First, I would like to say the crew that worked on the house and shingle work is very good by…read moreBuccos roofing, but they won't correct problems they created, so I can't recommend them anymore. I had them install a new roof and gutters on my house last summer. The roof wasn't leaking or having problems just getting old. I had 4" overhangs along the sides of the existing roof. When they were installing the new roof, they informed me that they don't usually do overhangs anymore and asked to remove them. They are the professionals not me so I said okay. In the winter I do get icicles on the dormer but have never had a problem with the water getting into the house. This winter I had a small amount of ice buildup, much smaller than in the past. Because the overhangs were removed the ice reached the fascia and water was able to get behind it and leak into the house. I contacted Buccos roofing and they sent someone to look at it. They said I needed to add a gutter along the dormer to try and keep the ice from getting to the fascia. This is not an ideal solution, but I guess its workable. I was then told I would have to pay for this even though they are the ones that created the problem. They keep saying the roof was installed correctly and it is not there fault. If for over 20 years I have not had water get in then all the sudden it does because the overhangs are gone I would say it's there fault.

Let's just say I've never felt more taken advantage of then I have with this company. They have…read moremessed up from day one from starting the project 6 weeks later than what they projected to putting the wrong thickness of plywood to almost forgetting to insulate when I already paid for it .. and to top that off it's only 3 months old and it leaks and has damaged two of my bedrooms and they want me to turn it into the insurance company my insurance company talk about taking advantage of a customer
