I shop at Aritzia pretty often and from my experience, I can confidently say that Aritzia has a great selection of fashionable well designed clothes. The clothing is perfect for young adults or very fashionable women. You won't find any men's clothing in here. So don't bother. They carry popular brands like Marc Jacobs, Rock and Republics, J Brand Jeans, Citizens of Humanity, and many other brands. This store is kind of pricey, but you sort of pay for the quality. Service here is a hit or miss. You either get people that are really nice and overly helpful, or you get aggressive associates. I really recommend this place to all the girls that are tired of forever 21 and need something higher quality than Urban Outfitters. read more

This place is the worst with return and or exchange policy. Once they give you a small discount i.e $20, you CANNOT exchange or refund even after a few days. And they do not even tell you that there is no refund or exchange. You are expected to know this. AT least warn your customers. But again, do you expect that from a high-end store?? Spent over $600 and they would not even let us exchange!!!. Horrible service, horrible policy. For the price you pay for these clothes, go to other stores and have the benefit of being able to return. They should at least warn you... buy elsewhere. NEVER Coming back!! read more

I've been going to aritzia since I started shopping for my own clothes. I grew up in Vancouver, B.C where this store originated from and I was soooooo happy when i found out that they opened a store here in the bay area. I love all the brands that they sell here juicy, 7's, R&R and of course their own brand TNA and Talula.. I love buying my sweats here because they offer xxs in sizes, plus its such a girly girl store so thats another reason why i love it. However, I would never wear there sweats around Vancouver because I'd look like all the other asian girls in Vancouver. But I would def wear it here. =) read more

I came here for Memorial Day weekend and got amazing customer service (I think her name was Manny??). I was very much appreciative for the great customer service because I don't always get that from this store. It really is a hit or miss. I've been coming here since day one this place opened and I love all their clothes! The prices here are very high but I still love this store! Their Memorial Day sales are really good here! Everything was 20 - 40% off! It doesn't get any better than that! I must of got two pairs of pant and a top for only $110! A huge plus for this store is that they are more than welcome to order clothes from other stores if they don't have your size in their store! So i went there over the weekend just to check what they have in-store. The staff were so nice and friendly which makes the whole shopping experience great.I love this jacket so much but didn't want the one out so one of their SA offered to order it online and then ship it to my house. Being someone who works for retail i appreciate people who give 5 star customer service. Whenever I go into Aritzia I notice their fantastic customer service. As a guy, I can't really buy anything besides scarves and other accessories, but I'm still beyond impressed by the staff of the store. The store itself offers a great variety of clothing for women. They have very classic, timeless pieces which are fantastic quality, which would explain the high prices which seem fair. Whenever I need a gift for one of my friends, Aritzia is one of the first places that comes to mind. I feel very comfortable at the store. I actually like almost everyone in this location. However yesterday I had a very bad experience there. Two weeks ago I bought a three pairs of pants. One pair was on sale and it was a final sale. After coming home and trying the sale pants I did not like it and I knew I couldn't do anything about it. A week ago I went back for returning one of the regular price pairs as I was doing my return I asked the cashier and other girl next to about my situation with the final sale pants. I told them I was aware the pants was final. They told me just bring them in snd we will exchange it for the another item. We want you to like your purchase. I was there yesterday and bought a dress and a hat. As I was paying for those items I asked to change my pants. I told cashier what her colleague told me last week about. All the sudden one of the young manager name Anza, told me we don't exchange final sale and we won't use those vocabulary or verbiage. She was basically implying I was making it up. I finished my transaction and pulled her aside to talk to her. Honestly I didn't care about the return. It was her whole attitude. I told her I was not that desperate to make up a lie. She was so rude that had no remorse to say sorry, not even once. I said as a manager you could have told me no sorry those employees made a mistake and we never do any exchanges in final sales. She was still kept her condescending attitude. I asked her for upper manager name. I will be calling her. read more

I can see why Aritzia has gained so much popularity. It's really hard to not fall in love with a nicely decorated store, that carries high-end brands. All of their items are high-quality and very well presented. I would have really given Aritzia four stars; however, they did not carry as many designer brands as I had expected. The majority of the clothing that I saw were TNA, which is nice, but their look is too relaxing for me. I had expected more classy, chic styles--especially coming from a store of it's caliber. They did carry a lot of exclusive denim from Citizens of Humanity. They generally carry teeny sizes, such as XXS. So, if you're not extremely thin, I do not recommend going into Aritzia--you will leave with anorexia nervosa. read more

I think the clothes here are generally very cute, and fashionable. Although cute and fashionable, I do not believe it's worth the price tag on many of the items sold here. All the latest styles like crop tops, high waited miniskirts, and many designer jeans are sold here, which attracts many customers, including myself. I love trying on new outfits. It IS pricey here though. There was a thin blazer that they sell here and it was $150. Some of the shirts surprise me because they shouldn't be priced so high. Although, there were shirts that I found by chance, that turned out to be around $30, which is awesome. Definitely hit or miss, so be sure to check out everything! As for the customer service, 8/10 times I get good service. There were TWO occasions where this asian girl (she has shoulder length hair and is medium build and not very tall) tries to "help" me and ends up insulting me. When I walked in and pick something, she intensely asks me if I want a room and then suggest UGLY clothes that don't go together. This last time I came by, I was just looking for jeans to try on with a shirt. She came out of nowhere and said loudly "You're like a 30 right?" I was SOOO insulted, because she guessed 2-3 sizes above what I was. I said "no, it's not, but thanks" and ended up leaving everything and walking out. She acted like she cared but she rushed me and made me feel reeeeeaaallly chubby. I primarily go here to check out new styles that are emerging and get some fashion tips from the employees. I do admit to finding a good deal now and then. And for these reasons, I give it the A-OK. read more

FOR THE PETITES: Fact #1: There aren't many brands out there that make petite clothing. I think I can name the majority off the top of my head: asos, gap, banana republic, old navy, jcrew, ann taylor... and even then, their selection is so very limited. Fact #2: There aren't that many brick & mortar stores that carry petite clothing for you to try on in person. Fact #3: Because of Fact #1 and #2, I am forced to always look for XS when I shop in the women's department (and no, I don't want to shop in the little girls section. I have hips & a bust. Thanks.) but even then, XS is usually baggy, long, and/or loose. And I don't think I've ever seen XXS. Fact #4: But gasp, Aritzia carries XS AND XXS! Fabulous! And it fits me!!!! Fact #5: Aritzia is so pricey. :( So, as a petite, I am paying for fit. Also, their sales are meh. I walked in and was so excited to see sale signs everywhere! Maybe it's because I embrace my Vancouver roots.... but Aritzia is a welcome change for women looking to have more than just Bebe and BCBG in their closets. The clothes are west coast chic, comfortable (I'm told) and well made. Their location in the mall is not ideal... but it's well worth the walk upstairs. This place is o-k. They have a huge selection of really cute and soft apparel and accessories. Prices are similar to Nordie's Savvy department and Urban Outfitters. Their leggings are super soft and you can cut it (if you get tired of it) and it won't get all crazy on you. Loves that! I forget the girl's name, but the receipt shows "Associate 21006." This is a great store, I really love the clothing. You can tell how much thought went into the selections for such a great general inventory. The customer service is great...in fact, it's so great it's the reason I'm docking off one star. Buyer BEWARE. This business is trying to trick customers about its return policy. It is not mentioned anywhere in the check out process that discounted items are final sale so you have no way of knowing. I have screenshots that show that none of the checkout pages nor the email confirmation say that the items are final sale. So they won't give you a refund even if you send back the item within 14 days. In other words they are highly unethical and not abiding by their own policy. read more

I've always loved the look of this store every time I walk past by. This time, I decided on a whim to go in and look at their dress selection. I was shopping for a cute but stylish dress to wear to my cousin's wedding. I am so glad that I did! I found a few dresses that I absolutely loved by Wilfred. The associate that helped me was very friendly and helpful, something I really appreciated after working retail during my college summers. I also really appreciated the fact that she had glanced at the sizes of the clothes I was picking and willingly brought me a dress in a color that I mentioned I was thinking of wearing to the wedding in my size. It's a small detail that made my shopping experience here so much more enjoyable. I ended up buying the dress in a gorgeous emerald green and am thrilled with it. Came in here because I had seen a beautiful dress online. I was GOING to purchase this dress for an upcoming baby shower, but the customer service sucked! No "Hi!" No "Hello". Up there on my list because the service was wonderful. The SA who helped me did a great job getting my sizes and throwing in a couple suggestions as well as advice to help me decide if I looked fat or not. Woohoo! I ended up getting a cute Talula Babaton trench coat here for around 200 bucks. This brand isn't mainstream but it's oh so cute and chic! Among the other brands they carry are Citizens, Rock&Republic, BCBGirls (line of BCBG), and many other trendy brands. This is a good place to check out if you like chic boutiques with unique pieces (well except for the designer jeans of course- which by the way are organized very well!). It's more relaxing with a touch of girly luxurious decor. Better than Metropark in my opinion. The dressing rooms are spacious and there's couches nearby. read more

I fell in love with Aritzia! I just bought a super cute dark grey and black dress, perfect for daytime wear and nighttime wear if i spiff it up a bit.. Also I got these super cute navy shorts with the cutest decored gold buttons on them. I won't deny it, I am a sucker at little detailed decors on clothes.. It makes them that much unique compared to other stores and clothes.. Who wouldn't want to have unique clothes anyways? Clothes aren't the cheapest compared to Urban Outfitters.. But I rather go here than Urban since I hardly find anything there! Sizes do go small all the way up to XXXS i believe, which surprised me since I've never seen that! but good for us asian people :) The service was amazingly great! Every one of the workers there was trying to help me out in every way.. They knew it was my first time trying on Rock and Republic jeans so they catered to my every need, for my sizes, and if i was interested in other clothing that I thought was cute. I could legitimately bankrupt myself at this boutique/chain. That is both a good thing and a really bad thing because I'm really not rolling in the kind of dough that you need to be dressed head to toe in Aritzia. Their ish goes between being MEGA spensy and justifiably affordable. I have a tendency to go bananas for their basics which are all usually excellent quality and super on trend with color/fit. They mostly deal in their own brands: TNA, Wilfred & Talula but they do sell a handful of levi's, rag & bone and some other hard to find brands as well. I have purchased several thousands of dollars (mostly dresses, jackets and long sleeve raglans) worth of items over the years and they have all served me well.. I rarely have to toss anything except for the occasional tear or snag. The only downsides are the price, and that customer service can range from being wildly friendly to non existent. read more

I LOVE Aritzia. They carry many brands that are Canadian. They carry Tatula Babaton, Wilfred, TNA, R&R, Citizens, JOES. Their denim section is pretty big, and organized nicely by cut and wash, also size.The customer service here is great, but a little too "in your face". This is seriously the one store ever made where I walk in and find that I like every product they are selling--everything is totally my style, as if I were a buyer for the store and selected all the clothing I liked. The clothing style here is modern, fashionable, yet laid-back. There's a mature look to their clothing; not granny or conservative but not bopper either. You can find some boutique-like clothing and some nice unique pieces here. The customer service at the store is amazing. The customer service representatives are very persistent, making sure that you are alright. They always ask me if I'd like to start a fitting room. The scenery of the store is beautiful, its very classy yet modern and reflects a good sense of style. The quality of their products is great, which is good because sometimes the price can be steep. However, their sales are amazing. I have hoodies from here and jeans from here and I've never regretted my purchases. Maybe it is because this store is busier than the one in SF (i dont know, is it?) , but the workers in SF are way nicer, more approachable and more willing to help, and overall 10's compared to the way I was helped (or lack thereof) at this store. Within 5 minutes of entering the SF store, someone will already ask me if I'm okay, have any questions, am i looking for something, do you want to try this on, can i take this for you.. yadayada... just helpful but they back off if you kind of give them the sign that you're just fine, thank you. Within 10 minutes of entering the SC store, nobody even comes up to me to say anything. I just left because I almost didn't feel welcome compared to being at the store in SF. Maybe they train the workers better at the SF Aritzia because it's the first Aritzia in California? or because its in 'the city'.. Whatever the case, I will primarily be going to the SF Aritzia as I just don't like the Aritzia in Santa Clara. This is hands-down my favorite store at Valley Fair Mall (or as of now). Sure it's pricey, but they have everything I love in one cute boutique-y location. It saves me precious time. Plus, I'm all for quality over quantity, so I get to kill two birds with one stone. I also love how some of the sales associates dress, they're such fashionistas. On the downside, the associates are sometimes un-attentive, and the return policy only gives you like a week or two to make returns (God forbid). read more

Okay, when I say I love a boutique then that means I really LOVE it! I'm a shopaholic and I'm just so glad I found this place! When I stepped into this place I was in heaven! The clothes were all so cute and trendy. The workers there are sweet and friendly! They were very helpful and helped me picked out some really cute things. I ended up getting a sexy lace dress and a black blazer. Normally I have a really hard time finding a blazer that fits me because I am so petite but this one was perfect! Aritzia prices are not so and I would say it's affordable. I got my lace dress for $60 which was so worth it because I get a lot of compliments when I wear it. The blazer was $110 which is about right because the material is pretty good. I was pleased with the clothes selections and the customer service. The workers were very patient with me when I was choosing what color lace dress I wanted. I was debating between the white/cream and the black. I was stuck in the fitting room for hours! The workers didn't mind and was always there to help me when I needed something the whole time. I will come back to shop here for sure! I put this place as my top 10 boutiques to shop at! read more

I'm a girly tomboy!? does that make sense? not a true tomboy, but I'm pretty much up there. and usually, when i make a trip from SF to VALLEY FAIR, i never really find anything. BUT, today @ Aritzia, i SURE found something and at a GREAT DEAL, too. =) My friend was trying to convince us to go to the gym that day. We said "sure, after we go shopping, okay!?" (pretty much, you know when girls say that, it ain't going to happen). So, our friend takes a nap in the car and finds himself kidnapped to THE MALL. As we were walking around, we found, Aritzia (a boutique like store that had originated from Canada). The target market for this store is trendy young and feminine. But, this store needs help in the merchandising and advertising department (that's why it didn't get all 5 stars from me!). The sign for the store is hard to read, we didn't even know what it was and walked passed it, at first. Inside the store, it was hard to tell what brands they featured. But, the store was neat and easy to navigate through the racks.The fitting room mirrors are outside. I like this because it makes people take LESS time in the fitting rooms. The store is hot because of all the lights, and one of the associates offered me a bottle of water, even! The sales associates were very attentive. Even though, they kept coming up to my friend and I asking if we needed fitting rooms. i didn't mind them bothering me (not only because i work in retail), but ANNOYING customer service is better than NO customer service AT ALL. There were sales EVERYWHERE, i scored a pair of ROCK & REPUBLIC JEANS for $149 original price $223! How sweet is that!! my friend got a cute cardigan for $40. They have plenty of simple, mix and match pieces with unique detailing, and a fair variety of designer jeans and jackets. overall, i LOVE this cute store. I absolutely love this store! I wanted to buy the whole store! I went to San Fransisco for a small weekend vacation. I had my eye on this green Community jacket (Yes the one that was featured on the Bachlorette). I was absolutely in love with it and knew I had to have it! So I thought, "great, this is my chance to check out the Aritzia stores up there". I've also been to the one in San Fransisco, but unfortunately they were sold out. In a desperate attempt, I called the store in Santa Clara in hopes they would have it and THEY HAD THE JACKET! I swore I almost busted my artery from excitement. The only two sizes they had left were xxs and xl. So then I thought "great, I'm not going to fit into an xxs!!!" I was extremely disappointed but the sales associate reassured me that she would put it on hold and to come into the store and try it on. When I arrived in the store, the sales associates were very friendly and got to try the jacket on. To my surprise it fit! The best part was that it was also on sale! I wasn't sure if I was more excited because I fit into a xxs or because the jacket was on sale. So I purchased it and the sales associate was very friendly and was engaging in conversation with me. I got excellent customer service and an awesome jacket on a great price. I left a happy camper. read more

10 day strict return policy in the middle of a global pandemic and during the holidays. Who makes a 10 day return policy? That's not even 2 weekends to get back in there. You know who? Places that don't actually want you to return things because they know you'll go home and realize how absurdly and unnecessarily expensive their clothes are and want to return them. So...they create this "fake" policy that helps no one but them by helping them keep your money. Well, what they didn't factor in is the frustration and bad taste they are leaving in the customers mouth leading that person (like me) to make a mental note to never ever EVER shop here again. And to tell everyone I know to do the same. However, considering that it looked like I was the ONLY person in there when I did my return, it looks like a lot of other people are already starting feel the same way. So, Aritzia, are you really winning in the long run by keeping my money for the short haul? Had you not pissed me off with your stupid as rocks return policy, I probably would have purchased something else, but now, you've lost the only person that was in there willing to shop. No returns on sale items which I suppose is understandable ( so buyer be aware when ordering online) but also 10 day returns in store and if a day late, just a credit. I have been shopping at Aritzia ever since they opened. And nearly two years later my entire closet is full of clothes from aritzia. Not only do they have amazing clothes and coats, they have PHENOMENAL customer service. Everyone who knows me, knows i'm a huge believer about customer service. If a store does me wrong even one regardless of their products, I always stop shopping there and never comeback. Some shops that i boycott from are bebe and even target! But at Aritzia, the SAs are sooo friendly and nice and willing to help you. I have shopped at Aritzia sooo much that a few of them have even remembered my name and always greet me when i come in. VISITOR BE AWARE OF RUDE STAFF. The one star is for my visit on 1/11/2020. The cashier girl with glasses walked off as soon as I went up to her for checking out. She went to the other cashier who was helping another client. She didn't say "I'll be right there with you" or even a word to me, just walked off, so I followed her half way, waiting for her to let me know when she's ready for me. As soon as she finished talking to the other cashier, she told the girl behind me "Next". I told her "I was waiting for you", and she goes "but the line starts here" pointing in the air, implying I was standing between the 2 cashiers, without any sign of "Line starts here". She act like a queen giving command without any manner. In addition, with their return policy, even 5% off sales items are final sales, I don't feel been respected by their policy or staff in this Aritzia store. Training on retail customer service (and basic manners) are urgently needed in this store. read more

I really do love Aritzia and this location. It used to be in the mall and then it was near Lululemon on SR. This new location on SR has the best layout and it doesn't ever feel too squished in the store. I am able to properly social distance. The downside to Aritizia is that their return policy has changed from what I remember it to be. They used to allow for people purchasing sale items online to return the items to the store for store credit; however, they do not allow this anymore. It is not very explicit on the website either that all sale items are final sale. The other downside would be that unless you are trying on undergarments, sales associates will not put you in a dressing room that has a mirror. This forces you to come out of the dressing room and look at a big communal mirror. Tip: always bring a bra or undergarment with you so that they will give you a fitting room with a mirror. read more
