This is such an amazing place!!!! this is my second time here. The first time, I came over with a nonprofit organization and the manager gave us a wonderful rundown of the restaurant, how it came to be, and how it tries to employ underprivileged and people with disabilities. That got my attention. At that time, I had a wonderful salad with chicken tenders that was superb. This time, we came in during the craftsman fair in Concord, and after looking at the stalls for most of the day, we were ravenously hungry. I had a chicken breast sandwich which was a truly beautiful piece of chicken breast, with caramelized onions and all the trimmings. I also had a salad on the side. My other half, had a juicy, tantalizing burger with some of the best fries I have ever had. Yet another one of our guests had the chicken tenders, light and tender and crispy which was extremely tasty. I can understand some of the previous comments about having to wait to order. The manager, who attends the cash register in ordering, he's doing 14 things at the same time. She is extremely busy especially in peak periods. However, she is quite efficient. As in most places, vibes also has a staffing shortage problem and that should in no way diminish the quality of the food as well as their amazing service to the community. Overall, we had a really good time. Great food, nice ambience, and we sat by the window and people watched during a beautiful day and a busy time at the Concord craftsman fair. read more

Overall it's a 2.5 star experience. But I can't give that rating. So, 2 stars. The burger was good, and ingredients fresh. However, I gave them this exact feedback directly 3 years ago, and they have done nothing to improve. Unfortunate, because this place has much potential. On the other hand, there's no competition in Concord, so they don't "need" to raise their standards. Here are 8 CONS: (1) the man who seems to be the owner--crabby and unpleasant--this is the case for other guys working here (the women seem cheerful and nice) (2) hours listed say 9pm is Closing. However, their final order is at 8:45pm. So, they effectively closed at 8:45--and become self-righteous and imply you should know 9pm closing means 8:45. (3) I was looking forward to their delicious pickle but they didn't ask whether I wanted it--I understood it to come with every meal--saw later on the receipt "Dill Pickle: No"; (4) I got there at 8:40pm and immediately ordered--after being sort of chewed out for arriving so "late." Went for a walk with the buzzer--and after 16 minutes it hadn't gone off. Returned to Vibes and they were just starting the burger--literally the raw ball of beef was put it on the grill. I asked what happened. They said they'd had "a rush." There were 5 people in the restaurant. And when I had ordered, there were only 3 burgers on the grill, with room for 20 burgers. Do they cook them only three at a time? (5) BIGGEST COMPLAINT: Vibes refuses to cook burgers Medium Rare!!! They will do only: Rare, Well-Done, and Medium. They say "the grill is too hot to cook it medium rare." That makes no sense. They cook burgers all day every day on that same grill. They should know, for example: 2 minutes is Rare, 3 minutes is Medium Rare, 4 minute is Medium, 5 minutes is Well-Done, or whatever. I'm not about to order RARE beef, but Medium is quite brown. Disappointing. (6) French fries were garbage. Tasted like they cooked them when I came in initially, then put them BACK in the fryer when the order was ready 20 minutes later. They were dark brown and overcooked AND chewy(!!) I ate 3 and dumped the rest. (7) Not even one dipping sauce free? Each is $.50 and they're out of many of the flavors--just very nickle and dimey. (8) overcooked Malibu burger, inedible fries, and a soda came to $21. Quite steep for the quality and experience. read more

This is nothing against the one woman working, because she was working her butt off and was doing her best with what she had. The list of ingredients they were out of was longer than what they actually had. The burgers were fine, but literally everything had to be substituted on the specialty burgers. I'm giving Vibes a 5 star review because, even though there was an issue with one of our orders, one of the employees, by the name of Daiquiri, made everything right! One hour wait, two burgers, two small onion rings and two soft drinks ($52 with 20% tip upfront), still waiting. It's not like it's busy in here yet the staff says they're understaffed and slammed. Truth be told, they're clueless. Asked for a refund (paid by credit card) and was told the owner would have to send me a check when she's in next week. Just a ridiculous way to run a business. The name really gives ypu a sense of what this place has within, good VIBES. And with it being connected to a little gelato/ice cream shop, this makes it feel like am updated version of a old school soda shoppe. Good variety. Good food. Good atmosphere. Only one large table for bigger groups though. But it's right in the heart of downtown Concord, right next to the theatre, and only a short walk to other venues. AND the parking garage is right behind it; so very convenient! The menu options are few, but certainly customizable. The only real qualm about it ... they sell Pepsi, not Coke ... so, for you Coke drinkers, bring your own beverage. read more

The table was dirty, and had to be cleaned twice. Obviously had not been cleaned at all before we sat down. Covered in maple syrup. I tried the concord's own burger, which ironically had maple syrup on it. TOO MUCH in fact. No wonder it was all over the table. I'm thinking the last customer made an attempt to "drain" their burger. It ruined everything about the burger. I don't even think it was real maple syrup. The french fries were delicious. The food was cold which may or may not be the drivers fault but unlikely since it came directly from there. Burgers were not great. Super disappointing. Eat local! Even when you travel. Incredible burger. And, crispy fried green beans. GREEN BEANS! That's health food, right. This is my second time here and still have not gotten food. First time I was here I waited in front of the cash register for 10 minutes with not one person in front of me and never even got told that anyone would be with me shortly. Vibes is a go to for us. We often order through DoorDash and have always had a great experience. For a few weeks we noticed a favorite, bacon cheddar fries, was missing from the menu on DoorDash. We ordered anyway and in the comments of our large fry order we said "we miss the bacon cheddar fries! So good!" And when our order arrived- there they were! No extra cost! Just a quick bite before an afternoon movie at Red River Theatre, but it's so, so convenient and so easy. Park in the garage in the back, and you're at their front door in 2 minutes. Easy seating and ordering. Didn't take long for the food to appear. Couscous salad was fresh and delicious. Basic burger was thick, properly cooked and dripping with juice. We won't be returning! WeWERE "regulars". For years we have enjoyed a window seat at Vibes to enjoy the start of Halloween Howl. The owner was ridiculously rude (wouldn't let me finish a sentence) when I asked her about moving a chair! The food was over cooked! Getting late and starting to have a rumbling in our bellies, my wife and I were looking for something quick. She was the one to recommend this burger joint. The exposed brick in conjunction with counter and booths made for a warm atmosphere of industrial and diner finely blended together. Staff were very pleasant. We ordered a drink and a burger, I was super pumped that there were beers on tap, I stuck with a local brew which fit quite nicely with the meal. The burger was good; it wasn't seasoned too well but the bacon, apple slices, barbacue, and cheese made for an otherwise (odd, but) great burger. OH MY GOD, I have had sweet potato fries before but the FRIED GREEN BEANS rocked my socks off! I never heard such a thing and it rapidly became a new favorite! Driving through New Hampshire, on this beautiful day we got hungry. Although there is a health foods store right across the street a burger felt right. The burger joint, sure does give off vibes, lots of vibes. Initially it looks to me more like a diner, booths line the wall, and the counter screams of something in back in the day. Although there is a flat screen on the wall playing the food channel, it still feels like you are back in time, somewhere in the 60s I would imagine. The service is quick, the staff friendly and well trained, able to explain the wide variety of menu items, the food is served in neat baskets or trays and you get to grab the food yourself from the counter when your number is called. The food itself is excellent, the fries and burgers are amazing. I had the Quebec burger which was cooked perfectly and dressed with the most amazing melted cheese among other items that made the burger (which I don't eat often) taste great. Excellent Sweet potato fries, juxtaposed with a shameful poutine. Shameful is not too strong a word. But More on that in a minute. These might quite possibly have been the best sweet potato fries I have had. Perfectly salted, crisp but not over done, very flavorful. I don't know what could have made them better. The poutine was horrible. The fries were soggy the cheese curds cold and this was not even the worst part. The worst part was the liquid on top (on bottom actually) which I suppose was their version of gravy, was so low in viscosity that it looked like broth. I poured over the menu to see if they had au jus thinking they may have screwed up but I didn't see it. No, I actually think that they have no idea whatsoever how to make gravy because it was just beef flavored water on fries. It just tasted salty and it made the fries gross. I wanted to say something to them but my wife thinks I'm too picky when it comes to food and we were having a nice day so I kept my mouth shut. I don't know what could've made it worse other than something intentional. This is not an exaggeration, the fries were that bad. And the burgers were very mediocre. Not bad just mediocre and definitely not gourmet other than the price we paid. So It would have been one star because of how horrible the poutine was but those fries were really good so they got an extra star for those. It would have been three stars because of the sweet potato fries but if the main thing you were in business for, burgers, is only mediocre, good fries can't save you If Anyone who works for the restaurant is reading this I implore you to hire somebody who can make gravy. Went in last night a little after 8:30 to get some ice cream. The employee came to the counter didn't bother to greet us and rudely stated "we're done ice cream tonight" as if we were unconvincing him by being there. When we asked why he said they were done for the night. We asked why and he said that they always close ice cream 30 minutes before actual closing. The website says they are open until 10, when questioned about this he said they changed their hours. I understand hours change but it wasn't made clear and the employee was very rude to us.
