not over bearing with chocolate and the croissant tasted like a croissant should taste!! The concept is a little confusing. So the name has Paris in it. The pastries are French. But there are Asian fruit drinks and bowls. They all looked tasty though! I indulge every once and a while with non diet apple drinks but I couldn't understand the language for carb content! The woman who was at the register was really personable and friendly. She was suggesting her favorites to customers walking in and was knowledgeable about the menu items. I am not sure if someone trained her or she is naturally this good, she was complimenting customers. Boy do I love this bakery. I picked up three different birthday cakes from here just in the month of December. SO GOOD. I have tried their milk tea/boba, custard bread (I don't know what it's called specifically), and a few other pastries. They were all amazing honestly I have no complaints. The cake here is so fresh and fluffy and light. Unlike some cakes that are diabetes-inducingly sweet with mostly frosting (which is so unhealthy in my opinion), the cakes here were so well balanced in their level of sweetness and frosting. The presentation is also so lovely and I love the addition on fruits on certain cakes. I have tried the fresh cream cake, chocolate cake, and red velvet cake. They are all so incredible. I swear everyone who tried these cakes for the birthdays had such great things to say about it and I have already recommended this place to so many friends in south Florida. If I'm being honest, this bakery has probably the best cake I've ever had. 10/10 I am absolutely obsessed with this bakery. You have to try it!!!!! read more

I'll have to say not the best but not the worst.. after dinner we dropped in for macaroons and coffee. I've I can get picky with my macaroons at times as my introduction to them was when i was in paris and i couldn't get enough. They are definitely going a different route with theirs as one of the flavors was fruiti pebbles. this matched the theme of a couple of other flavors as well.. All the breads and baked pastries looked amazing but we didn't get any. In the end I wasnt crazy abount my coffee... tasted like it had been brewed for too long.. and the macaroons were ok but, tbh the ones at whole foods taste better and have better ingredients.... but the service was great and i loved the look and feel of the space... so on next visit I'll probably try a pastry or their korean inspired bibimbap bowls read more

This has been one of my favorite study spots for years. There is food and really nice tables to sit at. Pistachio Latte - This is my go to coffee drink here! It's so good! It's one of the best pistachio drinks I've ever had Taro Boba - The texture of the boba had improved in the past couple years! I used to never get the boba here because it was too soft for me. Taro flavor was good! Remember to check in every time you visit with your phone number at the register to rack up points. I've been going here for a few years. I have tried their Bingsoo and rice bowl in the past. They were not my favorite but I might give it another try since the boba has changed. read more

After hearing many positive things, I called ahead to order a cake from this bakery. Upon walking in, there is a small assortment of different baked goods, as well as a display refrigerator. There was nobody else in the store, so I was helped immediately. I ordered the green tea/matcha cake in the larger size. First off, I was incredibly impressed with the packaging -- the cake was placed on a gold plate, and the contrasts of colors was beautiful. The cake was topped with grapes, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. However, it was missing a macaroon, as shown in photos and written in the description. The cake was very soft/airy, but the matcha flavor was faint. I especially enjoyed the cream on this cake; it isn't too sweet like typical American frostings. The reason for my three-star review is the price, which was around $33 with tax. The cake itself is ring-shaped, or baked with a hole in the middle, so the amount of cake was minimal -- just enough for 6 - 8 smaller slices. I wasn't able to tell if the matcha used was of high-quality, especially since the flavor was so faint. Since there are a few Asian bakeries in South Florida, I would prefer exploring other options before returning to Paris Morning. read more

This place is a very cute bakery/coffee. They offer a wide variety of drinks, including coffees, espresso drinks, teas, bubble teas and hot chocolate(which is great). They also have all kinds of baked goods. In the evenings the baked goods are even on sale! Their ginger tea is great, nicely sweetened. Their espresso is good, I like it a bit stronger than how they make it, next time I'll try an extra shot in it. The prices are decent, better than Starbucks The dining area is clean, and nicely decorated. It's a great place for a coffee date, or if you need to get some work done. Can anybody say study hour? With sunlight and a separator makes this joint a descent place to study. Although I find better productivity in other places my family and enjoy coming to this joint for our late night sweet tooth needs. Keep in mind in Korea, Paris bakery's are seen as the best baked goods a person can get their hands on. Although this joint has macarrones and descent lattes/ cappuccinos this is a KOREAN bakery. My daughter cant live without her red bean pao's, my husband cant get over the lightly sweetened (beautiful) cakes they have, and all of us love their bing soo!! Paris morning is also home to Zipbop which reminds me of a Korean Chipotle. The only thing that makes this place undesirable is the service. Granted I usually only stay a few minutes each time as I wait for my order, but there's usually a few other patrons inside hanging out. Over the past year I have had their pastries here and there (i distinctly remember a chocolate croissant but it had a cream filling which was a little unexpected). I'm very particular with pastries so while these aren't usually my go-to's for sweets, they are still a good accompaniment for a tea or coffee. Since discovering Paris Morning I've always ordered their passion fruit jasmine bubble tea, and it has easily become my favorite place in the area for satisfying my craving for it. If you come between 9- close, its 50% off their breads (without the black sticker). It's little pricey for their baked goods, but also hard to find Asian bread in general in South Florida. Came on a Sunday night around 6 and there weren't many bread bread options left- they didn't have anything savory. Got their cream bun and egg tart. The egg tart crust was pretty thick. Overall, taste is pretty standard, not amazing but good. Would come back here to study probably. read more

Small little French bakery that has plenty of sweet treats to sample. Today my intent was to come here for bing sooo because I was craving it and it's been awhile. But they ran out of ice cream but that's ok because it gave me the opportunity to try something new. I got their black milk tea with bubbles. It was very exquisite in taste...I can really taste the tea. I feel that it would be better if you got it without tapioca though just because the cups are kinda small and you're really just chewing the whole time I am still very unclear to when bing soo will be back up. The employees said "we should be having a shipment sometime this week" .... But it is definitely a great dessert to share. Loveeeee this place. It's a great place for a sweet treat and good study or working remote environment. I mostly come here for the bubble tea and hot matcha lattes (the best I've ever had). Today I ordered the pistachio smoothie with boba and it was delicious! They have amazing chocolate croissants, the inside is so soft and creamy. I come every week and usually the bubble milk teas are up to par except for one time it was inconsistent. I like it sweet and I think only one of the girls actually know how to make it. I love that they added new drink flavors but I also wish they would sample it out because what if it's not we wanted... we pay like $5-6 to try and if we don't like it we throw it away. It's happen a lot so I just stick to black milk tea, the most simplest drink. Another thing to add is, they use to give us lids for our drinks but now they went back to the plastic seal and sometimes it's not secured as the actual lid. From the name I believed this was French Bakery. It isn't. When you walk in you will see a table of pastries wrapped up in cellophane all sitting out in baskets. They look great. However, I was concerned because in most French Bakeries pastries that have cream in them are refrigerated. These aren't. I thought maybe this was a Covid thing- that everything was individually wrapped but it isn't. That is their norm. The pastries I purchased- a chocolate croissant a butter croissant and a blueberry and cream pastry were ... well not in the least like French pastry. They could have been made at Costco. I was disappointed. They weren't bad. They were just ... okay. And the cream in the blueberry and cream pastry is not cream. Not sure what it is buttercream icing maybe? Ordered spicy pork and it came with spring mix next to it. 1/4 of spring mix is mushed and rotten. Took it back to the counter and told them it's not eatable. No apologies of course. The girls asked carelessly if I want it remade. My daughter was so hungry I asked them to replace the salad. Over all taste and quality of food was very disappointed. She had a few bites and didn't want it anymore. I tried a piece and the meat was stale. Then we tried the red bean bingsoo. After we ate about half of the bowl i felt a hair in my mouth. Pulled it out and sure enough it was a piece of grey hair. We paid about $30 for these 2 dishes and dropped our spoons and left. Love this place! So many delicious pastries and desserts to choose from. If you go after 9pm, a large number of items are 50% off. Great way to stock up and have with coffee or tea in the mornings. Had no idea this place existed and I'm in this area all the time. It's part of a strip mall on University, but the signage is pretty small and the shops are all kind of tucked in, so unless you're an explorer you wouldn't easily find it. Anyway, after finding them through Yelp and seeing the cute Hamster bread, I knew I had to go. I didn't even care if the Hamster Bread tasted awful. I just wanted to see it in real life. Fortunately, it doesn't taste awful. It's not my favorite thing, because I'm generally not a fan of bean paste desserts, but the bread is soft and I did get a few bites in. I also took a buttermilk bread loaf to-go and O-M-G, that was gooooood. Slightly reminiscent of a Cuban pan de Gloria, but sweeter. This bread was so soft and fluffy, I loved having a slice of it on its own. I'd go back just for this bread. Their cake display is super impressive. Cakes are uniquely decorated and look very soft and jiggly (ha). I'll be trying some of those next time too. There were a couple of people working inside, so if you're looking for a quiet and cute cafe to do some work at, this place might be a good choice. read more

4/10/2017 - I really enjoyed coming here. The ambience is cool, eclectic, and calm. My eyes were going everywhere to their cute tables and chairs to the decor. I ordered a hot Cafe Latte. The young lady in the counter said she would bring it to me. I sat on a table by the window and within a few minutes I had my coffee. The only thing I would of liked would have been a ceramic cup, not a to go cup. But it was fine. The coffee was good, not spectacular. After being there a while, I went back to the register and had a bottle water (they have Evian, Fiji and Sparkling) and 5 of their delicious looking macaroons. They are my favorite!. They are $2 a piece. I had the grape, strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and green tea. They are fresh tasting and my favorite was the green tea. I would definitely come back here to try more of their coffees and drinks and their bingsoo. Nice place for a study group, friends gathering, or just enjoying by yourself. read more

I'm not entirely sure how to describe this place. I think it's a Korean, French bakery. There were Korean bowls and lots of yummy breads and other sweets. We tried some rolls with strawberry in the middle, a strawberry macaroon and a chocolate macaroon. They were incredible! We also had the hot chocolate and latte with almond milk, both were great. I can appreciate the ambience and selections. Been getting pastries and breads here intermittently over past 6 months. Both were as described by others. Bubble tea good...Pricing, similar in the area. So...to the not so positive review. Management. Came there with another family today. Four 8 year old girls. Ordered 5 teas, one to go for the brother at home. One of the girls was upset and didn't like the flavor. We didn't ask for exchange refund etc. Anyone with kids can relate. Other dad, above and beyond went to get her one she liked from another shop. Brought Joy to her and the overall experience for the girls when he returned. Mgr walked from back and told the dad they couldn't have outside drinks in here. Honestly no conversation needed....I won't and can't relate to this kind of stupidity. The cakes look beautiful although I've never tried them. Service is friendly. Clean and nice place. 4stars for that. But the things I've ordered .. 2 stars Everything I've ordered here is INSANELY sweet or just too processed (like the packaged stuff) it doesn't have a fresh baked feel.. it tastes like it was in a box of 10 and taken out and individually wrapped .. croissants that are spongy and soft for example, not crispy flakey and buttery. The cake pops are waxy and just TOO sweet. Macaroons too sweet. I ordered a matcha and asked prior if it's sweetened .... they said no.. when I got it and took a sip I was punched in the throat with sugar ..So sweet I could not even bare to take another sip. I usually go to the tamarac and boca location since they just opened near me. I really enjoy coming here. It's a relaxing place to come and hang out. Right when you walk in there are tables in the center with baked goods, so much varies so you can choose from. They provide trays and thongs so you can select what items you want. Like have so much assortments to chose from, they have bubble tea, hand craft cakes (my all time favorite is the red velvet), shaved ice cream (bingsoo). It's quite a little gem! A friend once got a cake from here and it was delicious. I drove by today and realize that they also have teas and pastries so I stopped by. I got the lychee tea with the mango popping pearls. Sinfully delicious cakes at Paris Morning Bakery! This Korean bakery, with a French influence, churns out some delicious baked goods and cakes! The cakes are what normally draws me here as they are artistically outstanding, light, fluffy and not nearly as sweet as your typical over the top, too sweet, western style cake. All these reasons described make the cakes here a great alternative to the norm. Recently purchased the "Chocolate Dust" cake for a friends birthday and it was absolutely delicious, as said, light, airy and the perfect level of sweetness! Some of the other bakery options available are cream puffs, chocolate croissants, egg custard buns and more; all freshly baked each day, individually packaged and oh so good! Get here early though as things quickly sell out. As well as baked goods and coffee, Paris Morning Bakery also serves up some traditional Korean comfort food type dishes, such as Bulgogi and Eel with rice and also Boba Tea. Regret not taking more pictures here but in the excitement of being around delicious food and cakes, it slipped my mind. In spite of its clearly misleading name, this is a Korean, and not French bakery. Like many bakeries in Korea and Japan, you have a variety of baked goods at a central table you can select yourself and place on a tray with your thongs. Moreover, great assortment of beautifully crafted cakes (soft, not too sweet, delicious) and bingsoo, korean shaved milk (that's right, not shaved ice, shaved milk).
