Our air conditioning unit went out this summer, so we needed a brand new unit. After getting several quotes we chose to go with Arizona Air Experts, and we are glad we did. We spent lots of time researching air conditioning units and installers, and we feel we ended up with a great product for our needs, and also at a really great price. Some other companies came and some sounded great and offered some "white glove" touches, but Arizona Air Experts also included pretty much all of the same things, but the cost for a great quality product (American Standard) was significantly less expensive. We had our AC unit replaced a few weeks ago, when our old unit was struggling to keep up with the current heat wave. We used Arizona Air Experts once before about two years ago, and were so impressed with the timely response, the quick resolution of our problem and the reasonable price that we called them back this time when our AC unit started blowing warm air. The nice woman in the office called right back, and scheduled Randy to come out the next morning. He showed up exactly on time, and I decided it would be a good time to replace our 17-yr old unit with a new one, and he scheduled us for a week later. In the meantime, he gave me pointers to keep the old compressor cooled down to last us through the next week, and we were able to make It through the wait in relative comfort. Randy always shows up right when he says he will. He's a good communicator, explains things very well, and his default mode seems to be to save you money wherever possible. He never tries to upsell to more expensive equipment than you need, and won't try to talk you into a maintenance contract. (He thinks yearly checkups are unnecessary. ) He will be our first call next time we need help with anything HVAC. read more

When I called this morning at 6am, the man on the phone was very nice. I explained that I have 3 dogs, so I had to be home and safe. He told me to turn off my air conditioner and someone would be out by 9. At 8:30am, I got a phone call from one of the rudest people I can remember speaking to. He asked if I had called other places. I said, 'No, I didn't know that I was supposed to.' At that point he got so argumentative with me, and every question he asked he got angrier at my responses. I cancelled the service. Blocked drain pipe that was supposed to convey water from HVAC drain pan led to several gallons of water pooling beneath the indoor air conditioning unit & flooding the adjacent bathroom. Our son-in-law, an industrial plumber, strongly recommended Randy from Arizona Air Experts, who provided next-day service at 7:30 AM! Randy quickly discovered the problem: the drainage pipe conveying condensate water to the outdoors was BURIED and full of debris rather than draining onto the surface of the yard! He dug out the improperly installed drain pipe, cleared it with air pressure, tested it by pouring several gallons of water through the line, added appropriate fittings to prevent recurrence, and left everything shipshape--all for the very reasonable cost of a service charge. Caleb is simply the best in the business. He was extremely prompt and professional. He gave my full A/C and heating system a look over. His inspection lasted about an hour. He then gave me a full list of things that needed to be done, in order of precedence. He told me honestly what should be addressed and what could wait. He is extremely cautions to work cleanly. When he brought in a ladder to access the attic, he laid down a rug so his ladder wouldn't touch our floors. When he came in to give us the bill, he took his shoes off. Darrin , the business owner , came out on short notice, had me on the roof walking me through every question I had. He did all his diagnostic and visual inspection and determined what was wrong. I met Caleb several years ago when I rented a house in surprise and he did all the spring checks on my unit. When I bought my home in 2012 I trusted him so much I had him come to check my AC for me. I use Caleb every year for my spring check ups and any other work that needs to get done that is not covered under my home warranty. These guys were awesome! I originally called another company just to service the a/c and he was a no show so I forgot to call another company and today my air stopped working. I called Arizona Air Experts and they came out and fixed my air. They discovered there was a short that caused my thermostat to break. We had other companies come out and look at our AC unit because it had stopped working. We were told by 3 different companies we had a bad unit, and a leak in our system because we were missing about 10 pounds of coolant. All three companies recommended replacing the AC unit, which would have cost about $8000 to get our AC working again. Upon a referral from a friend, we called Arizona Air Experts. Caleb came out and spent almost 2 hours investigating the issue. We had a value that was creating a blockage, so our system wasn't working correctly. Caleb came by the next night after 6pm and stayed until he replaced the bad part in our system, and added the coolant that was needed. He could have tried to up sell us like the 3 other companies with saying we needed 10 pounds of coolant, at $150 a pound. He could have said we needed a whole new AC unit, which would have cost thousands of dollars, just like the other 3 companies said. He didn't. He simply was honest, found the root cause of our issue and fixed it. The whole job was about 15% of what the 3 other companies wanted to charge. It was great working with someone who really takes pride in their work, is knowledgable and honest. I won't call any other AC company again, and will refer anyone and everyone I know to Arizona Air Experts! read more

I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. July 29, 2020 It must have been a bad day for Randy. Randy showed at a residential home in Agua Fria Youngtown to do an a/c diagnostic, and after diagnostic, scheduled to come back the next day. Randy called me (the landlord) about the repair requirements and said that my "tenant is a liar, and didnt change out the filter. You have a burned out broken blower in the attic". He showed up the next evening at 10pm to do the A/C repair . Walked in thru the house to the back side a/c unit, followed by the tenant. Randy took the cover off, and said "you've got worse problems". Tenant asked "what is the problem, that wasnt what was broke yesterday in the attic?", and then Randy's reply came out "I dont have to take this, I dont give a fxxx, you can fix your fxxxxxx A/C yourself !" Left the a/c disassembled, walked out to his truck followed by the single mom tenant begging to please just fix the a/c. He was gone in about 10-15 minutes. Leaving my tenant in tears. That single mom and 2 kids tried to sleep in 95 degree air that night. I called the next day to the office where the wife Marie said " he was abused and he will call you" end of call. Summary: Randy lost his "cool" composure after a long hot day (a/c is his business) and now- we want to let you know- there is something mentally wrong with this guy.
