This was an incredibly smooth move! Great experience booking, actual move, payment. Everything was handled efficiently and carefully. Airan, the owner, was one of the first people to reply to my request and was consistently responsive and explained things clearly and thoroughly. I had a bit of an odd move (moving 2 apartments long distance to bakersfield from the bay). The price Airan quoted was very reasonable. When we decided to moved out a year ago I asked my friends for a moving company recommendation and not single one of the (more than 6 couples) were able to recommend any of the ones they used. I found Arnoni via Yelp, and not only they did an amazing work a year ago helping us moved from a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house into a 5 be/4ba. But also, this year we are moving out again out of state, even though they don't moved across country they help us load our pods doing an incredible Tetris puzzle to fit everything (except my plants) there. My last movers cancelled on me two weeks before the move in date and so I had to start this process again. I'm glad I did because Arnoni Moving company was professional and their customer service was fantastic. Airan responded to my quote request fairly quickly and was able to talk me through his quote and all of the fees associated with it. On the actual move, Tadeo and Camilo were right on time and were very quick for the move. What I really liked was that they took care of my large items (sofa, tv, etc.) very carefully and meticulously ensured that everything was covered with padding/wrap. I was moving to a four story walk up and they were quick and in the end, nothing was broken. They arrived on time and were very courteous. They take good care of my belongings and wrapped them in good shape and sturdy before moving into the truck. For entire move, it took about 6 hours to complete which is amazing as I was moving from a single house to an apartment. I needed to move on fairly short notice and Airan was quick, responsive, and flexible in arranging my move day. I did a horrible job packing but Paco, Camilo, and Tadeo were so helpful and understanding and helped me get everything in order and ready to go. Everything was moved safely and arrived at my new place well-protected, without a scratch. One dresser knob came off and they hunted for it, found it, and put it back on. And the guys were really kind about moving things around as I changed my mind about layout a few times. I used Arnoni over a year ago and realized I should have left a review. I am surprised at the mixture of experiences with Arnoni. Mine was better than expected. Husband and I were worried that our belongings wouldn't be transported carefully so we moved everything ourselves except for the big furniture at the end. The employees were really careful at each house (even removed a picture frame on a wall since they knew they weren't going to get close to it with furniture, etc), wrapped up a large frame and heavy bar unit for us (we did the rest ourselves with cling wrap from Home Depot)... our only regret is not knowing in advance how great they were going to be. It would have saved many trips we did ourselves and hours of packing up/wrapping our own furniture. I was expecting a stressful day but it was pretty straightforward. read more

First off, I was really, really impressed with the ability of the Arnoni moving team to fit a queen size pillow-top mattress into a rather small elevator. They were on time, they worked efficiently on packing up our kitchen and getting our furniture into the truck, and getting it out of the truck and up to our new place on the third floor. This company is truly amazing. We used them in December for two moves out of one home and they were professional, prompt, and kind. I was worried about entrusting electronics or other delicate items, but they care! I had to emergency evacuate out of my apartment after barely 2 months when the ceiling began leaking and they were able to squeeze me in for the next day, arrived early and waited while we finalized the lease, and worked in the rain and in downtown (which can be difficult due to parking/streets/sidewalks/elevators/access). They are very reasonably priced and upfront about additional charges such as mileage and travel time. They email quotes, prices, and receipts. Please book them! They are worth it. read more

I Don't recommend this moving company! I was told my move wouldn't take longer than 3.5 hours for a couch, table, two beds and two dressers. Ended up taking almost 7 hrs I was charged for doubled than what I was quoted. I had my table damaged and my wall and nothing was done by them but a lot of run arounds. I'm also missing a lot of clothing items and they are doing absolutely nothing about it. AVOID THIS MOVING COMPANY! They will overcharge, cause damages and you will be missing some of your things and they will not take any responsibility. Extremely responsive, reliable, and professional. While I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service, there are a few things that I should mention for the next consumer. Make sure everything is written into your contract. There were some unexpected costs at the end, some I was able to avoid and some that I was not. - In the state of California, all licensed & insured moving companies double the time that the truck spends driving between your pick-up & drop-off locations. This cost was never mentioned to me, nor shown on my contract, and I was only told this by a different moving company - While their quote states that "All furniture and mattresses will be protected with blankets, tapes, and wrapping plastic before transportation", there can still be an extra cost if they happen to deem your furniture too fragile (was almost charged extra for my large floor mirror and credenza). Also if your tv does not have its own packing box, they will charge you per each of their own boxes. Good thing I had emailed over an inventory list beforehand and asked if any of them items would be a problem or have an additional charge, so I was able to avoid this cost. However, with that said, they were also one of few companies that did not have an additional high cost for items over 300lbs. Overall, great customer service and easy to work with. Thus, 5 stars. However, be sure every detail is written in your contract and probably take the time to do an inventory list to better calculate an accurate estimate. read more

There was a snafu at the start where the movers somehow got our address wrong and ended up in Santa Cruz instead of Redwood City. Nonetheless they accommodated with a new closer by crew. The truck that came was a tight fit which made packing everything in a challenge but it fit. The team was fast, as efficient as possible and extremely nice. They took great care of our possessions. Would use them again. Deducted a star for the mix up / lack of follow up despite my requested confirmation that led to the delay in the morning but everything else was excellent.
