Kelly M.

My experience with Arizona Screen techs has been an overall great experience. I purchased a property that was in great need of some repairs and in real need of attention to old worn out screens and missing on many windows. I also was desperate to get some additional heat regulation for the home as the property is South facing and sweltering in summer. I received multiple quotes/ other recommendations before choosing Arizona Screen Techs for the job. Their pricing was more affordable than all the other quotes but the way I was treated with such respect was so appreciated as a single mom. Ben was so kind , patient and professional from the first meeting to the last screen installment . Josh , his partner is equally professional and also goes out of his way to make sure the job is done to perfection. They work very well together and both offer their own attributes and experience to the job. I had Sun Shades installed on every window of my home and new screen slider doors on my back entry doors . The screens all look transparent and are sealed so tightly those dreaded scorpions will have a hard time getting inside now, which is an extra bonus and peace of mind for me . My home is considerably cooler now than before and Im so happy I went this route as opposed to tinted film on the windows. I also had them install sliding screen doors behind my bedroom french doors where there were no screen doors prior as this space connected to my outdoor atrium so I could enjoy opening the doors for additional ventilation . The custom tracking Ben built for the new sliding screens was absolutely amazing and measured so perfectly and he was so articulate that it looks better than I could have ever imagined, all bulit custom . The metal work they do at their shop is made with such craftsman skill its unbelievable actually. These guys really care about doing an expert job , the quality of their work and finished products , but most importantly they care more about their clients overall satisfaction than anything else. They went above and beyond and because all their other installments were so great I had them put in an additional new sliding screen door in my bathroom as that was also needed . The screen sliders on all my doors work so well and glide effortlessly and lock really well. Ill miss them as no more screens to put on but I cannot express enough that you will be so satisfied with this company you will want to tell all your friends to "Get New Screens!!" Sincerely, Kelly M

I am so happy with the quality of screens AND customer service from AZ Screen Techs. I met with two other companies, this one was last and I am so glad I got the third quote. Prices were all about the same, but Ben was patient in listening, answering my questions and making sure I got exactly what I wanted. He was easy to communicate with and they were very efficient in ordering and installing the screens. I wanted a very specific screen style on our very 90s house--I didn't want multiple screens and clips on each window. One company said they couldn't do it, one company just acted like it was impossible! Ben listened to what I wanted, and helped find a way to get it done, and it turned out perfectly. AND our power bill in the middle of the summer already went down over $150--which was much more than we were expecting.

Great small business to deal with. The screens were very professionally made. The price was very reasonable. Thanks to Ben.

These are some of my windows that they did screens on. Everything fit really well and the screen frames match my window frames perfectly.

We currently live in Prescott, AZ. We have lived in Arizona for over 33 years. During that time…read morewe have owned 5 homes, 4 of which we've had built. Each time we have had First Impressions build our security doors and entry gates. We absolutely love their products. I believe that First Impressions is under new ownership in the past few years and since that time, we've noticed a marked improvement in their doors--not that they weren't always nice. My husband and I would never use any other custom, iron door company. Folks in northern Arizona, if you're considering adding an iron front door, security door, gates etc., you absolutely should consult with First Impressions before ever making a final decision. You won't regret it! Before settling permanently in Prescott, we bought a summer place in Prescott Valley, AZ. My first experience with a local security door company was less than ideal and their product didn't come close to the choices and quality of First Impressions products. Then I called First Impressions and was so relieved to find that they do in fact service the Tri-City area. They built me a beautiful door for my Prescott Valley home. They now have built me 3 security doors and a lovely entry gate in Prescott. First Impressions can also be seen at the local Home Show at Findlay Center and some of the events held at the Prescott Courthouse Square. But, don't wait for a show, contact them by phone or on their website and get a personal home visit which will be professional, educational and an enjoyable experience. They are the best in the business!!!!

The quality of the material and the recommendation to add the screen for pets was clutch. The pricing is competitive, and the quality is amazing. Professional, responsive, and value....yes mister!

I had a tough cabinet repair underneath my sink in my kitchen after the restoration company broke…read morethe countertop. Instead of using the restoration company's contractor Gary gave a great discounted price on the job and was in and out within a few hours. Highly reccomended!

Reading some of Gary's negative reviews it seems that a lot of people have had similar experiences…read more Gary might be able to do some quality work, but I wouldn't know because he's just not professional at all. We reached out to Gary after buying a new house in Arcadia a while back and he told us that whenever we were ready he could help us with installing ceiling fans, blinds, and whatever we may need (score!) but when we called him back to schedule something he was sick and told me he would call me back in a week. A week goes by with no phone call, so I call him-- but no answer... and his vm is full. so I waited a couple more days and called him again, still no answer; so this time I followed up with a text asking if he was still interested in helping us out with our handyman needs and he replied yes and to let him know when we would like him to come help. Perfect! I called him when I got back to Phoenix and he didn't answer (of course), so I texted asking when he was available and he asked if he could schedule me in for between 1-2pm on Thursday. Yes I replied, then I texted asking him a couple questions about estimates for hanging large blinds and included photos. He ignored my texts that night about the quote/estimate altogether, so I texted asking if he received my messages requesting an estimate to which he replied "Yes, I'll look at them when I'm at your house." (Not really an answer or estimate- kind of slippery). So today rolls around and of course I'm at home waiting on this handyman to show up (of course I organized my day around him) 14 minutes before he was due for our appointment, he cancels. He says: "Can we meet Saturday 9-930? Caught up in work." (No apology for the inconvenience, or wasting my time, just a crap text). Me: "You know Gary, let me talk to my boyfriend about it. After reading your Yelp! reviews we expected a little more professionalism to be honest." He says: "Well I've been sick for the last month and been out of commission. I've been trying to catch up on my jobs. Sorry if you feel that way. I know I can't make everyone happy. Me: "It's not a feeling. You cancelled 15 minutes before you were scheduled to show up and have been unresponsive and not very communicative with me. Those are facts. While I understand it's impossible to make everybody happy, you could do a much better job by being a little more professional. Then-- radio silence. Gary, you can make customers happy; how about apologizing when you're wrong and unprofessional instead of #1: making excuses, then #2: blaming me, or acting like I'm the one with unrealistic expectations when I've accommodated the date and time YOU chose and then flaked on. Would not recommend.
