This place is a great weekend morning coffee and breakfast. Their customer service has always been great and their food is really decent for a coffee shop. One of their taro desert reminds me of the taro pie I had in Hawaii McDonald (this is truly a compliment because McDonald in Hawaii has some really good Taro pies). I would actually give this place 3.7 stars to be exact. It was a bit pricey for what it's worth. I ordered an iced sea salt caramel latte and avocado toast and it came out to $15-16!!!! THAT'S CRAZY! So from this point on, I was really expecting some amazing stuff. The guy brought out the iced latte and I was NOT impressed. Not really sure how much sea salt they put in the drink, but every sip had many grains of salt in it. It's not like it was overpowering or anything, it melted in my mouth fairly quickly, but it was weird having all that texture in my coffee. Also, the flavor of the roast wasn't my favorite. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. Then the avocado toast came and it was MASSIVE. NOW, I was impressed. The avocados were so fresh and sliced perfectly so that each bite had just the right amount of avocado. The eggs and toast were also perfectly cooked. And they topped it off with their homemade soy dressing which was AMAZING. I have no idea what was in the dressing but it was so so so good. The portion size surprised me. I could probably share it with someone else the next time around. 5/5 stars! If I were to come back here, I'd only come for the toast. Next time, I've got to try the mushroom one. This place is my breakfast/brunch go-to. To be honest, this cafes location is kind of weird... It's in a business office area but it doesn't matter. If you are a coffee lover, this place is A MUST TRY. They roast their own coffee beans and if you get lucky, maybe you'll be able to witness them roasting their own coffee bean in the front. Unlike many of the other breakfast places around chino hills/ rowland heights, this place isn't always packed. Maybe it's because of their fast service. The workers are always so kind and the decorations create the best environment for a delightful breakfast. The prices are very reasonable for their big portions with their own wooden carved plates. Even though there is no wifi provided, this place is a great place to study the old fashioned way, with books and notes. Just came in here for a quick bite. We ordered the prosciutto eggs benedict, roast beef toast, and a sea salt caramel latte. I love the ambience of this place, it is clean, simple, and tastefully decorated. The eggs benedict was delicious, their hollandaise sauce is not too strong or over powering and they give you an abundance of lettuce and prosciutto. The open faced roast beef sandwich was a cold cut, and it had this sweet mustard-y sauce they put on top. A-maz-ing! The coffee was not strong, but fragrant and not too sweet. I am not crazy about coffee, but I kept stealing my bf's for extra sips~ The only reason why I give a 4 stars is because of their plating. They use this black stone plate and every time I was cutting my benedict with the serrated steak knife, I got chills all over my body. It felt like fingernails on chalkboard. I tried my best not to use the knife as much as I could and cut the inside of my mouth trying to fit the huge piece in my mouth. And you see all these knife marks on the stone and wonder if any of the stone dust are on the food... I got the lavender coffee with oatmilk and half sweet along with a blueberry cheesecake. I thought the coffee was too creamy/oily and it just threw me off. I don't know if maybe there was dairy in it instead or maybe the oatmilk they used was over creamy. I probably wouldn't get that drink again and I'm hesitant to get another cup of coffee. The blueberry cheesecake was pretty good. It definitely tastes better with the sauce they include because without it, it's not as sweet. What a wonderful local coffee shop! The place is well decorated and very welcoming. There were a good number of seats and tables, including countertop seating. The coffee here is GOOD. I was skeptical at first but once I tasted the iced latte, I was sold. I was on a caffeine high for hours afterwards. The owner told us that they change up the beans every week (e.g. Costa Rica one week, Brazil the next). I think that's really cool and a great way to keep the customers coming. Food is also served here. I ordered a blueberry pastry and it was delicious! I devoured the whole thing in seconds. AMAZING. This is a must try if you are ever in the area. At first I thought the prices were too much, but after receiving my food that was no longer a concern. This place pays attention to detail. The eggs on the egg toast were perfectly fluffy and not over cooked. They give you a generous amount of ripe avocado and the coffee is created with a lot of detail as well. The staff was so friendly and very helpful to a new comer such as myself. The interior decoration is beautiful and sets the tone quite well. Service is still excellent, and the original concept still hasn't changed. It's still all about the true coffee experience, and nothing else. This is a place to enjoy your coffee slowly and have good conversation with your friends and family. It's not the typical "grab and go" coffee place, nor a place to bring a laptop and study for hours. I think I saw a sign that says no wifi and no photography. Menu has expanded and there are food and pastry items as well. All items are meant to pair well with your coffee drink. Presentation is absolutely stunning. Each coffee drink is served with a small amount of ground coffee in a small glass so you can smell the aroma before taking a sip of your drink. Very unique. My favorite drink now is the Summer Espresso. It's like an iced tea with a little bit of espresso. It very refreshing and has just a small amount of sweetness to it. This is a great drink even for people who are not regular coffee drinkers. Jerry is always coming up with something unique and innovative. The brews here are one of the best that I have ever had: rich, aromatic (true to the name), distinctive, and strong. I had the iced latte which was divine -- good ratio of milk to espresso with a distinct taste. The delicious cookies that come with the drinks are fantastic -- could eat a whole bowl. And I love how they serve their drinks on a wooden platter; Aroma Craft can really present their coffee and espresso well to make a unique caffeinated experience. They also have an extensive food menu but unfortunately, I had just eaten lunch before stopping by. The food and dessert menu is extensive and I imagine that having any of their options with the coffee would put you in foodie heaven. This is not a place for studying. No WiFi, no pictures allowed. They seem to really embrace coffee culture by creating an atmosphere where you come to enjoy the food and drink, hang a bit, then leave. I love this place so much! Not only are each drink and dish beautifully plated but they look as good as they taste! My favorite dishes are their smoked salmon toast and avocado toast. If I had to choose between the two, I would prefer the smoked salmon one because the smoked salmon is chalk full of beautiful flavor and sometimes the avocado toast can feel a little too heavy with the creamy avocado. All of their drinks are tasty, but I do have to warn you about the Kyoto Iced Drip. It is good STRONNNG coffee and if you could, you should probably share it with at least one other person. It was such an effective source of caffeine that I felt like bouncing off of walls XD And boy, the desserts are just top notch delicious. I like the Matcha tart which is HUGE for one person, so be kind, and share =). My favorite so far is the blueberry cheesecake, which is a light blueberry yogurt spongy cheesecake with a yummy granola crust. The table next to us also wanted to know what it was too cause it looked AND tasted so good! By the way, don't be alarmed by the "NO PHOTOS" sign because it just means we should respect the privacy of the staff and not take pictures of them. We can definitely take pictures of the food here! Such a cute and hip place, with food that actually tastes as good as it looks! The quality and amount you get for the price is definitely worth it. First off, the service is great. I was greeted with all smiles as I walked in and placed my order. I was debating between the mushroom toast and avocado toast, to which the cashier said the avocado toast is their most popular, and I can see why. They actually give you the WHOLE avocado on your toast, not like these other places where you get barely half of it. The toast was nice and crispy, but soft inside, and the eggs were fluffy. Yes, the toast was a bit greasy, but it's toasted with butter, what do you expect? I also had the caramel brulee lattee which I enjoyed just as much. A layer of hard caramalized sugar on top made it as fancy as it was tasty. The presentation is also on point, with a small cookie on a cute tray. Their niche is providing very high quality coffee which is complimented by level of customer service. + Quality: Simply enough - Aroma serves some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. I'm at the point of my coffee addiction where I'll drink almost anything - good coffee, bad coffee, cold coffee, etc. The coffee roasting scene is fairly prevalent in the SF Bay Area and somehow Aroma takes the cake. Excellent selection of beans which are fabulously roasted to perfection. + Pricing: I order my $5 Nitro and stick to it! Cold brews are also around $5 each and I imagine espresso drinks are around that price too. Coming from SF, I'm used to paying anywhere from $3 to - $5 for a drip coffee. To me, a well crafted, high quality cup of brew at the same price is a great deal to me. - Location: Like most start-ups, the location isn't the best. Aroma is located in a business park on on an interior street. I DO like that they are located next to an exotic car rental service so there's always fancy cars out front. That might just be Walnut though. Jerry also mentioned they will find a new, larger location within the next several months. No burnt beans here! They roast their beans in a beautiful Diedrich roaster. Would have loved to be there when the fresh beans come pouring out. There is no smell like it! I also love the ground beans in bell jars--beautiful display and fun to smell each aroma. There is nothing remotely close to this coffee shop in terms of taste, quality and friendliness in the area...It's not your typical coffee shop..no tables, no Wi-Fi to sit inside and spend all day...but you can spend all day in there sipping, drinking and talking to Jerry about coffee among other great things! The minute you walk in you can feel the love of coffee...the beans are roasted offsite but they roast their own...he puts the utmost care in every cup...He'll explain everything to you...so will his staff, on the occasion I went Tiffany was working... I also took his Pour Over Drip class where it's almost at a hands on level and definitely worth taking.....It was in English and Mandarin...especially helpful since my Mandarin is like preschool level! I actually visited his location the week prior to my class and had a cup pour over drip that day and it was excellent...please keep it pure...no cream no sugar...and just breathe in the aroma and drink the coffee to enjoy the flavor! I probably should have chosen another place but it seemed good from all the reviews on Yelp so I suggested it to my friend. We met up and the place is a nice size. It's tucked in a new strip mall in an business part to town. I wasn't too thrilled about that when I pulled up because it made it seem so sterile. They had several tables and chairs and the decor was definitely minimalist and you could tell very Asian. I ordered a Vanilla Latte which was around $6 and my friend ordered a coffee drink as well as a lava cake. He was a little shocked when the cashier said his total was $14! He asked how much was the lava cake and was told it was $8! Now, that's a little too pricey if you ask me so it left a bad taste in both our mouths. The coffee came out and they gave us a small complimentary bite-size snack. I kidded with my friend that this was the lava cake and we both had a good chuckle. The drinks are served on wooden trays so I give them props for presentation. The music was blasting however so I had to ask them to turn the volume down a little so that I and my friend could have a conversation without shouting at each other. They acquiesced to my request which was good. After a few hours, my friend and I parted ways and I was already thinking in my mind that I'd probably not come back again because it was too pricey, they didn't offer any refills and everything just seemed so sterile and uninteresting. I've spent most of my adult life in the Bay Area, and spending $7 daily for coffee became normal for me. I think I spent $6.50 for an oat milk latte here, and it was totally underwhelming. I'm not a coffee snob by any means, but I just wasn't a fan. The latte tasted burnt, and then they just threw some oat milk on top. Didn't warm it up. So i had a lukewarm burnt latte. Mehhh.
