So I am not going to say the guy was outright lying but I'll just state the facts. My daughter went…read moreto sell her 2014 car - which she bought new and which had never stalled or quit running on her in all the years she owned the car. The webuyanycar guy, after looking it over, took it for a test ride and when he came back, he told us that the car "just quit running" and that he had to pull over, and that the oil light and the battery light came on and he couldn't get it started again and when it did start, it made an awful noise. He said he was fearful that my daughter shouldn't drive it again. After spending a half hour supposedly "talking with headquarters" to determine what he thought was wrong with the car, he then offered her $500 and said she probably had a "bad flywheel". He did some hocus-pocus with a YouTube video to try to convince us of the source of the sound he said he heard. He said $500 was the best he could do. Mind you, this car had never given her any problem. The only reason she was selling it was because she was pregnant and needed a bigger car for her growing family. While waiting, I drove it again and, of course, it drove perfectly. And it continued to do so until we left and, a few days later, went to Carvana and got a respectable cash price for the car. Go here at your own risk. If you get the price you want, great. If a young fast-talking guy tells you your car suddenly has some mysterious problem and isn't worth what you know it should be, just walk away and go elsewhere.

I was offered 16k from webuyabycar I was offered 21k for the same car from Carmax. Shop around before selling them your car especially if you know its worth. This place WILL make you a very low offer.
