Ariel went above and beyond to install a new washing machine. He was called by my apartment building's management company after Best Buy reported "leaking plumbing" after they dropped off the washer without installing. There was no plumbing leak what so ever. Best Buy's delivery people saw they would need to move a second washer in order to install the new one. So they quickly left without even responding to me! Ariel received an urgent call from the management company saying there was a plumbing leak. He stopped the job he was currently at to respond to the urgent call. Upon arrival we both confirmed there was no leak at all. Instead of reporting no leak and leaving, Ariel moved the second washer out of the way, unboxed and installed the new washer. I'm way overdue in posting a review: I've used Ariel's Plumbing for well over a decade now for both my own home and for maintenance with a number of rental properties I manage. What I appreciate the most is that I can trust Ariel & his team 100% to completely resolve issues for my tenants without my supervision, and often without me getting involved at all other than paying the bill. This morning, Ariel's team unclogged a drain for a tenant; I was not on-site for the work, but I got a video of the drains working well after they finished; they locked up when they left; and the tenant just texted me "Thank you, everything is working perfectly." About 18 months ago, a shower valve in a nicely-finished shower enclosure went out, and there was risk we'd have to remove & replace some tile or leave a larger potentially-ugly cover plate; Ariel was able to replace the valve in place without doing any tile damage. And similarly, about 8 months ago, a tenant cracked a sink, and here as well, Ariel was able to a) replace the bowl without doing any drywall damage, and b) to coordinate schedule with the tenant without any of my involvement. Ariel came through for us! The pilot light in our water heater wouldn't stay lit so we called the plumbers who installed it. Unfortunately it was Saturday morning and they were booked for the weekend and could only come on Monday. They recommended we call Ariel to see if he could come sooner. Since we wanted hot water sooner than later, we called Ariel and he was able to come at the end of the day. Ariel was very nice and professional. He replaced the pilot igniter, which lucky was still under warranty so no additional cost there. He estimated 30-35 minutes but was done in just over 20 minutes. We have used Ariel's Plumbing for several repairs over the years and he has done excellent work with what was to be done, Unfortunately our last experience was on a multi room repair in which he came to the property and diagnosed/discussed the repair and told us that he would start it on the following Monday. ZERO follow through and no reply , even after we tried to confirm with him. For a "regular" client you would think that he would have the courtesy and PROFESSIONALISM to call back and say either something came up, or that he simply would have to reject the repair. I can't emphasis enough how great Ariel's plumbing is!! He is very kind, cordial and prompt. My apartment's property manager hired Ariel to fix our shower cold/water handles that has been leaking. It was something we didn't care about personally, but could increase the water bill for our landlord. Ariel took a look, went to three different stores to find replacements, then realized it was so old he would need to replace it all and put a modern one handle shower. He came back another time to fix it all, and did such an amazing job. Not only did he replace the handles, he ended up having to move the shower head too! Our shower head was in the worst spot (not a good use of space), so Ariel put the new shower head in the corner so we could use all the space! Ariel is the best, we were very impressed on how he's shown his professionalism! We needed an urgent plumber on a Sunday, called multiple plumbers but no one was available. Lucky for me, when I contacted Ariel, he was quick to reply to let me know that he is available to come in the afternoon. He made sure to keep me in the loop of his arrival throughout the day. Since he's very knowledgeable and has many years of experiences, he was able to just look at the issue for couple of minutes and bam, we were quoted and the quote he gave us was very reasonable. I'm sure there was no way I was going to get the same price for an urgent fix on a Sunday from other plumbers. He only took 30 min to fix a deformed pipe, put in two water shut off valves, add in the faucet supply tube, then ran the water throughout the house and made sure there was no leak coming from what he fixed under the sink and around the faucet before he left. Ariel for the win! I called Ariel late Sunday afternoon with a sink emergency and with two kids an interruption in water from your kitchen sink is just not possible. He got back to me within minutes. I assumed he wouldn't be able to make it out until the week day, but he opted to come later that afternoon. He sorted our sink issues. Turns out we were majorly backed up. He snaked the drain and make sure our drains worked better than ever. While he was there, I asked to replace our sink garbage disposal and he did so without flinching. I cannot say enough good things about Ariel. We've had him over for repairs a few times and every experience has been so great. We had a major blockage in our sewer pipe and had another group of plumbers come take a look at it. They essentially made a huge mess, didn't ask permission to cut open pipes and didn't even fix the problem, just made it worse. We got Ariel to come over the next day. He was professional and showed up on time and explained thoroughly what the problem could be. He went into details on what he was going to try and was transparent about pricing. His quality of work is absolutely top notch and he takes pride in it. He laid out protective sheeting and cleaned up the whole area after he was done.
