Standard dining, standard service. Music was a bonus, but didn't realize it when we sat down. Next thing we know we each paid a cover charge. We didn't want to be rude and leave, but I wouldn't have say down, otherwise. None the less, music was enjoyable.

We heard that they have live music on Saturday nights at the Armadillo Ranch so we headed there after dinner to check the place out. The place it pretty loud with the band playing and was a little difficult to order cocktails at the bar, but once we got them we found the only table open and claimed it as ours. The band was pretty good and we stayed for a little bit. I went to use the restroom and one of the 2 stalls had the toilet completely ripped apart. I have a picture of it that I am sharing here. Kind of off putting for a restaurant. We didn't eat here, so I cannot speak to the food but overall the place was meh to me.

Kids Chicken Tenders and Fries

Armadillo Ranch is perfectly located in the heart of Manitou Springs, but it was a far from enjoyable experience. To start off, it took us over 10 minutes to just get menus. After receiving menus, it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and be able to order some food. After we ordered, it took over 40 minutes to get our food (quesadillas and chicken tenders), and we were highly disappointed in the subpar excuse for food, especially the burnt chicken tenders. I don't know if our poor experience was due to our waitstaff openly taking shots behind the bar, or if this is just how they operate things here, but we will not be returning and we don't recommend.

Looking forward to the pulled pork!

We were staying in Manitou Springs on our way to Pikes Peak, Florrisant, and Eleven Mile Canyon. After walking around and looking at all the city had to offer, we decided to eat an early dinner at Armadillo Ranch. Our server was new, so there were some errors, but she was sweet and apologetic. They had a nice craft beer selection. We chose the Milk Stout from Left-Handed Brewery. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. Later into the meal, they hand a band playing which was a nice touch. My only complaint was that I wish they had air conditioning.

This place had decent live music and an great atmosphere. We basically had already met everyone there from bar hopping up and down the street after the parade. The service was ok but they were admittedly swamped so I don't wanna be too hard on them. We were waiting for a bit for our food only to find out somebody snagged it so they had to remake our sandwiches and wings pretty quick ‍. Either way I would come back and check out more live music. Super fun

The food here is not great. It leaves something to be desired and their Paloma was trash.

Loved the location, loved the food, loved the vibe. Loved it all!…read more Starting with the location: It was a beautiful sunny day in a tucked away spot in Manitou when we came to Tava. I have to say, as a food truck, I know you roam, but it's picturesque for you when you're in manitou. But really Tava could be anywhere and I'd come. Food: The food was fresh and cooked to order. Comes with the territory I would assume when you order from a food truck? Admittedly I don't do it often, but apparently I need to. We received the fearless goddess sandwich, a peach smoothie, a berry smoothie and their soup special the tomato bisque. Oh! The fearless goddess came with a side as well so we got the sweet potato fries. The sandwich had fresh jalapeños on it and it added the perfect kick of spice needed to break up how decadent the sandwich was. The sweet potato fries were crispy and the aioli was a great addition to dip them in. The smoothies were refreshing and tasted of real fruit. Don't at me, I've had many a smoothie that tasted artificial. The soup was perfect for my daughter, she loves soup of all sorts. It was warm and cozy. We eat soup all year long in my house hold so I was happy. We enjoyed the seating area outside that had misters going to help cool things down as well. It was a very chill place to watch dogs play across the street at the park, catch some sun and enjoy some great food. This is a solid spot for either lunch or dinner honestly. Your choice.

After biking by the Tava Truck many times and not having opportunity to stop, I finally went there…read morefor a late lunch. Service - super friendly, with a smile! The Fearless Goddess sandwich - so this event was advertised as being on the healthier side... this sandwich is more on the killer-delicious side. Crisp fresh toasted bread, just the right amount of cheese (plenty but not swimming in cheese grease), tender chicken and tasty sauce...mmm, good. It's huge (for me, anyway), so I enjoyed half and saved the other half for lunch the next day, which was just right. The berry smoothie - another win! It's not cloyingly sweet, and the yogurt and berries had plenty of tang. Creamy yum. I also saved half for the next day, in the freezer, and it thawed just fine. The soup - sandwiches come with a side, so I chose the tomato basil bisque. It was more creamy than veg-tomatoey, and needed a hit of pepper. Not my favorite ever, but my daughter inhaled it. It's enough for a lunch on its own, or in two portions as a side. Overall - pretty good stuff and I will probably head back to try more of the offerings here. It's a solid choice in Manitou!

Cute interior! They do warn you the kitchen is very small and it will take some time to make good food, so be prepared to be patient. We ordered a hummus tray as we were starving and that came out quickly and was tasty. It does come with hummus and tzatziki sauce. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was very tasty and the coleslaw was excellent as well I ordered the Southwest quinoa salad with added grilled chicken, I did ask for a 2nd serving of chimichurri sauce, and it was very tasty My niece had the veggie burger and she said it was very good- It was huge and she had to take half of it home. The craft beers were very tasty and I had a glass of wine as I'm not much of a beer drinker They do have a cute outdoor patio as well. Service was attentive, and if we were in the area would definitely be back. Total bill was about $130 before tip and included a total of four entrées, five beers and a glass of wine The menu both for beer and food is QR code so I have uploaded the food menu so you can see what they have. My understanding is the beers to change on rotation.

Our server was super helpful, patient and answered multiple questions. She was a bright spot! The Manitou Burger with cheese was good. It came with chips which were nice but I wish they had fries. Love all the sauces came on the side. My daughter ordered the plain white Mac and Cheese and while I liked it, she didn't like it all. It was too different of a flavor to make this work for most kids. The nachos are huge and queso was delicious. Enjoyed the beer. We wanted to sit outside but it was full. Inside was nice but the music was just way too loud for a decent table conversation. Pro Tip: no kids menu. Server said most kids order plain burger with cheese or plain Mac and cheese or the street tacos plain.
