Always 5 stars when we visit. Definitely one of my favorite spots on South Beach. We always rent the suite in the Cabana building which is right by the infinity pool. The views are beautiful, the room is super comfortable, great bed, awesome service and we couldn't ask for more. There are 2 pools on the grounds, infinity and a smaller heated pool. Great location. Just between Ocean Drive and Lincoln Ave. South Beach is right through the back gate. Win win!

This is our favorite place in South Beach. The mood and vibes and ambiance is amazing. Katie, one of the managers, went out of her way to tell us about the activities and parties going on this weekend (it's Halloween). The decor is awesome and we love our suite. I believe all rooms have certain themes but still stick to the 1940-50-60's vibes. Definitely a boutique hotel. Or beach guy Elijah was absolutely amazing! He works so hard every day moving chairs and umbrellas. With a great attitude! Tip that boy! Along with the beach servers/bartenders. 2nd time here and will definitely be back!

Everyone, from front of house check-in, to bartenders, waitstaff, towel people, cleaning staff, absolutely every single person I encountered, was so friendly and pleasant and helpful. It really makes a great impression. We had a room by the pool. A 1 bedroom suite. Really nice and spacious. 2 big closets (one a walk-in), 1 1/2 bathrooms which is sooo nice lol. Huge balcony with nice seating (chairs, couches, tables) and pretty view. Room has a fridge, a pullout couch, 2 tv's. The hotel itself is very pretty. 2 really nice pools, lots of comfy chairs. A pool bar, private beach where you can get towels, loungers and umbrellas all included with your stay. Bikes are available for free. The only downside, and unfortunately it's kind of a big one...the hotel next door is a huge party hotel. Tons of twenty somethings ( mostly guys) yelling and playing loud games, and very loud music thumping from early morning till late night. If you're looking for a nice quiet relaxing getaway, this really isn't the place. Also this could be a plus or a minus, depending, but this hotel doesn't permit children. Probably for the best, considering the shenanigans going on next door. We were here for a wedding weekend and almost everything went really well, as stated. They took great care of us, dinner at the restaurant was fantastic, everything fabulous EXCEPT... we had planned and pre-paid for a breakfast buffet for our wedding guests one morning. The breakfast food itself was very pricey, and they charged us an extra fee so we could have a private area to ourselves. Ok, fair enough. But that ended up working out to about $100 p.p. Now, $100 Pp for breakfast is a pretty damn high price and for that amount of money, I would expect a pretty damn good breakfast. What we got wasn't even worthy of a free Motel 6 breakfast, and I mean that sincerely. It was honestly shocking how terrible it was in every way...quality, selection, taste. Things weren't kept sufficiently heated or chilled as needed. Everything went mostly uneaten. We could've just all gone and ordered the hotels regular breakfast for 1/4 the price and it would've been so much better. I know this because I actually had their breakfast on previous days and it was fine. Or even better, we could've gone straight across the street to the bakery that's there and had an even better breakfast for even less money. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel on many levels. Just not their set priced buffet breakfast for a group.

We usually stay at the Standard for the adults-only experience, but we decided to switch it up on our last trip to Miami. We liked the accessible location of the National Hotel and didn't realize how many times we had walked by it without noticing in the past. The pools were awesome, especially the warm one. The drinks were good, but super expensive. I wish they would offer a discount to hotel guests. We had a cabana room, which we would definitely book again. We loved having a patio to enjoy breakfast and snacks on. This place definitely got busier on the weekend. I'm sure we will return again soon!!

The pool was amazing rooms are a bit outdated. The bathroom furniture was literally falling apart. I usually stay at the Loews but the no kids resort called to me. And so I gave it a try. First off the elevators are super small and slow. They're like old nyc apartment elevators. My room was facing construction and I payed for an ocean view so I had to ask for a room change. And of course they had none untill the next day. They have a restaurant which has great food and bar which had drinks not frozen the machine was broken. Other than that the beach is great with service and in walking distance

You MUST try the Tuna Tartar! Delicious!!!

Wow! What an ALL around exceptional experience. Right from the moment we walked in everyone has been friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, the decor is very unique, the pools and beach access all amazing! We loved it so much we extended our stay for an extra night!! We will definitely be back!

My gf and I stopped through here on our way out before boarding our flights later in the afternoon. If you're toting your luggage and not a hotel guest, you will have to find another hotel to store your luggage while enjoying this most decadent brunch experience. Luckily we arrived early enough to our reservations to sort that out. Reservations are a must if you don't want to wait. The restaurant is gorgeous with various spaces designed differently but keeps to the exotic Asian theme. Dining in the atrium near the water feature in the middle with stage for the musicians is where we had our experience. Olga was our server. She brought us our special beverages not available at the bar: Bloody Mary's and endless bubbly in our glasses The offerings here are more than I can name, but there is something to satisfy every craving. The favorite for me is the caviar bar. It comes with all the proper fixings on a blini with Crème fraîche. Do you need a vodka shot to go with? Yes, that's also available also at the caviar station. Fresh raw oysters, clams or shrimp cocktail is available in abundance with everything else here. The ceviche was great. I passed on all the various noodles but had to have some lamb curry and basmati rice- delicious! I had some Peking Duck and leg of lamb at the meat station. The filet mignon and lamb chops was ordered and brought to the table. The leg of lamb and filet were slightly dry but still good. The lamb chops with chimichurri sauce was amazing- nuances of vibrant flavors. Assorted fresh fruits were a colorful collection of enticements. I saw some papaya and enjoyed its fresh, sweet juiciness. I am not a dessert person but had to try the key like pie. Then of course, the matcha dessert is a sitting temptation next to the pie. So, my dessert spoils were more than intended. What the hell right? Lol That was the sweet ending to my Setai brunch. There was so much more such as bread, fried stuff, eggs, bagel station, toast etc. One can only eat so much. I stuck to enjoying my favorites. The experience is pricey but so worth it. It is truly the best brunch experience I've ever had. - better than Vegas and a cruise ship!! I always have to experience a Setai brunch whenever in Miami!

You are walking through the area with all the guests and their luggage in your super large robe that doesn't close very well. I did not enjoy this. Some disappointing things which was not their fault is the parking garage construction noise even on Sundays. The noise took away from my spa experience. They did nothing for the noise control. Also, the SPA requests you must arrive 30 minutes before your treatment time. I got my parking validated BUT we stayed for brunch who also validated our parking but we went over the 4 hours so we got no discount for parking and we were charged the full $35 fee plus tip for the valet. The valet staff was quite nasty telling me we were there too long for the discount BUT each one of those alone qualified for a discounted valet. You can not do both in the 4 hour window.

Whether you're traveling with kids, teens, adults, or a multigenerational crew, everyone finds their lane here. The pool scene is the heartbeat of the property. Multiple pools, each with its own personality -- family-friendly areas with space to splash, quieter corners for lounging, and the high-energy spots where the music and cocktails flow. Service was dialed in across the board: fast, friendly, and always one step ahead. Rooms were spotless and stylish, with balconies that make you want to order room service just to soak in the view a little longer. Housekeeping kept everything crisp, and every request was met with that effortless "of course" attitude. Dining is another standout. This is a tourist trap extraordinaire. It made me feel like I was paying to be in a place trying to extract from me, not serve me. And yes, I did complain twice to the front staff about these issues - to stony faces and lame excuses that were canned and code for "we don't care." The resort fee is $60/day (which is not made clear on Orbitz, where I booked it), yet when I went in February the pool and all outdoor facilities - which is what the resort fee pays for - closed at 6pm. We were told it closes at "sundown," even though they clearly have outdoor lights for the whole outside facility. Want to swim in the evening or night? Nope. All those pictures with the pool lit up? Not for you. And if you dare to be in the pool at 6:01, there were six staff for every one guest to tell you to get out. Seriously, we got warnings to get out at 10min to 6, 5min to 6, and at 6:00. Why every five minutes? Because a group of staff members were hovering over us, watching and waiting for the moment to kick us out. Very relaxing. You have to wear an armband everywhere you go. Staff are at every door as you go in or out - hotel to pool or pool to beach - monitoring you to produce it. Very relaxing. There is no coffee in the room, forcing you to travel across the whole huge facility (3 towers connected by long walks) to their coffee shop to pay $10 for a cup of coffee each morning. You could walk all the way back to your room, or - like me - you can try to drink it by the pool. But NO! You can't sit by the pool. Those seats and lounges require you to pay a fee, even in February when there was NO ONE there. If you don't want to pay, you can find a free lounge on the outer fringes. And if you try to sit without paying, there are staff to tell you to move immediately. Hovering, as usual. To get a lounge on the beach - in February, low season - we had to get in line to sign up for a chair and then get in a second line of 20-30 people and wait in the hot sun for an available, assigned chair and a staff person to take us there. Grab a chair and relax? Nope. It's a monitored system. When we checked out, the staff told us there were too many rooms to provide a coffee maker in each one. I guess their policy is to assume their guests are stupid.
