First thing I notice walking in is that no one greets me and my friend; we walk in and have to find our own seats. I ate here earlier this week and it was decent but they were very skimpy on the salmon in the bento box. Today, the same lack of greeting and having to seat ourselves. I ordered the caterpillar roll and an avocado roll. Even though there were two servers today the service was very slow and our server kept forgetting things like the extra ginger we asked for or cups for our tea and we had to keep calling the second server (who was very attentive for not being our server) to bring us the things that we asked for. When we finally got everything sorted and began to eat, I got through my avocado roll and started on the caterpillar roll when I found plastic inside of my food. We sent the food back and when I refused to order a replacement roll they only offered to remove the contaminated roll from our bill, as though they were doing us a favor by not charging for the inedible food. I could hear the server talking to the chef about it and his attitude was very nonchalant, saying sometimes that's what happens. While the food is just ok, the service combined with the attitude of the chef makes it very unlikely that I will be coming back here. read more

Quiet ambient and good customer service. The chef needs to change his cleaning towel after serving each customer order. He left the wet towel uncovered for about 15 minutes until the next customer arrived ( remember you are working with seafood/ fish easy to produce salmonella). read more

I've been to this place a few times in the past and every time I leave with a happy belly. Lol Seriously the Sushi is always fresh and prepared great. The server Dave that was there on my last trip didn't look like the normal person you'd see working at a Sushi style restaurant but he KILLED it. Took our orders without writing them down and provided quick, clean, and professional service. Plus he had a great attitude. The only flaw I found in the place was the prices. We tried this sushi spot after looking for a new place on Yelp. We have been hunting for a go-to sushi place in the area and I think we have found it! We sat at the sushi bar and Sean greeted us. After ordering a couple of rolls off the menu, we started chatting with Sean and found out that he has been making sushi for 14 years and had his restaurant for 11 years. Unfortunately, the restaurant is hard to see from the street, which explains how we have missed it all these years. We asked if Sean had any personal recipes that weren't on the menu and he proceeded to make a delicious roll with seared salmon and Asian pear. It was soooo good!!! My hubby was almost licking the sauce off of the plate! I was a little skeptical when we first walked in, but I'm so glad that we stayed and got to try some delicious sushi and had a very pleasant conversation with Sean. We will be back!! read more

JUST walked out of Arigato and Ive gotta say its the best Sushi place Ive been to. I started off with some salmon sashimi and then asked Sean to make me something spicy...he brought out an albacore roll so delicious, LOTS of flavor, very nice presentation and did I say it was delicious? After some talking, I asked him to make me something else and he prepared a seared salmon roll, just as good if not better than the albacore! I absolutely love Arigato Sushi! It's the best. They have amazing food and this may sound odd but they always have great music playing. They restaurant is clean and the staff is great. I can't remember the waiters name off the top of my head but every time my friends and I come in he is so polite and welcoming. They are also really great about accomdating big groups. Food here is delicious and staff is friendly! I will say that the service does need some improving. After food arrives we rarely see the waiter/waitress. Another thing is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and dining area. Bathrooms are usually dirty. Dining area appears dusty, floors need to be swept more. At last....we've found a new home for sushi! We've been trying to find a new place, so we came and tried Arigato tonight. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and comfortable. Sean, the owner is the sushi chef, an artist behind the bar. Most important part always has to be the fish and this is the best we've had in our 12 years in the I.E. Sean insisted we try the Albacore...one of the best bites I've ever had. We had another order of it after that and the Tuna was also perfect. We also had a roll I think was called a SCWERMA ...it had several layers of phenomenal flavor. Our server Mikayla was terrific, very friendly and attentive. Overall, Sean has a great thing going on here...first rate service, rich favors and a truly "chill" atmosphere. If you try it, I'm sure you'll be impressed also. read more
