This company is a Con contractor. They fool the home owner to replace wrong parts. Beginning estimation started to replace Ignition in $1971 finishing work same day. 2 hours later 2 other guys from the company came to check the furnace again. Estimation guy calledt me that the parts around the ignition was burned and out of order. So they have to replace 60% furnace part of my furnace. He admitted it was his fault for the wrong estimation. But original estimation would be no change. Also he couldn't do the job as a same day service because parts was not available. Next day 2 other new guys came to fix with new part. it was Nor Ignition or motors but control circuit board. The technision acted strange . he didn't change new part that he brought almost half an hour passed. So I ask "why you don't change the new part?" also I asked to leave my old part but they refused to leave. they insist it is their company policy. the job took only 45 minutes and charged me $2725 total in my credit card. Jason came out to our business for our walk in cooler which was not working properly. The system was to be replaced the following week but I just needed to get the system running to get us through the weekend. I initially thought that the system just needed a recharge on refrigerant but Jason came out and said that he ran diagnostics and the compressor has failed and there was nothing that could be done but replace the compressor. I was charged over $280 for the "diagnostics" which we paid and had to move all our products out of the walk in. I was out of town and came straight to the business at 1am because I saw on our security cameras that Jason had come for just 15 minutes. Once I arrived, I was able to quickly find that it was just the start capacitor that has failed, which is a common repair and one of the first diagnostics that would be run on a system. A new start capacitor is less than $30 and is a quick repair if you know what you're doing. If I was not out of town this would not have even been an issue that he would have been needed to be called out for. I called Jason that morning and explained to him what I was able to find out and asked him what diagnostics were run. He replied that nothing other than a visual inspection was done and said would be refunding the charge. No apologies given nor the professional courtesy to come out and fix the issue but the charge was reversed. I had to scramble to find a shop on a Saturday that had the right capacitor in stock and would sell to the public which is not an easy task. I would not be taking my time to write this review but he had the audacity to resend an invoice for this. As a business owner I have worked with many contractors, good and bad. And through my experience I can say stay far away from this one. I can't say anything about his work because he has never done any work for me. But people need contractors because they specialize in something that we don't have the capacity to do the work ourselves and I can say this business is not trustworthy nor have the professional courtesy to fix the issue at hand when they are called out on it. In my opinion I rather work with a trustworthy contractor that is maybe a little less skilled. That is because work like this may have many underlying issues which can be misdiagnosed or issues may be bigger than they initially seem. But trustworthy and professional contractors will stand by their work and will be willing to fix their mistakes when made even if they take a loss on the job because that's just the cost of running a business at times. read more

This Company is amazing - they demonstrated good old fashioned customer service. I called them this morning and they had finished a job early and were able to come check out my air-conditioner. Nelson diagnosed the problem immediately but didn't have the part on hand to fix it. Nelson went and got the part and returned within the hour - my AC was up and running within 15 minutes - my long haired puppy was very happy, especially with the heat wave we were experiencing today. Nelson from ARI just happened to walk into our business tonight shortly after a major piece of equipment broke down. I was out searching for parts and he told my husband he could come in the morning, a Sunday to boot, and bring us the part we needed. My search was futile so I called when I got back, thanked him for coming in and told he we would take him up on his offer. I was just looking online to see what it would cost to replace the unit and Nelson just pulled up. He wasn't here two minutes and had it up and running. My air conditioning had been out for four days, but i had to wait for the weekend to have it fixed. initially i had an appointment with a different company; they came out, said the unit had to be replaced and though a new unit was available, the technician told me he had no time (this was at 10:00am). he made no attempt to call his company to see if there were any other technicians available either. I paid him his $49 for basically confirming what i already knew. Meanwhile the temperature in my house was at 90 ... it was still early in the day so it wasn't too hot. I immediately started calling every Air conditioning company i could fine online to see who would replace my unit that same day. Nelson at A.R,I was one of the people I talked to. He was exceptionally nice and as accommodating as could be, He called me back in less than 10 minutes to inform me that he had the unit i needed and his technician Cody would be there by 1:00 PM. Cody came over with a new unit and as he was working I asked him a dozen questions which he answered. He was professional, quick to do the job and cleaned up after himself, If you need heating / air conditioning service, I would recommend you call A.R.I., these folks are not only good at what they do, offer competitive prices, but are also wonderful people. We highly recommend ARI Mechanical, which is locally owned and operated by Jason Nelson. We have a 1954 beach cottage which desperately needed some attention.
