My beloved 1994 Cannondale F500 has been in storage for a couple of years and went to ride it, but the shifters were gummed up, brake pads have hardened up, etc - ugh. I've known Ryan since 2009 and now that he fired up his store it was time to give him some business. Turned out he was not at the shop but everyone there were warm, friendly and helpful! This is an easy five-star review to write. Nicely laid out shop with a great selection of bikes. In several visits, I didn't meet a single person that didn't show knowledge and a true love of cycling. After a few conversations, and riding a few bikes, Ryan ordered me a new SJ with GX AXS. Carbon rims. Fair price, and lots of grins. A week later his crew put the same drivetrain on my wife's Santa Cruz TB. Again, at a fair price with lots of smiles. Great Folks! I came here to ask for help to blow up a large physical therapy ball. They did everything possible to help me, since the ball's nozzle isn't common. Four different people worked together to figure out how to fill this huge ball and finally succeeded. Then, omg, they wouldn't charge me and said they were happy to help. Hands down the best bicycle shop in Tucson. This place is AMAZING. I shopped around for a mountain bike for a long time and has gone to tons of other bicycle shops in Tucson, but none compare to this place. The employees are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. They have great advice and were even willing to match online deals we found. They were so affordable and fair with prices. We have purchased two mountain bikes from them, and they were absolutely incredible from the moment we started shopping, to ordering, communicating, and assembling our bikes for us. We are so happy with our purchases (and the amount we spent). Seriously can't recommend them enough. They are seriously THE place to go for all biking needs. Ryan and another mechanic were very helpful in changing out the valve stems on my 700x25 tubeless tires after one of my valve stems started leaking. (Another shop wanted me to leave the wheels with them for 6 days!) They fixed the issue while I waited and their parts and labor prices were very reasonable. Booo. What a complete and utter disappointment. I bought a $4k bike from this shop. They were great at the sales end. 2 rides later I discovered a manufacturer defect w the bolts in the fork and I couldn't attach any gear to the braze-ons. I had a bikepack planned (months in the planning) but it was more than a month out so I wasn't worried. I brought my bike in and was assured by the owner that they would warranty the fork if needed. A few weeks later they told me to come get my bike - they were waiting on bolts from Niner. I still wasn't concerned. I never heard back from CS so I started calling (4-5x over a several week period of time). Mechanic said the bolts were on their way. On another call I spoke with a woman who was completely unprofessional and unhelpful. She told me to call Niner myself and said they only call their rep and they hadn't heard from him. She said she'd call me back and never did. I called again and spoke to her. She said the owner would try to get bolts elsewhere. She said they would call me back. It'a been 2 weeks - crickets. They knew I needed it fixed by 4/1. They NEVER FOLLOWED UP. I took it to Fairwheel and they fixed it within 2 days. They spoke to Niner and confirmed it would be under warranty if needed. FW got bolts from a machine shop and I had to pay $40 to overnight the bolts if I wanted it completed before my trip. Obviously I paid it. My friends now know about this experience and will never shop at CS. One friend is cancelling her Niner order w them. I will literally drive to Phx to avoid this shop. Never in my life have I experienced such terrible customer service. Word travels CS. Lesson learned for me - I should have listened to others who told me never to shop at CS. read more

Very elitist. Refused to tell me their price ranges; instead asked me how much money I have. I told him I have plenty of money. Even when he finally told me how much their cheapest bike was (around $700) and I told him I had the money and I asked if he would sell to me, he looked me up and down and said "sorry, no" in a very condescending manner. Guess these guys don't work with people who aren't seasoned pros or aren't dressed like they have a lot of money. Took my business elsewhere and had a great experience with people that were very helpful and gave me the rundown on everything I needed to know. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of one was because he at least he directed me to another cycle shop not far away. Never stepping foot in there again. read more
