Abby from Aria Bridal was great to work with. This was the second shop that we went to when trying on dresses. I loved the fact that the was so much natural lighting in the store, it definitely helped when choosing my dress. They had some great suggestions to help make my dress better, I even bought my sash there! Abby was definitely the person that I dealt with each time I went in or had a problem, she had great customer service and I loved that she remembered me each time! There were a few payment snafus and Abby was able to resolve them with my mother each time, she definitely knows what is going on in the entire store. I would have given them more stars but the rest of the people at that store do not know what is going on. Abby was not there the day my dressed was supposed to be pulled out and pressed, the day before I was scheduled to pick it up for my wedding. I called the day before, just like she asked and the person I spoke to on the floor assured me they would take care of it. I came in the day before my wedding to pick up my dress, unfortunately Abby was on the late schedule and was not there that day either. There was a post-it note on the dress saying that it had been pressed and was ready for pick up, trusting them we did not double check. Big mistake! My mother and sister took my dress to the hotel and when they unpacked it they were horrified to find that the dress was not pressed at all!! The sash that we ordered looked like it had been in a ball. The day of the wedding we had to borrow a steamer from the hotel and my mother and one of my bridesmaids had to steam the dress so it was wearable for the wedding. I called Aria Bridal to complain, I specifically wanted to speak with Abby since she always took care of everything with such grace for me, I wanted her to know that her employees pretty much lied to us about the dress being steamed. She unfortunately was on the late shift that day too and I had a wedding to get to. I would definitely suggest that this store get their employees on board with the great customer service that Abby gave me. She should not be the only responsible one there, especially since she cannot be there at all times to take care of everything. read more

My best friends' twins both got their dresses from here and Abby was their consultant each time, they married about a month a part and both found their dresses on the first visit (this was about 4 years ago). I loved the service so much that I took my daughter to Aria and requested Abby. She had my daughter pull dresses that she liked and listened to all of her (and ours) comments about what she liked and didn't like. After a few dresses she brought a dress and said try this I think it has all the things that you're looking for. My daughter loved it, we loved it, we ordered it then and there. So excited for the big day that will happen in April. I can't imagine anyone in this store giving bad service. As I said this is my third experience (thee will be more because I have two more daughters!) with them and they are great, very personable and caring and pay great attention to detail. Taylor was the best bridal consultant I've had from the several places I went to with my cousin! She helped us narrow down exactly what she wanted from the fabric to the fit. She even assisted my cousin in choosing accessories that best suited the dress and the overall feel of her wedding. With a background in bridal gowns, I was impressed with her knowledge of designers, popular silhouettes, and the right touches. I got my dream dress from Aria for only 300$! What a dream come true, alterations went seamlessly and I found a veil that went with it perfectly! Overall for the dress veil and alterations I paid around $650 which was for wonderfully into my budget! Customer service was great and they always made me feel like a special bride. After going to a few questionable establishments which remove tags and withhold designer information, Aria Bridal was like a breath of fresh air. The people that work there are fabulous. They listen to you as a customer and find dresses for you that you didn't even know would look good on. You can see that they genuinely care about the people that come in the store. One thing I would say though, is that if you are looking for the kind of boutique that serves you champagne in a glamorous atmosphere, this is not the place for you. Although the place is a bit cramped and the dressing room isn't the best, I think it is a really good place to go if you want to deal with some honest people that will really try to help you find the dress you've been looking for on a reasonable budget. I recommended a friend of mine to check out this place a few weeks back when she was looking for her dress 6 months before her wedding. Afterward, she told me she went to 3 shops including Aria, where she ultimately bought her dress. She also experienced the same helpful attitude and found that they were able to find her the dress she was looking for by listening to her idea of what she wanted and by trial and error of trying things on. I was so happy my recommendation worked out for her and she and her family had a wonderful experience. After having visited about a dozen bridal shops in So. Cal., I have to say that there defiantly should be more shops like Aria Bridal! Although I haven't purchased a dress just yet, I hope to make a decision soon! read more

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and not only did they have a fabulous selection, but they were willing to bring in styles that they did not yet have in the store. 4 days after requesting a two-piece dress, multiple sizes and colors were waiting in the store for us to try on! Allison and Abby were both knowledgable and extremely friendly; they helped us find the dress and made sure it fit perfectly. All in all, we had a fantastic experience at Aria! They scam you here for every dime with cheap materials ! My dress fell apart after 1 hour of pictures. The alterations costed upward of $500 dollars and the bustle fell off showing my entire back side before we even had our first dance- It was a total nightmare. My biggest regret from my wedding was my dress which is supposed to be a girls favorite part of the day and I didn't even have anything to wear as a back up. What a huge disappointment Oki and John were when I showed them what happened to my dress - they claimed it was because their regular alterations lady was sick that day & weren't apologetic that i could barely wear the dress. Went here to try on wedding dresses for the first time. Oki, the owner was beyond helpful. We talked before the appointment and I explained what I was looking for. When we arrived she already had dresses waiting in the dressing room for me. I will be the first to admit not everyone may have had bad experiences at Aria, or are guaranteed to, but I did, and it's my obligation to mankind to inform everyone who's thinking of shopping at Aria bridal to run the other way, and FAST! I have never experienced a more unprofessional staff than I did at Aria Bridal. I regret with every bone in my body purchasing my wedding dress at Aria, and should have known better than to shop at a "mall bridal salon". Aria epitomizes every quality that would make one weary of making such a special and expensive purchase at a mall complex. I purchased my wedding dress in January 2012. Upon its arrival in late June, it was discovered that there had been a customization mistake, silver where ivory should be, which according to the manager Abby, could not be fixed. I would need an entirely new dress Abby said that would be expedited at the expense of Aria I assumed. Abby could not have been more nonchalant and unapologetic about the situation, but rather took out her anger on absentee employee Brittany who took my order originally. THIS is every bride's worst nightmare. I shrugged it off confident she would order and expedite a new dress with all the correct customizations. I could not bring the dress home, or else it would be "unreturnable" she said. Time and time again Abby guaranteed she would call me, never once did she ever call. Over the next week, I didn't hear from Abby once. I would call and call again, promised she would return my calls... not once did she call back. Fed up with the run around, my mother and I went into the shop and were greeted by Abby and her appalling attitude, and my dress which was OUT of its bag with clips on it!!! I should have just taken it then and there. Literally, the words that came out of her mouth were "I have only been here 5 minutes I haven't even had a chance to make any phone calls".... no apology for not returning my phone calls.... no re-assuring that its being taken care of- nothing, just an immature sarcastic tone in her voice, which no customer should ever have to deal with. Was she too sick of my phone calls? TOO BAD! Maybe she should have returned one of them! Ultimately, I did nothing wrong, this wasn't my mistake, but Abby continually took out her frustration on me, THE BRIDE! She told me she had left a message with the manufacturer and that they had to "fax" China. Ok, only so much is believable; however, once again trusting that it was being taken care of, I left the shop. 4 days later, still nothing. I found a shop that could fix my dress, which Abby claimed was not even a possibility, so I called Aria and told them to bag up my dress, I was coming to get it. Upon my arrival to the shop, I met John, one of the owners, and found out that Abby had begun to take apart my dress!!! Yes, take it apart. No phone call, no permission, nothing! My dress which had been paid for in full, was now being TAKEN APART without my permission. As far as I knew, we were waiting on China to agree to make another dress "only if its their fault" Abby would say. I can only assume it wasn't their fault, so Abby began to "fix" my dress to pass off as the new one... honestly I don't have a clue what her plan was. It's no surprise manager Abby is the way she is once you you actually meet the owners, they don't return phone calls either! Astonished by John's lack of customer service, nonchalant and unapologetic attitude, and stark rudeness, I politely requested $80, which is what it was going to cost to fix the dress elsewhere. John was beyond rude in his tone and body language and would not stop repeating "When Abby is good she is good, but when she's bad she's bad" WHO SAYS THAT to a customer? Was that his excuse for Abby's horrible service? SO pathetic. He told me I was being demanding and was over the top. Yep, that just about did it. He said he would give me the measly $80 if I signed a disclosure that I would not share this experience with anyone else. I DIDN'T SIGN IT! Can you say ILLEGAL? My blood was boiling as he briefly endured his own internal ethical battle and eventually did the right thing and gave me a check for $80. I did NOT leave happy, I left settling for $80 a cheap price to pay for the infuriating experience I endured. As he wrote the check, he informed me that he was going to "Kick Abby's ass". My mother posted a very PG version of this whole ordeal which was removed by Yelp because she was not the direct customer. SHE WAS, she paid for my dress in FULL. I wonder if they'll prefer my review over hers?? These people are SO unethical, rude, un-empathetic! These people don't understand that a woman's wedding is one of the single most important days of her life... I was not treated like a bride, I was treated with respect, and most importantly, I was not treated like a paying customer. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere that actually values your business. I was truly impressed with how great the customer service was. I went to Aria to get a bridesmaid dress for my Parents' 50th wedding anniversary. I was pregnant during the planning of the anniversary and gave birth a week prior to the wedding anniversary so the dress I initially bought (maternity like dress) was no longer going to work for me. I explained the situation to one of the sales associates and she got to work on which dresses would work for my situation - I wanted a gold/champagne dress that will not make me feel so fat as I still had the baby weight and big belly from just being 1 week postpartum. She handheld me through trying on all the dresses. The dress I loved was a bit over my budget but because of the excellent customer service I bought it anyway. Highly recommend this place. I absolutely loved my experience at Aria Bridal. Abby helped me find the most beautiful dress for my wedding. When I walked in I was apprehensive because I had called around to a few stores asking if they had plus size dresses that I could try on. All the stores had said yes but when I got there the selection was minimal. This did not happen at Aria. When I got to Aria, Abby was very enthusiastic and already had multiple dresses in mind for me from when we had talked on the phone. She pulled the dresses quickly and began helping me try them on. As promised, Aria had a large number of dresses that I could try on that were both plus size and beautiful. There was no pushiness here, just a genuine interest in me finding the dress. There was even no problem when I stood there staring at myself in the mirror trying to picture myself walking down the isle. Abby did not rush me at all and was actually interested in what she was doing unlike lots of other sales people from the other bridal salons. Abby listened to what I wanted and put me in dresses that fulfilled that. There was even one dress that she had pulled that she said she didn't have me try on because it didn't sound like I would like it from what I said while I was in the store. Now, I've had girls from many other stores try to shove me into dresses that they like and that don't fit the description of what I wanted in any way. I really appreciate that Abby did not do that. In addition to having a very large selection of bridal dresses they have a good selection of mother of the bride dresses here. I appreciated that lots of the mother of the bride dresses looked like they could fit a range of women in age and style. If you are looking for a salon that charges too much and has huge overhead to maintain it don't go here. Aria while not ugly is not one of those salons. However, Aria is packed full of dresses, has staff that cares about what the customer wants, and has reasonable prices. I bought my wedding dress at Aria Bridal in February 2012. The shop was overcrowded and not easy to navigate, but I was there for a Maggie Sottero trunk show (I liked a few dresses by this designer that I'd tried on at another shop). Abby greeted me and very quickly showed me a dress that I loved. Looking back, it was a little rushed, but I was excited about the dress and purchased it for around $2,000. Abby did not take my measurements, or show me the designer's size chart. Again, looking back, this was a mistake - I should have made sure I was measured and looked at the sizing chart myself, but wedding dress shopping is stressful, and I trusted that Abby was an expert. She recommended I order one size up, I paid for the dress, and left. There was no follow up at all from the shop, which again I assume is normal, so I called to check on the status of my dress - they told me that it was going to ship in a few days, and I picked it up about a week ago (late July). I tried on the dress, and they told me it looked great, gave me one bustle option, and told me that they could have the alterations (bustle and bra cups) done in less than 30 minutes. Only then did I notice in the mirror that the dress did not fit in the bust. I pointed this out to Abby and she said, oh yeah, I was going to fix that too. Again, this felt really rushed, but - they are supposed to be the experts - so I agreed to the alterations. As they were getting ready to charge me I got a bad feeling - and let them know that I would take the dress to a tailor closer to home to get my alterations done. I noticed as I was leaving that they were going to charge me $115 dollars for the alterations - which honestly would have been fine - but this is my wedding dress, and I want it to be perfect. I've now taken the dress to two different tailors who specialize in wedding dresses. The first place told me that the dress simply did not fit right, and asked me if they had given me the wrong dress, or if it was possibly used or had been resold to me. This added to the doubt I was already feeling. I cried in the fitting room when she told me that it would require a lot of alteration, and she didn't think she could do it. I took the dress to another expert tailor today, and she agreed to fix the dress, but it will require a lot of work - the bust is just too small - which I would have known if I would have looked at a sizing chart. The rest of the fit is OK, but it is almost 3 inches too long. Since the dress has a very detailed hem, it's going to be a lot of work. I felt really bummed that Abby did not point that out to me when I was trying it on - if I would have thought about the costly work needed to fix the hem I would have not purchased that dress. Overall I'm really disappointed. I want happy tears over my wedding dress, not sad ones! I did not feel like I received expert advice or service, and would not recommend this shop to any bride. I feel like it was a rush job in an effort to sell me the dress. If I could do it over again I would have paid more money for a better experience, but I'll make the most with what I've got. read more

There's a weird smell after you walk in... like an old laundry smell. You can barely see the dresses everything is so crammed in together. I went into aria bridal on a Friday afternoon to order my bridesmaid's dress. The shop looked small, dirty, and way too crowded. When I explained that I just needed to order my bridesmaid's dress to the young girl at the front desk she scrambled around in an unorganized dirty filing cabinet, pulled out a FOLDER ( scary that's how they keep track of customer info ) and told me that I wasn't listed as a bridesmaid ( like I'd be lying about that ). The girl takes my measurements, poorly in front of everyone at the front desk; doesn't even offer to have me try it on! Not like I have a choice but it'd be nice to try on the dress I'm paying $240 for! I'm surprised this shop has any good reviews, maybe I just went on an off day? I hope so; because I've got to say that I'm a little hesitant trusting these girls to produce my over-priced dress. read more

I wish I could give Aria Bridal ZERO stars! I was looking for a certain mother of bride dress I saw online. It could only be bought thru an authorized dealer. Aria was one of those dealers. I called on the phone, and spoke to a JOHN. After John looked it up, he told me "they had that dress in their wherehouse" he said to, "come into the store and speak to OKI." So the following day I did just that. There was a nice woman working and she told me, "perfect timing, Oki is in LA at the wherehouse now." The nice lady called Oki on the phone while I was standing there, I could hear Oki's voice thru the phone. When the nice lady asked Oki , if she could pick up that dress? I heard Oki say ( and it was repeated to me)"oh that dress is at a different wherehouse than the one she was at." Sooo, I thought ...your already in L.A.? Baffeled the nice lady took all my information, including the dress style number, etc. She told me "Oki would call me the next day." When that did not happened, I called back the day after that. Oki, had asked me questions as if it was the first time she heard of the whole thing. Then she told me "NO, we do not have that dress." I repeated that John said they did indeed have that dress. Oki told me, "she would look into it and call me back" (again taking my information) well.. another week and counting, she has never called me back! I was given the run around, told numerous stories, and ultimately was an unvalued customer not worthy of at least a return phone call. In the meantime, I lost precious time in possibly getting the dress I wanted and in time. I did end up at a bridal store in San Diego. They were so helpful and treated me as if I were the bride, so I bought the $438.00 dress from them. I don't know how Aria is able to stay in business, treating customers that way. Overall, the experience here could have been a lot better. The store has a great selection and I was able to go on a weekday so it wasn't very busy there. There was only 1 salesperson working at the time along with the owners so I had to share her towards the end but that was ok. They had the dress I came in looking for but I tried on several to make sure I had the right one. Once I knew I did, I placed the order. The owner recommended I order a size smaller than I measured for which I would never recommend to someone after working for 2 years in a dress shop, but I politely declined her recommendation and ordered the size I asked for. I paid and was told it would take about 4 months, no problem. When my dress came in I received a call saying it was ready to pick up but the seamstress would be on vacation so if I wanted to see her there was only 1 day available. Since then I've been told she's on vacation on 2 other occasions so either she's always vacationing or they don't have an in-house seamstress like they imply. When I came in to pick up my dress it hadn't been unpackaged or even looked at by the staff at all and there were several glaring imperfections on the dress. Notably, there were several burn marks around the top and along the straps. I pointed them out to the 2 girls working and they told me that's the way the dress comes. I tried it on and found several other flaws, which was very upsetting for a brand new dress. I asked the ladies working what they could do about it and was told I could come in on 1 day in the next 2 weeks as the seamstress would be vacationing (again, I see a pattern here). I told them that was unacceptable and asked why they could call a customer to tell them the dress was ready if it looked like someone had taken a lighter to it. They told me it was policy to not check dresses before a customer comes in, so they had no idea about the burn marks. They offered to try to clean them off so to calm me down my mom told them to go ahead and do the cleaning and we'd come back to get it. Later when we picked it up, nothing had been done to it to improve the appearance. I've tried calling several times to speak to a manager or the owner and have never received a call back. I can only seem to talk to associates and supervisors who say they'll have someone call me back, but that still hasn't happened and I've been calling since June. Had I known that the customer service would stop the moment I put down a deposit on a dress I would've never shopped there. My salesperson was very kind and the owners were kind the day I ordered but since then I've been treated very poorly. Bottom line - customer service is not a priority here. They can get you what you want but they don't care about helping once they have your money. read more

I went here after going to several other places looking for a wedding gown. AWESOME!!! Oki (the owner) and Abby are the best! They knew what dress would be the best fit for me right away...without being pushy or snobby like some of the other places I had gone to. Their prices are reasonable, the alterations lady is OUTSTANDING, and their customer service is great. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a formal or bridal gown. If you are bride that gets easily overwhelmed with huge, fancy wedding gown boutiques I highly recommend trying to find your wedding gown here. This bridal store isn't big, but have some very nice styles of gowns. They staff is also very friendly (not that fake wedding friendly) which makes any bride feel comfortable during the wedding planning process. I saw a wedding gown that I absolutely loved by Casablanca Bridal however I did not purchase the dress because it was three sizes to big. I could have gotten the dress altered by their seamstress at a very affordable price, but I didn't want to go through the hassle downsizing the dress. Keep all your receipts, for proof that you paid and the date you paid. Don't let them accuse you of not paying. Make sure you keep calling if you get alterations. I bought my royal blue high low dress on April 5th, I had to get alterations and they said I would get a phone call May 1st to pick it up. I never got a phone call. I called the 4th and the lady I spoke to said it wasn't ready. Two weeks pass, I still don't get a call. So I called and this other lady I talked to said I missed my appointment 4 weeks ago. I just ordered my dress this past weekend, and I was pleasantly surprised at how good my experience was. I only came to Aria because they had a Maggie Sottero trunk show event, and I had my mind set on a certain style, since the bridal shop near my house didn't seem to have it. When I came in, with an appointment, my sales person was very attentive and VERY helpful picking out similar and different styles to the styles that I requested to try on. I ended up purchasing a different style than the one I had in mind, but more importantly, the service was great. Only down side: it was a Saturday, and there were at least 2 other girls trying on dresses at a time, so getting the big mirror was a challenge. Also, there weren't places to sit for my family, and luckily, my sales person got my guests a couple seats for them to wait for me. If you are a bride going in, please do NOT take in any kids or men. it's sooo inappropriate since the changing rooms are only covered with a simple curtain. but that's not under the shop's control. Plus, since it is at the mall, I can see why they get crowded. But as far as the service is, no sales pressure from anyone. the owner was totally nice and my sales rep seemed very honest with me on what looked best on me. The price was totally RIGHT! But since I was there for a trunk show, there was a discount applied. But it was definitely less than I expected to pay. Would definitely recommend! Aria bridal was my first stop and my last. I had such a great experience there. I found the dress of my dreams! The ladies helped me figure out what kind of dress I wanted and needed for my body. I did my alterations there also. Abby did an awesome job. I was on a tight budget for that and she worked with me to figure out different options and my budget. I had a really great experience with Abby. I had an appointment for wedding dresses and showed her a few pictures of styles I liked. We tried on 8-10 dresses and I really liked one, but ultimately I bought a dress somewhere else. Even though I didn't get my dress here I still wanted to give Abby props for her help. I went into Aria Bridal in Escondido to find a dress for a New Years party I was pleasantly surprised , they had an amazing selection of dresses and the Owner and his seamstress Abby were so nice. The really went above and beyond to make sure the dresses fit and made the alterations very easy. I did say Dresses. Because the selection was so amazing I needed to get more than one . Thanks Aria . I originally came here with one of my bridesmaids to get her a dress from the B2 line. We kind of decided to go here on a whim, and I called two hours ahead on a Saturday and the lady on the phone was so nice, and took us anyways (Saturdays are always the worst in bridal shops). We got there and were greeted and helped immediately. My friend found a dress within ten minutes and decided to buy it. We were done so early, that we decided that I should try on some bridal gowns. I was very happy with their large selection on plus size gowns. I have been to other places that claim to have a selection, but really only have 15 dresses in a size 16+. The woman helping us asked what I was looking for, and she picked out some dresses with us. The first dress that I tried on here was THE ONE! I was so relieved to find a chiffon dress that didn't accentuate all of the curves that I wanted to hide. I asked her how much it was, and she told me $650, which is awesome. After trying on other gowns and deciding that this was the one, I was quoted a different price. It was $75 more because I'm a plus size (lucky me). It wasn't her fault for the change in price, but I would have appreciated knowing that up front. Also, there wasn't a whole lot of room to admire yourself, only two places to really look in a full length mirror. But considering the selection, it was totally worth it! Good things: Tons of selections (even for plus size) Friendly staff that will help you get in and out of dresses Good prices (I paid $780 after taxes) Bad things: Not a lot of places in the shop to get a full glimpse of yourself in your gown. It's in Escondido, which is a good 40 minute drive for me. As much as I liked my saleswoman, she should have been upfront about the extra charge for plus sizes, instead of waiting until I was at the counter, credit card in hand. Despite some of the negatives, if you can get to Escondido, this is definitely worth getting there and suffering the heat. read more

I was looking for a particular dress made by impression bridal. I called all of the wedding dress stores in San Diego and aria bridal was one of them. I spoke to a woman with an Asian accent and asked her if she had the designer's dress by asking for it by name and dress number. She put me on hold and looked it up on the computer. She got back on the phone and told me that they have that dress and I asked if I could make an appointment. She made an appointment for me and two days later I showed up about an hour early with my friend and asked if they would confirm my appointment. The store was empty and the man looked at the appt. book and confirmed it for an hour later. I told him I would walk around the mall with my friend and wait since I was early. He said ok and I left. An hour later I walk in and the place is packed and I was being ignored while I wait patiently at the front counter to check in. The Asian woman was standing there ringing up a sale, then another sale while I just stood there off to the side waiting to be helped. 10 min later the man asked me if he could help me. I guess he forgot me after an hour. I told him I have an appointment. He looked it up, again, and to.d me that he would send someone in to help me. I told him I have a particular dress I made the appt to try it on and I figured it would be set out waiting. It wasn't , the Asian woman made me write it down myself so she could find it. I was told to wait in the dressing room. 15 min later a frantic girl rushes in with the dress for me and apologized for taking so long but she was waiting on the Asian lady to tell her where the dress was located. The girl was very sweet and she was the only person there rushing, or doing any work. She hands me the dress and without taking it out of the bag I knew it was no where near what I requested. I couldn't tell you the designer because all of the labels are gone. I think they make or buy knock off dresses. There are no style numbers located anywhere on the dress or the bags. The girl asked if I would try it anyways so we could get an idea as to what I liked. Well, the dress itself was browned around all if the zippers, collar covered in makeup, rips in the lace, and beading was literally hanging by threads. I told my friend that it looked like a dress you use for dress up when your a kid. Totally ragged, old, and not anything that I wanted. I told the girl after I tried it on that I would like to try the dress that I drove 50 min from South San Diego to their store to try on. The Asian woman couldn't find it and I was livid. I went to the front counter to tell the woman what poor customer service they had. I told her the wasted time, gas, and energy she cause. She kept interrupting me to tell me "sorry, there's nothing else I can say, so sorry"! It was insincere and she was interrupting me so I would accept the apology and just leave because there was customers in there. I told her that if I called for a specific dress and she told me it was there, common sense would be to have it sitting out ready for me. If it wasn't there she should've called to tell me it wasn't there. If I showed up an hour early and there want anyone there she could've offered to help me then and save me time. Instead she made me wait 20 min past my appt to try on The Wrong Dress. I'm not a picky person, but when it's your wedding day, and you have a very particular dress you want with a style # and everything, it's not fair to give someone false expectations and blow them off with a fake apology. I went into Aria today with my mom and without an appointment. Probably because it was 3pm on a Monday, they were able to help me. I can definitely say Jasmine is the best!! I found Aria online because they carry Maggie Sottero. They had a HUGE selection and Jasmine was so great about helping pick out dresses that would look good on me without any pressure. I came here looking for a prom dress, yes I found a great one that look good on me. TWO STARS given because the service is horrible. Very rude, unenthusiastic staff. She seemed very unenthusiastic about selling me the dress, leaning on the counter, sloppy appearance. I was trying to hold back from just leaving the store but I really wanted the dress. The dress I wanted was damaged and had jewels missing, so she told me she would order a new one, and if the new one won't be able to come in by the time of my prom [3 weeks from now] then they will 'fix' the damaged one and I would have to keep that one. If they 'fix' the damaged one, they better fix it real good. I did not spend $230 for a damaged dress when they said they would bring me a new one. Now I understood the lady may have had a long day, which explains her horrible service. But I called three days later because she said they would call me back about the dress they made me PAY for already. No call. So I called them [they said to] and the lady on the other line was rude, "i don't have your file on hand, and i'm busy right a customer right now and i'm the only one working i'll call you later" I highly doubt calling me later would happen. Great experience twice at Aria! My 15-year-old daughter and I came to the store in March needing an appropriate dress for a pageant. The staff worked with us to stay on budget and find the perfect dress to capture my daughter's personality and style. They offered advice and creative suggestions with alterations, shoes and jewelry. Well, it paid off because she is now Miss Teen Poway! Today we returned to find a parade dress. Once again they worked within our budget and had a wonderful selection of beautiful, classy dresses to try on. Thanks to all at Aria, we will be back! read more
