I love shopping at Aritzia and given this is the nearest location to me I come in rather frequently. The staff is always super accommodating and friendly but today I had a much different experience and found myself very disappointed when I left. The manager on shift was EXTREMELY rude when I wanted to try on an item in the fitting room. She rudely snatched up my item and threw it on the rack and very aggressively informed me that there was a line despite the fact that I had been waiting in said like for five minutes, and proceeded to let 3 girls cut in front of me. I understand that many employees during this time of year can be stressed, especially with black friday looming the corner, however, this kind of treatment to loyal clientele is absolutely unacceptable and quite frankly, discourages me to want to return to this location. I hope this review finds the right person and will lead to some changes. read more

Not even worth 1 star. Worst customer service ever. I went in and placed special order and everyone was very nice. It took more than 2 months to get item in (which I was told it would only take 2 weeks) but it's not their fault so I didn't complain at all. I didn't bother to put make up one or wear nice clothes since I was just going in for pickup and guess what? They treated me totally differently. I guess that this girl thought I didn't ha enough money to but their stuff lol. She had this attitude whole time during the transaction (not to even mention that she didn't bother to fold my clothes, which she did for everyone else who checked out in front of me) and when I asked her to remove tag on one of the time, she fake acted like she was checking drawer and she said 'I don't have scissors' and she left. Huh no scissors at all in store? I asked another girl and guess what she opened the exact same drawer, got the scissors out and cut the tag for me without any issue. Seriously? I was tricked with their so-called return policy. Because I clipped of the price tag they refused to take back the item saying it's now worn so bye bye. That's their scam. If you complain via Facebook they'll refer you to their return policy. However, that policy does not specifically say they will refuse to take back an item if the customer cuts off a tag from the item. I would think more than several times before purchasing another thing from them. They seem to do alot of trickery and have mounting excuses as to why they'll refuse to issue a refund and even a credit like in my case. Also pay attention very carefully to the workmanship. Another item I had purchased online was faulty. They advertise that their items are high quality. The only thing that's high are their prices! read more

My absolute favorite store ever! Aritzia offers very trendy and classic pieces for any occassion. Whether you are looking for a wear to work, date night, or coachella outfit, this is your place to go. I always find something here and majority of my closet is from here. I love how their pieces are so classic and the quality (for majority of items) are top notch. Their products are a bit pricier than your average contemporary clothing shop, but due to the quality, I think its worth the investment as long as it is a classic piece. They do have sales every so often, so I usually splurge during the sales! If you are unable to find your size, the associates can usually check other locations and place an order for you. One of the main reasons I love this place is because of their wide range of sizing. Due to my short height, its hard for me to find things that fit in the right places but they carry XXS and XS here for people like me! The cut on their pieces also hit in all the right places. Attention to detail does not go unnoticed! The only downside is the return policy is short. For full price items, you have to return within 10 days I believe. Sale items in store are final sale. For someone who is indecisive, I typically like to buy it first and decide later, but I cant really do that here unless I plan to come back within a week. The clothes are really cute but I hate hate hated the fitting room experience. There are no mirrors in the individual rooms so if you want to see how you look you need to go into the shared lounge area in front of everybody else who is trying on clothes. For people who hate trying on clothes this was a horrible experience. The employees were kind so that wasn't the problem. Please just invest in mirrors for the fitting rooms so people don't have to deal with trying on clothes in front of strangers. I couldn't believe there are still dressing rooms set up like this. I stopped by yesterday night to get some new clothes for work, and had a great experience. I was asked if I wanted to start a fitting room, and they even threw in a few other items they thought I'd like, after asking what I was shopping for. While wandering around, I noticed they were doing the same for other customers, and even recommending other stores for people that couldn't find what they were after. They even held the items I knew I was purchasing at the register for me, which was nice. I was pleasantly surprised because I have been treated like I can't afford what I'm buying, possibly because I look like I'm in my early teens despite being in my twenties (I've even been accused of stealing a parent's credit card because I "don't look old enough to have one"). The return policy isn't great, but since I always make sure to ask about it before purchasing any items, I didn't have any negative surprises like many other reviewers. I'm very happy with my purchase and will likely return to this location. I just wish I'd caught the names of the girls who helped me because they were super helpful. read more

This may be hard to believe, but I'm clueless about fashion except I know I love the bimbo look. Usually the girls here apologetically tell me they "don't really have anything super slutty" (yes, I've walked in here asking for ass-revealing frocks enough times for them to know my preference). Oh well, I guess it doesn't hurt for me to try to look like a decent human being once in a while. The selection here is vastly composed of casual stretchy cotton apparel that is nondescript enough for everyday wear. If you look hard enough, you will find a small variety of going-out pieces that lean a bit toward the basic side - perfect for wanting to look cute but not too flashy. Well, other than amazing clothes and neat displays, this place was quite a disappointment. Sad to say. I came in here expecting to walk out with a few good pieces, but I'm a firm believer of a little something called "Customer Service" and Aritzia lacked this little something. Soon as I walked in, I felt like the associates eyed me head to toe and pretty much figure that I wasn't worth helping. I've never felt so invisible or just plain unwanted! It's never a great feeling and I'm never going back here again. I will never want to pay for associates to snob me and other guests by the hour. I really like the clothes that Aritzia sells. They're cute, not too flashy, stylish, and trendy! I always love their tops, dresses, and jackets. They also carry name brand jeans like True Religions and you can usually find them on sale towards the end of the season. The employees are also pretty friendly and greet me every time i come in. So why the three stars? I dont know if i just have bad luck with this place but many things that i've bought here have gotten tears and holes! =( I bought these cheap monday jeans that were on sale and now they have a hole in my back pocket! I also bought a tank top and now the flowers are faded, there's a hole towards the bottom, and the material is just horrible after one wash! Prices are also pretty steep here, i usually buy things only if they're on sale...even the sale prices are a bit expensive. I've shopped at Aritzia a few times. Their clothes are adorable! However, they are pretty pricey. That being said, when I purchase something from here, I expect the quality of the clothing to be good. However, almost all of the things that I have purchased here have torn, snagged, had loose seams, or is made with super cheap materials. Did I mention the return policy? They have a terrible return policy that I would not expect from such a pricey store. I think even Forever 21's policy is better than theirs. They do not allow you to return or exchange for sale items, and they only allow 10 days for return or exchange for full-price items. The staff here isn't the best. In fact, either they are all a bit shy, or rather full of themselves. I also really don't like how much paper this store wastes. Both in the store and when I order online. Everything is wrapped in tons of tissue paper and and then covered in plastic. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! The girls here are nothing but sweet when you want to BUY something but don't ever think of returning at this place. The salesgirls will actually ARGUE with you about returning something. Now I'm not a shady customer and I've worked retail before (on commission too) so I know that it can be a little disappointing when customers return things but you should still deliver the same customer service to people who are buying and returning. During their sales, everyone gets excited to buy stuff here but the salesgirls won't tell you that you can't return or exchange these items. They ring you up for final sale without letting you know. Hello? Don't you think that's an important piece of information?! I tried to return something after their Black Friday sale and the "manager" working there argued with me for at least 10 minutes that it was final sale. If you don't tell me it's final sale at point of sale or circle the return policy on the back of the receipt, your stupid policy doesn't apply to me! One of my good friends tried to return something she had ordered from this store and the salesgirl accused her of wearing the jacket. When my friend told her she had never worn it and she had all the tags attached with the original receipt, the girl accused her of re-attaching the tags!!! She accused her of FRAUD. Dope styles from different price ranges. You can get your over priced expensivo jeans and your under 60 dollar basic top or sweater all in one store! They also carry cute sporty looking hand bags. I love everything about this store- the decorations, colors, music, oh and of course, the clothing ;) I've been a loyal customer since the day they opened. However, the people working here can really be quite a turn-off. For some reason over the years they've been hiring girls who are more condescending than the last. My favorite sales associate here is Kristine. She is hands down the best- super friendly and actually remembers what is going on in your life to chat with you. She never pressures me into buying anything like some of the other girls. Gina is another great sales associate, I always want to buy whatever she is wearing! She has helped me a number of times now, giving me good advice/suggestions whenever I'm indecisive. Clothing-wise, I love their style. The material is fantastic, and construction is top-notch. I haven't had any problems with unraveled seams or random holes in my clothing like those at urban. I do wish they would change up their style from time to time, seeing as I have multiples of the same style in different prints for each season. I can't bring myself to buy anything here knowing that I can get it for $20 at Forever. Plus, most of it is trendy and will be out in a couple of years, if even. Clean store with a good selection, though. Like I said, it's all very trendy with a couple of basics here and there. Big complaint is that there are no mirrors in the dressing rooms. Which of course forces you to come out and have the sales ladies tell you how OMG FABULOUS/ADORABLE/CHIC you look. Also, I like to try on tops and normally I go shopping in dresses = huge problem. Because now I have to get pants to try on, too. And OH how creative of the sales team, because I might like the pants I try on! Or... I might be bitter that I can't try on clothes without someone breathing down my neck. I'm sort of over the intense customer service here. And at most places, like Betsey Johnson for example, they don't bother me once they see that I'm not trying to make small talk. Swear to God every time I go in there I get asked at LEAST 4 times about what I think of the weather today. For the love of all things holy... if I was short with you the first time I will not be nice about it when you ask me again 4 minutes later so PLEASE let me browse your overpriced store in PEACE. Artizia is from Vancouver (Canada) and this location is one of the first two in the US (the other one is in Bellevue, WA). I hadn't heard of it so I thought I would take a peek. The store carries mostly hoodies and jeans. I spotted some outerwear like parkas and jackets. The jersey tops are $30 - $35, so it's not super cheap. I didn't look too closely but I read that they carry expensive embellished denim. Apparently each store has an in-store DJ though I didn't notice one while I was there. I did think that the music was loud and annoying, so perhaps the DJ was there. I was eager to leave the store. I see 15-25 year olds wearing it. I don't think it's going to take off here but I'm not the target market. I don't even wear jeans. However, I wish them luck because they are Canadian. read more

I actually like almost everyone in this location. However yesterday I had a very bad experience there. Two weeks ago I bought a three pairs of pants. One pair was on sale and it was a final sale. After coming home and trying the sale pants I did not like it and I knew I couldn't do anything about it. A week ago I went back for returning one of the regular price pairs as I was doing my return I asked the cashier and other girl next to about my situation with the final sale pants. I told them I was aware the pants was final. They told me just bring them in snd we will exchange it for the another item. We want you to like your purchase. I was there yesterday and bought a dress and a hat. As I was paying for those items I asked to change my pants. I told cashier what her colleague told me last week about. All the sudden one of the young manager name Anza, told me we don't exchange final sale and we won't use those vocabulary or verbiage. She was basically implying I was making it up. I finished my transaction and pulled her aside to talk to her. Honestly I didn't care about the return. It was her whole attitude. I told her I was not that desperate to make up a lie. She was so rude that had no remorse to say sorry, not even once. I said as a manager you could have told me no sorry those employees made a mistake and we never do any exchanges in final sales. She was still kept her condescending attitude. I asked her for upper manager name. I will be calling her. read more

Oh Aritzia... When I was dragged into this store by my friend, I thought I'd be bored out of my mind just like at any store. But this store was different... The first thing that hooked me into staying at this store was the background music. It wasn't JUST your average top 40 songs from a playlist. It was a mix of various dance songs and top 40 songs from some DJ group associated with producing music for this store! I don't know about you, but for a dance music aficionado like me, if you can get my feet tapping while I'm browsing, I'm likely to stay a LOT longer. Their clothes, albeit simple, have a sophisticated, trendy feel to them that look pleasing to the eye and style! If you're more of a beach person, this store is definitely not for you. Alas, the price of paying for such sophistication is pretty much an arm and leg. 3 shirts alone can set you back $100. You can tell how the quality in relation to price is by their return policy. And Aritzia's return policy sucks: only accepts returns/refunds after 10 days from date of purchase. After that, you get store credit after 21 days. My boyfriend bought me this coat from Aritzia - very cute and fit to a T (XXS baby!). The material isn't as thick as I would like it and it's really cold nowadays!! Does the trick but for the price he paid and the quality of the product --- I don't think it's worth it. A button fell off after the first day!! Nice variety of clothing but some items look too plain for the price they're asking for. Although they do have a nice selection of denim (PAIGE!). This place is the worst with return and or exchange policy. Once they give you a small discount i.e $20, you CANNOT exchange or refund even after a few days. And they do not even tell you that there is no refund or exchange. You are expected to know this. AT least warn your customers. But again, do you expect that from a high-end store?? Spent over $600 and they would not even let us exchange!!!. Horrible service, horrible policy. At this Valley Fair spot, their clothes are poorly presented and squished in on the racks making you feel like you're at a F21 & have your rack-searching work cut out for you. The items in this store seem to be very overpriced as well... more casual, San Diego-style stuff that definitely doesn't fit the $100/$150 pricetags. Their SF location seems to have a much, much nicer selection. In addition, their staff has hardly ever been very friendly nor helpful (except on only one occasion). And finally... It's sorta sad when you walk into a store and the employees can remember you and the clothes you bought there. This is the case just about every time I walk into Aritzia. Aritzia offers a good variety of cute and trendy clothing. Styles range from casual to stuff for going out. I usually find cute tops, sweaters, and my biggest weakness... denim. There's also usually a good range of sizes available. Most of the girls there are pretty helpful and friendly. One thing I can think of that someone may not appreciate is the lack of mirrors inside the dressing rooms. Yup... you gotta strut out in front of the big mirror where everyone else can see. Not exactly the way I would like to discover something looking really unflattering or unfitting. Oh well... Things tend to be a little on the pricier side with occasional sales. Basically, my wallet cries because of Aritzia. I wish my wardrobe could covert to this store... if only I had the money! Anyway, I always stop by here because I just love the simple, yet eccentric design. Don't feel discouraged from the XXS and XS sizes - they tend to run big. Most importantly!!! - Sometimes they have really good sales, which result in a pretty decent price. You should especially check out the premium denim jeans during the sales because you can get them up to 60% off!! So be patient, and wait for the sales! The service is VERY accommodating, but personally, I feel uncomfortable when a salesperson tries to get me to try on other clothes and keep nagging at me. I even get surprised that they even remember me. Is it because I shop here too often? Or they just have great service? So far I've purchased two cashmere cardigans and a bat-wing sweater thing here. I would have NEVER purchased a bat-wing anything but the salesgirl talked me into trying it on and I loved the look! This store is more of a boutique type thing, so I was surprised to see it at the mall. They have mostly jeans (higher end ones) and all sorts of jackets (TNA?) shirts and tanks ranging from $30+. My shopping experience there started with me (dressed in my workout clothing, nothing too shabby though) entering the store with one of the girls saying hi. I browsed for awhile, found a cute tank top then headed for the dressing rooms. I stood there for a good 10 minutes? maybe longer..but as I stood there all the sales girls just talked amongst themselves and one girl kept looking at me, maybe 4 times? I finally got a little annoyed and went up to her, she pretended to not have seen me (yeah right) and then got me my room. She is the tiny, caucasian one, very thin, with lighter brown hair, she seemed not too friendly. So I tried it on, it was cute so i decided to buy it, even thought I didn't want to give these snots my money. This is one of my pet peeves, sales associates that ignore you. So i went there over the weekend just to check what they have in-store. The staff were so nice and friendly which makes the whole shopping experience great.I love this jacket so much but didn't want the one out so one of their SA offered to order it online and then ship it to my house. Being someone who works for retail i appreciate people who give 5 star customer service. As a boutique, Aritzia is more carefully curated than most stores, so obviously their selection will be somewhat limited. The clothing here is very sparsely embellished and feels sporty to me. That might appeal to some girls, but sporty is not my style. Regardless of style, though, I still feel like the selection at Aritzia has gone somewhat downhill. When they first opened, they had items that, despite their simplicity, seemed unique. For example, I always get complimented on this cute, menswearish cardigan that I bought here. Now most of the items here look generic. I haven't bought something in ages. I will give Aritzia kudos to the fact that they stock extra small sizes, though. And I like their denim collection. They carry tons of R&R, one of my favorite brands! read more

Pros: I think this store is so cute and fresh. The clothes is like a early 20s to late 30s type of clothing. They have very lovely solids and sportswear here! The clothes is different than what you can find the rest of the mall. I also love the cute decor of the store and how the white lights make the store so bright. Everything is extremely organize, so if you like something, you'll instantly be able to find if the size is there too without moving racks. Cons: The price is a little hefty knowing that they carry a lot of similar name-brand denims like Nordstrom and other retail stores. The service is a mixture between well-serviced and over the top to annoying. They constantly bother you while you're shopping and in the fitting room like you have never gone shopping before. I know commission = $, but it gets irritating. Recommendations: Go here during a sale, it is easy to register to their sale event. When they have a sale the price can be pretty manageable. As for the sales people, you just have to tell them no means "NO!". So bug off! Other than that, this store is pretty refreshing and you will find simple contemporary clothing. read more

She was extremely helpful during the return process and even let me know some special care instructions for my handmade cardigan that would totally impact its longevity. Ugh I had to write an update as a response to some of the other reviews. Yes, it is pricey, but the quality is undeniable. I have grown out of shopping at Forever because I would like for my clothes to survive two wash cycles. And, no, the clothing at Aritzia is not going out of style any time soon. Most of their clothing, especially the Talula and Wilfred brands, are timeless pieces that make great essentials to any wardrobe. One more thing, yes, they carry XXS but they also carry L so stop accusing the store for catering to skinny girls. Also, being XXS doesn't make you anorexic! Some girls are just petite!! I still agree that it is pricey, but, in the end, it's worth it to me. They have a big sale in the summer, but the only items that go on sale are their staples. You can actually ask the reps and they will tell you what items are likely to go on sale. However, don't necessarily hesitate to buy that blouse you've been eying because they might not have that size available during the sale! read more
