Asian bakery noted for its a variety pastries as well as custom cakes!! Offers coffee and tea besides egg tarts and wife cakes!! Self serve by picking up a tray and choosing the packaged baked goods displayed on shelves .

Unique asian flavored cakes with good turnaround time. My new favorite spot for unique cakes!!! And super cute decorating and boxes. LOVE the durian cake!! Best cake ever (for durian fans) and it's also super cute. I've also tried the matcha grape cake, which was really interesting, I thought it was ok but my friends absolutely loved it. There are a bunch of unique and pretty options so definitely check it out a day before or on their website if you're planning on getting something. I recommend ordering the cake you want the day before if you know what you want, but if you go early in the morning they may have some available as well! They are making cakes throughout the day, once I went in to buy one of the cakes that had already been sold out, but they were already making one again in the back and was able to sell that one to me after waiting for a bit. You can definitely get lucky (:

Thank you, Little Swan, for baking us another delicious cake to celebrate our Mother's Day! Ever since Little Swan opened in Rowland Heights, our family and friends have been ordering cakes from this bakery for all of our events and celebrations. I love their bread but their cakes are even way above that - it is SO good! I think they have cuter designs and more cake selection at their original Alhambra location, but the quality of the cake is the same. The cashiers are very nice and provide good service, and the bakery is very clean. Little Swan in R.H. Is a 11/10!

Pricey prepared bread items, cake slices are around 8-10$. Pleasant atmosphere upon walking in, and quite a few workers when I showed up Saturday around 1pm. Their brulêe egg tart tastes and looks like a Portuguese egg tart. Wife cake was reasonably priced. They seem to sell through a higher volume of wife cakes, egg tarts, and whole cakes. First had little chicken cookies in San Francisco. They're addicting. Glad I found them here.

Today I needed to order a cake to celebrate gender reveal for my family. The cashier spoke with me patiently and clarified the details with me very well. She was very understanding to take the time to get my order right. I am very impressed with how the cake came out. The even free extra small gift with the cake! How adorable! Thank you! :) For people who didn't know how many possibilities this order could go wrong, let me explain. It was a long process to explain how I wanted the color outside the cake had to be neutral (not anywhere near blue or pink) while making sure that the cream inside is pink with strawberry flavor. I know it's an extra step for the staff to make sure that the baker doesn't mess up the color if the cream inside of the cake to be green or wrong color, which will confuse my family about what's the gender of the baby. Overall, the cake looks fabulous outside with gender neutral color, and the interior color is perfectly pink shade. And the layers of the cake stay in place when cutting. The baker didn't a great job! I will order future cakes from this shop again!

Little Swan is located in a large plaza. I visited this store on a Wednesday at around 6:00 PM to grab a few cake slices. Since it was near closing, there were some limited options left. I was able to grab (1) strawberry cake, (1) taro cake, and (1) matcha green grape cake. I asked the staff for a recommendation for something that wasn't too sweet, and they recommended the matcha slice. Overall, all the slices were layered very well. The strawberry had fresh strawberries on there and a jam near the bottom. The matcha one had a lot of grapes throughout but I would have preferred it if it didn't have it. This would be my ideal ranking of the cakes. 1) Taro 2) Strawberry 3) Matcha Green Grape Hope to grab the lychee cake in the next visit! American Express is accepted as payment here.

If you're looking for an aesthetic Asian cake to bring to someone's birthday, this place got it. They box them in clear boxes and tie a big pretty ribbon bow on it just like a luxury purse box. We got a Matcha Cake. Cake texture is very fluffy, moist, slightly bouncy and of course not too sweet. Cream all around and within was light and airy. What was a bit odd was they filled the cake layers with green grape, it was refreshing but most of our guests thought it didn't pair well. Matcha might have paired better with strawberry layers..

My husband and I made a special trip to visit this bakery with high hopes. Most everything was tasty except one thing. I wanted to try the Durian Crepe cake slice. I hope I would have tasted it while we were in the area so I could exchange it for something else. When I opened the clear box it let out a not so pleasant smell. It looked "ok" so I tasted it but it tasted as bad as it smelled. As I looked closer it has some small mold spores at different areas. If you're not from the area try their items before you drive off would be my suggestion to avoid having a similar experience.

I find that many Chinese bakeries typically offer the same breads - Pork Sung, Hot Dog Buns, Raisin Coconut Rolls, Green Onion Pork Sung Rolls, BBQ Pork Buns, etc. However, Little Swan offers more unique flavors that I do not see others have. They have the usual suspects as mentioned above, but there were so many breads that piqued my interest: Squid Ink Tuna/Chicken, Salted Egg Yolk bread varieties, and several more. I ended up buying a ton of different varieties just because it sounded good. They were all really good! Most of their breads are priced very reasonable and cheap. However, they specialty items such as Mini Pork Sung Cake ($9.99) and full size cakes are very pricey. While I really liked the Mini Pork Sung Cake, for the price, you get three tiny pieces and it just isn't worth the price. Honestly, they could fit a fourth piece in the box and it actually looks like it's missing a piece because they put three in a box. I wasn't a huge fan of their wife cake, it doesn't have that authentic taste and texture that I'm looking for. Service was helpful and overall friendly. I will definitely come back for their breads when I'm in the area!

New location, lots of options! Still love their cheese balls and I got a pack of sliced salty soft toast, so good. They have a lot of pre made cakes, in lots of sizes, which I would definitely check out later.

Tried the durian crepe cake ($8), and it was AMAZING!! It was almost like eating a straight up durian. Even my mom, who usually doesn't like sweets, loved it. Will definitely be getting this again for my family. We also tried the durian cheesecake ($6). I personally thought it tasted kind of weird and too creamy, but my parents thought it was really good too. So I think you should just try it and decide for yourself.

However, the bar must have been raised too high by the excellent in-house service, because I had an experience that turned my views completely sour. I commented on their Grand Opening instagram post, which contained AI-generated art. My comment was deleted and once I pointed that out, I was blocked shortly after this, within minutes. Now I get that businesses can do as they desire, however, this instantly repulsed me because it feels like they don't care about their community. Additionally, it reflects on them as a business in which they handle criticism, something that is inevitable when you serve the community. (They turned off the comments, as well.) They unblocked me to send me a message the following day, which I included in this review. Go here if you are looking for coffee close to you, but if you care about the full picture such as ethical labor practices, customer service, usage of AI, and attention to detail, I'm not sure if this is the right place for you. Specialty drinks are not cheap, and I'm thankful that Outpost showed me their true colors before I spent even more money here. They reminded me that there are other small family-owned businesses out there who also spend 100+ hour workweeks and don't treat people like this.

There are so many tea and boba shops opening now...startups or from Asia, and honestly most of them…read moreare disappointing. Some of the most popular and hyped-up shops have weak tea flavors, yet their wait times and sales are through the roof. Maybe it's placebo, maybe it's the hype...and today, I was invited to try ChaHalo's new Lychee Series, and these are my honest thoughts. (Also the shop is in a busy parking lot with lots of restaurants, stores, and grocery. The shop has very cushy chairs!) I tried all of the lychee drinks at 100% sweetness and tasted them immediately, as the ice started to settle, and again after the ice completely melted and am impressed that the flavors held up through each stage. I'd get them again except for the smoothie. Lychee Oolong Milk Tea: This was my favorite. It's milky with a pleasant sweetness, but neither the milk nor sweetness overpowers the oolong tea or lychee - the flavors were harmonious. The lychee adds just a tiny bit of tartness, while the oolong is fragrant without being too strong and they create a buttery flavor. Lychee Smoothie: This one was my least favorite, but mostly because I'm just not a huge smoothie person unless there's some creaminess to it. The smoothie also melts a little too quickly for my preference. There was a generous amount of house made lychee jelly, and I really liked it. The jelly didn't taste watered down at all. Every sip was smooth and pleasant, and the jelly added both a nice texture and an extra layer of lychee flavor. Lychee Jasmine Lemon Tea: This had a really nice sweetness, and again, the flavors worked well together. The jasmine tea was prominent, while the lemon was mild and added a pleasant fragrance without making the drink too sour. It also wasn't bitter, very light and refreshing. I want to point out: I actually hate the flavor of canned lychee. I love fresh lychee fruit, but canned lychee has a very distinct flavor that I personally don't enjoy. Canned lychee is used at probably almost every boba shop, so it's something to be mindful of when ordering lychee drinks. You should expect that distinct canned-lychee flavor rather than fresh lychee but depends on how the shop uses it. (same with longan) I think ChaHalo used it well. The lychee flavor was noticeable without completely taking over the tea, and the drinks continued to taste good even as the ice melted.
