About a 2-2.5: We were really excited to check out Arlington Kabob, as this place has been around for a while, and it seems to be a local favorite. We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +a Combo Platter for 2 - this came with chicken kofta, beef kofta, and a choice of chicken, lamb, or beef kabob - we went for the beef; for the sides, we went for the potatoes and the lentil soup, and for the rice, we went Quabli style Out of all the meats, we thought the chicken kofta had the best flavor; both the beef kofta and the kabob were just 'okay'; the beef kofta had a more game-y flavor - not sure if they had mixed it up with lamb first; the beef kabob was overcooked and dried out, more on the chewy end, which was not enjoyable. The Quabli-style rice didn't really enhance anything - the carrots were way too soft, and there were hardly any currants, which was disappointing. Potatoes were forgettable, as they were bland; the lentil soup was piping hot, but could have had more lentils - it seemed like just broth with just a spoonful of lentils in it. The white sauce was more dill-heavy and ranch-like which didn't complement the kabobs and the kofta at all. There was complimentary tea for those who dine-in, which was nice, but the tea wasn't steeped well and was too watered down. Staff were friendly, and there's limited parking in the tight strip plaza lot. +chicken kofta +game-y beef kofta +dried-out/overcooked beef kabob +avoid the Quabli style rice +friendly staff +limited parking in lot available

Arlington Kabob is legendary but it's taken me a while to try it out. I'm used to Persian flavors but heard so many good things about Arlington Kabob. We ordered a variety of dishes and everyone was pleased. Gyro was seasoned well and lasted me two days (saved some for lunch the next day). Naan/bread was soft and fluffy, even for a pick up order (they can deflate a bit but these kept their structure/flavor). Side order of potatoes were like a stew, very flavorful and hearty. Of course Kabobs were necessary- generous portions and very flavorful! It's a classic place for a reason!

I have been coming here for years and it is absolutely the best kofta / kafta I've ever had. I have went to every high rated kebab shop up and down the east coast and nothing compares to Arlington Kabob. Their kebabs are seasoned perfect and cooked well, with a little char broil that makes them extra phenomenal. The bread they make is also incredible and not enough can be said for their dipping sauces, which are mouth watering. The rice and veggies on the side are always exceptional as well. They are always friendly and attentive, and it is nice to see them expand the front area over the years. I cannot say enough good things about Arlington Kabob. I am extremely picky and I stop here every time I am in Virginia, sometimes even driving out of my way just to get take out from here.

I went here for the first time with my son. I got the chicken kabob platter and my son got the gyro. Both were excellent. The chicken was marinated and seasoned very nicely and stayed moist after cooking. My son said the gyro was chock full of meat and served in their homemade bread. I would go back for sure. If you like Moby Dicks, you will love this place.

Arlington kebab has been a staple in my household for at least a decade. It always hits and is a reliable place for pick-up. I get the lamb kebab which is delicious. Even the rice and naan are good. I can't say I've ever been inside because someone else always picks it up, but there have been no issues with service as far as I'm concerned. Their leftovers also always hold up well. I recommend!

Still one of my go to places. It's comfort food for me. They are very consistent with the flavor and quality of their food. My most recent order included a chicken kebab with spinach, stew, and potato stew,, lentil, soup, and a vegetable kebab. Everything was really good, as always.

We got takeout for dinner and tried the chicken kabob and beef kabob. They come with rice, naan, and a vegetable (we tried the chickpeas and salad). The beef kabob was very tender!!! The chicken was just okay but i think it's hard to make an impressive chicken. The bread was really really good especially with the green sauce they give you! We wish it had a spicy sauce or something for the rice. We placed our order over the phone and it was ready fast - very convenient and good service.

One of my favorite kabob restaurants in the DMV area! Ordered the salmon & beef platter and it was so flavorful and delicious!

A regular stop for us. My go to order is the salmon with chickpeas on the side. Super juicy and perfectly seasoned salmon that is a decent size. I pour the chick peas over my rice and, this really hit the spot. This and Shah are my favorite two kabab style spots in the area, although Arlington's Grilled Salmon is better than the fried fish at Shah's if that's what you are looking for.

I ordered food here multiple times both dine in and take out and each time was a great experience. Staff was very quick to take order even on the phone. There is ample space and tables to eat. My in laws tried also the chicken kofta, beef Kofta, and the kabobs and they loved it. I recommend getting the platters such as for 4 people since it has a lot of food for good value. Naan and baklava were amazing too. The sauces on the side were very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

We had to flag down various servers throughout the evening, as we were never checked on. Arrogant and condescending servers when we got their attention. Huge disappointment; food was good, but the service was probably some of the worst we've ever experienced. Like they were doing US a favor when they designed to notice us. As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

Got a combo of chicken kabob and shami kabob along with a side of their borani banjan/eggplant dish. The eggplant was honestly one of my favorite things- it's a must get in my opinion. Homey dish with incredible flavors! Their naan is fresh and pairs well with it. The chicken was good, but I've had better honestly. The shami was a little disappointing as I expected more flavor and it was slightly dry, but good. Their rice was so tasty and I loved the sweetness coming from the carrots an raisins. Of course, the sheeryakh was great- quite a big portion for one person, but I loved the texture. It tastes very similar to the Indian/South Asian/Pakistani ice cream, "Kulfi." CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Service needs improvement. The whole time I was there I had to keep looking for waiters to make eye contact with to ask for menu, water, paying, etc. It took about 10 min or more for me to have to call a busy waiter over just to look at the menu- no one came over on their own. Things just took time for a Saturday night- plus they were hosting an event on top of this. Needless to say, I've never had service like this, but the vibe and food made me be not as harsh. The meal looked nothing like the photo on the restaurant's website. The portion was overwhelmingly rice with very little meat. None of the garnishes shown in the picture were included on the rice. For $24 I expected a much better presentation and a more balanced portion. Oh and the meat was kind of dry. Parts of our order were missing, some dishes that came out were incorrect.
