The set up is a bar with a decent amount of restaurant booth seating. Of course, there were tables of different sizes available, as well. We were given a 10 minute wait after meeting with the Hostess. There was alot of activity around the bar and lots of drinks coming out of the bar well....always a good sign! When our time was up, we were quickly escorted to our table. We were each given a menu and a drink menu. Lots to choose from on both menus (see the pic below) I ordered the chicken sandwich with caramelized onions and my son ordered a Chicken Pot Pie. He had a beer and we both had water with a lemon. The food came rather quickly. I was immediately taken back when the caramelized onion was not on my sandwich. I was going to ask the waittress to fix it but it was far to busy and it was not a big deal. Of course, I would have enjoyed the onion but "no big deal". My son's Chicken Pot Pie was a good size and was thrilled with it. We both ate everything on our plates. Our waitress checked in with us a few times to refill, which was nice and came to take the plates away after we were finished. We did not get any dessert. To be honest, we did not see a lot of dessert plates coming to other tables, either. On April 14 we were going to stop at Phils Roast Beef in Andover, on our way home from Weymouth MA. UGG!! he sold his place. Drove to Concord, NH, the little children were so hungry, it was late at night. We still had 1 1/2 hours before home. We wanted something simple not a restaurant. We came a place that looked bright. It was Arnies. Never been there and here we are 6 of us, EXHAUSTED, little children not knowing what they want, cranky we are trying to be quick about ordering, it was so crowded. The man waited on us with a smile. We still had no clue what we wanted he said take your time, yet there were so many people in line. We ordered hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork plate, drinks, children meals. He kept smiling and telling us it's alright. We sat and he brought our food to the table. We didn't expect that. He treated us like we were like royalty. He made the difference in our trip. The smallest child wanted another child meal. The server made him so happy. The server always smiled which put a smile on our face. The food was superior, prices excellent, service over the top. We saw a trip jar, deposited money in that. Second time was on May 17, since it was so good the first time we thought okay let's try again. This time only two of us. The young lady was smiling. It was around the lunch hour, a little busy- we ordered pulled pork and fish plate. The food was still superior, prices great, service over the top. Met the owner, he was happy, jolly, friendly, totally down to earth. We thought it's a no wonder these people are always smiling, it must be a fun place to work. It was very busy when we were leaving. The owner smiled and said come back again. We felt a personal touch. We forgot to leave the young lady a tip. Next time we will leave double tip.
