One install had a minor issue involving a antenna cable not being connected during install. They were completely willing to come back to take a look but eventually I was able to fix it myself. 10 years ago in the middle of the recession some jackass smashed 1 of the windows of my jeep and stole everything out of it. My car was broken into and the front passenger window was busted. I called around for quotes the next day and Armadillo had the best pricing which included coming to my home and cleaning the glass out of my car. Amber was so friendly and helpful on the phone. They were able to come out the next day. Greg was prompt and so friendly. He finished in 30 minutes and did an amazing job! Window works perfectly and he was able to get all the glass out. Greg LITERALLY just left my house, and everything is back to normal! Someone broke my back trunk window Saturday night/Sunday morning (before 3 when I noticed), and everywhere I called couldn't get it done until early Tuesday morning. Since my calendar was already blocked off all day for errands before my vacation on Wednesday, Greg was the only one available to fix my window Monday. I called Monday morning at 8:15 (he wasn't open on Sunday), Greg arrived by 10:22 with a new back window, and was finished by 11:02. AMAZING turnaround time and support, and it looks as good as new with the factory tint. The cost was more than another place I had called ($215+tax) and I paid $265+tax, but for the immediate service due to my schedule restrictions, I was happy to pay this difference. Needed my windshield replaced so I called several places for quotes. Although they weren't the cheapest (2nd cheapest), they were certainly the most professional and helpful. They showed up when they said they would and replaced my windshield in less than an hour. It looks like that horrible crack never happened and it's sealed nicely. So, the thing about glass repair, is that it can be a little like a house of cards. Case in point: I had an inspection sticker that was due for bringing current, but a couple of weeks ago I managed to take a pebble in the windshield of my ride, which, in this searing heat (thank you summer), quickly spread into some sort of crack art exhibiting patterns of interpretive dance. Which I realize may not clear up the house of cards idea for you - what I mean is this: I couldn't replace my sticker without first replacing the glass, and I was short on time to boot. Which is also my way of saying said crack was out of control, and there was no hope of saving the glass by filling the crack. The whole thing had to go. Enter Armadillo Auto Glass, who I was able to get to swing by (my days don't always allow for hours in someone else's waiting room), and within 48 hours, Greg dropped by and was able to do a pretty quick switch, exhuming the old glass and replacing anew. Now I'm set to jet - he replaced my stickers, and once I get the new one in place, I'll be tooling like the old days. Recommended. read more

I had a large bull's eye crack put into my windshield on the passenger's side as a result of a hail storm in March of '09. Being that I scrape by with the minimum state required amount of coverage, I was not looking forward to paying for the repairs out of pocket and put it off for a very long time. I found out about Armadillo through Yelp and decided that after almost a full year, I needed to just suck it up and have the thing replaced. The day of the repair went relatively smoothly, only marred by things out of human control, such as the gift of rain that day. But Greg was very accommodating and was able to get the job done without me having to leave my apartment. He did a wonderful job transferring over my stickers and TxTag - no complaints there. And the price was lower than what my dad quoted me through his "friend of a friend" who would do it for dirt cheap. So it was a win-win! When incompetent thieves smashed a window to try to steal my stereo, yelp put me on a five-star trail to the door of Armadillo Auto Glass. First call got me voicemail. Second time I left a message. Greg called me back an hour or so after that. He was booked for the day but told me he'd give me a discount if I could wait until the next morning. He dutifully came and replaced the window as efficiently as I could ask for. I'd give him five stars, save for one thing: Thieves returned in less than a week, smashing the same window and again failing to wrench the stereo from the dashboard. Armadillo's voicemail indicated they were taking a week's vacation this time around, so I called another company with good yelp reviews, who came out late on the same day. The price? Same as Armadillo's "discount" price, to the penny. No complaints, but I'll save the fifth star for the other glass company, who went the extra mile to come the same day and didn't blow breeze up my skirt about some special discount. read more

I needed the windshield replaced on my Lexus and did not want to fork out the $1100+ the dealership wanted to replace it. I shopped around a bit, and saw that Armadillo had the best reviews, so I ended up giving them a call. Greg was very helpful on the phone, and even called the glass distributor to confirm the glass was going to be PPG (or PGW, as they are now called) for my particular model. From my research, PGW was the best non-OEM glass you could get (and is even OEM for some lower-end car brands). Greg drove out to my location and installed the windshield quickly (less than an hour) and I have not experienced any problems in the two years that followed. As for the windshield itself, it wasn't as perfect as the Lexus glass--probably around 90%, but the pricing made it irrelevant. First, the glass has a gray tint at the top instead of the blue or green that the OEM had. This looked OK since my car was black. Second, the glass looked very clear looking at it head-on, but there was some optical distortion when looking at items at an angle (e.g. looking at something to the front-right side of the car). Probably not a big deal for most, but -1 star for the product in my opinion. All in all, I don't think you're going to get around this unless you fork out a ton of cash for OEM, so I highly recommend! read more

All I had to do was call Armadillo Glass and they sent a technician out and was even finished up 30 minutes earlier than the scheduled time. My car was broken into and I lost a passenger window. I called Greg at Armadillo based on other good Yelp reviews, and I was not disappointed!! He made an appointment that was convenient for me, arrived on time, and finished more quickly that anticipated. In less than an hour, my window was as good as new, and all of the little bits of broken glass were vacuumed out of my door panel. Short version: Greg does a great job at a reasonable price and he stands behind his product. Longer version: I needed windshields replaced on two vehicles. Greg got the details, scheduled a repair time, and replaced both on the same day--one at my office, and the other at my home. (Can't get any more convenient than that.) Unfortunately, one of my cars later developed a leak that we traced to broken, deteriorated molding around one of the windshields, combined with a design flaw in the vehicle itself (but I'll spare you that long story). Rock chip created nice crescent crack which reflects enough sunlight that reminds me, "Hey bud, if you don't fix this, I'm gonna grow to a foot long and you'd have to replace the whole windshield". After a few calls to different shops, Greg was the first one to respond who's willing to come out. It probably took him all of 10 min to fix it and the crack is no longer visible. Of course there is still a tiny circle where he has to drill in and inject the epoxy but you'll get that no matter who does the job. Anyway, he's fast, courteous, and reasonable priced. If I have to replace a whole windshield or window next time I will call him. read more

I called the next morning and even though they couldn't come that same day they scheduled me in for the next morning. They can come to where your car is located and replace your car window there as long as you're there to give them the keys. They showed up promptly at the estimated time with everything prepared. They cleaned up the glass that was shattered in my car that I was too lazy to clean up and got it all fixed up in less than 30 minutes. The best part is that the price is very reasonable.
