Me encanta la comida arabe pero este lugar es el peor al que ido. No se lo recomiendo a nadie......

Both Chicken and kofta are 10/10. Beef kabobs were a bit dry and chewy. Bread was amazing. Service and speed of food delivery to the table was great.

Came here on my way home after work on a Monday around 7pm. I actualy thought this place was Mogul at first. The exterior is very unassuming and one could easily deduce this place epitomizes hole in the wall restaurants. I ordered the number 3 meal which included chicken and beef kabobs over rice. Total came out to $12.55 which in my opinion is way over priced. When I got home to sample this meal I was sorely disappointed at how bland the basmati rice was, and how dry and flavorless the chicken was. The ground beef kabob was the only thing that tasted okay. I would not recommend this place when you have much cheaper and much better alternatives such as Mirage which is just a block or two down the street. Mogul is also very close-by and offers good food too.

#15 Chicken Kabob Platter Kabob Platter (Lamb was on another plate hence not shown)

Amazing hole in the wall kabob place. Beats many of the other places I have been too (Moby Dick, Ravi Kabob and the likes). Got #15 the Chicken and Lamb platter and loved it. The side chickpeas were a little bland for me (needed salt and spice), but overall the food was delicious. The meat is grilled to perfection (no joke). The green sauce they give you is hot and I am Indian so eat sparingly. I wish they also provided the tzatziki sauce with the platter so had to ask for it. The side salad goes well, so does the grilled tomato and onions. The bread is toasted and warmed very nicely. I highly recommend the platter. The chicken sandwich was good too. I liked the platter a whole lot more. The ambiance is not the greatest, but honestly the tasty food makes up for it.

I started visiting Bread and Kabob in the very early 2000. Back when Tony s Pizza was the place to go and Baileys Crossroad felt like downtown somewhere. I must admit this place used to be IT. the old reviews are definetely accurate and tales of a time that is now LONG GONE. The place is now a mediocre eatery at best and staff and management a complete joke. They seem to hire the least motivated workers the world has to offer. My food was actually burnt, with chicken so hard it was hard to chew. Lastly their price do not reflect the lousy food and service that they bring into your life. No longer worth the detour. I am very certain that there are worthwhile restaurants out there. We will not be returning there.

Very convenient to me, right off of route 7 in Falls Church. The food is super! And cheaper than other fancy restaurants. Love the free Persian style tea. People are very nice.

It doesn't come with bread so order the dang bread separate.

Don't order through uber eats. Their menu items are listed wrong and they won't refund/fix order. Also try not to order 2 of things if you have to order delivery cuz they'll only send one!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant…read more This Yemeni/Lebanese restaurant is located in a small strip mall in Falls Church, definitely had to use google maps. The outside looks simple/plain, but the inside is just exquisite, sets the mood. The place was pretty much empty when we came (except for 2 tables), but I'm sure they are very lively at night, especially with the happy hour. We came strictly for the crème brûlée iced latte and the milk cake. The drink is made with whole milk, I wish I asked for an alternative/non-dairy milk, but otherwise the drink was perfect. I appreciate the barista/chef made extra effort to make it perfect, especially because I was recording/taking pics. I wanted to try the nutella or pistachio milk cake, but they only had saffron and fruity pebble, so saffron was the winner. It was pretty good, but I wasn't a big fan of the toppings. The customer service was good, the server taking orders didn't really understand our request, so he had to bring out the barista/chef making the drink. Otherwise, they both were attentive and friendly. There is some parking available in front of the strip mall, but I'm sure it can get packed during peak time. Would I return? probably not because it was too far and quite pricey.

For some reason, they were out of salad, which was a really weird thing, but also that meant that all of their salad dishes were absent. Thus, when we ordered the lamb Mandi...it just came with meat and rice.... The samosas were good. I would choose the one with the meat crispy on the inside with a little bit of meat filling. I was very impressed by the lotus latte. Keep in mind that it is just the biscoff cookie Latte, but it was very sweet and still have the coffee taste. What really came for was the saffron milk cake. We also got the fruity pebble milkshake because we misunderstood the waiter and thought he said bubble tea milk cake and we were interested. The fruity pebble milk cake is probably just good for the kids who like really sweet cereals--wouldn't recommend. The saffron milk cake was more fragrant, and to my friend it actually tasted sweeter. It's like a Tres leches cake but mixed with more middle eastern flavors and fragrances

You can also make your shawarma spicy with a red hot pepper relish. When they are preparing your shawarma you get to pick which items you want (kind of like Chipotle- but MUCH better). Both were absolutely delicious. The meat is delicately spiced and not overcooked- moist and flavorful. We got the combo which comes with fries and a soda. Fries are nothing special so you can skip them because the important thing to know is that these shawarma are HUGE! I could barely eat half of mine. It's a very good value for the price. We were going to try one of their platters and get the mixed grill which comes with rice, but they let us know that takes 15 minutes and we didn't have time to wait. Next time! It's a very small space, maybe 4 tables so it looks like most people get their food to go. The staff are very kind and patiently answered questions. Our shawarma came out pretty quickly, too. I forgot to take pictures- next time!

Google brought up Black Rose as a suggestion. It is about 20-30 away from downtown. But after getting to the parking lot, I could tell I found the right place for a vibe. Music could be heard from outside and there was a little line of gorgeous people wanting to enter the establishment. Once in, my attention was directed to the my right where the band was getting down on making the crowd move. Turning my head back to the bar area, it was people wrap around it. Continuing on there were people in booths, at all the high tables, and just sprinkled throughout the lounge. Though it was a mixed crowd, you could tell it was an Ethiopian heaven. It was really a good energy felt amongst everyone. Couple things I will say is that though I like loud music, It was extremely loud to the point, I went outside to the seating area to finish enjoying my drink and vibing out. Other thing that bothered me was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I'll that it that and move on. The bartenders were not only extremely gorgeous they made some strong drinks. I mean, make you look up at them like "what the heck, you made that drink!" It was free to get in, staff was quick on taking orders, it was a vibe. I highly recommend Black Rose if in the D.C. area.
