They have 67 stores in 5 states with 20 more stores in development. They are known for offering a "farm to sip" coffee experience. They are committed to offering only 100 percent Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee, which meets rigorous environmental, social and economic standards which you can feel ethically good about drinking. An Aroma Joe's is a 800 to 900 foot free standing building with a drive through. The small footprint of the store allows it to make use of land larger businesses can't get into. The location in Pompano is located in a parking lot adjacent to Powerline Rd and has been open for over a year. I was out visiting Saturday morning rummage sales when in need of a refuel I passed this coffee house. They have all of the fancy coffee drinks in seasonal flavors along with energy drinks. breakfast, and snacks. For $5 I got an everything bagel and mocha peppermint cappuccino to go. The staff was extremely nice and a Yelp check in netted me 10 percent off which is always appreciated. The bagel was fresh and the coffee was delicious. The food and drinks are of a higher quality than a certain other ubiquitous chain around here. I am now a fan and will definitely be back. read more

I've been making my rounds on coffee spots in the area so had to stop in and give this place a try. Driving by this place is so charming! Inside was very clean, but not uniquely cute or cozy like the outside. I was impressed by the number of flavors you could add into your coffee. That is where this place stands out from others. It's like 20 options! I chose a mix of marshmallows and brown sugar cinnamon to add to my oat milk latte. It was delicious. The cutest little coffee shop ever!! I do believe Fate brought me to this sweet little spot. I was on my way home from downtown Fort Lauderdale and had to get off 95 and detour due to heavy traffic. Driving down Powerline looking for a drive through coffee shop and I locked eyes with the sign! Ive has this place bookmarked for months but never made it out here since I live so west. The worker in the drive thru was welcoming, pretty and so friendly. I told her it was my first time, I drink my coffee black and don't like anything too sweet. She told me the cold brew is what she drinks on the regular. I got it in medium and it was everything I needed. With hints of chocolate in the brew no additives are necessary. With a toddler in tow I always make sure he gets a treat when mama does . A fresh chocolate donut.. he inhaled it.. I literally got one small bite and it was pure heaven. This place puts Dunkin' Donuts to shame. I enjoyed this place and wish there was one closer to me in Coral Springs/ parkland. My first visit was aromalicious ~ Aroma Joe's - Find your fuel (logo)... Well I definitely found this feel good kind of coffee place and everything was prefect about my visit. I told the employee it was my first time at Aroma Joe's. They suggested a few specialty coffee drinks. The service was fast and friendly. They had my order made super quick. I ordered Aroma Joe's caramel way. It was prefect in sweetness and the double shot espresso within the drink was needed very much. The doughnuts were hard to resist. I ordered a chocolate sprinkled doughnut, which was a Boston cream within. It tasted like a heavenly decadent treat. I took my order to go. They do have a drive thru which is great when I'm low on time. I went inside this visit because I really wanted to look at the food items and menu. But plan on using drive thru next time. They have multiple locations in other states. I will keep them in mind while traveling too. They remind me of some other franchise coffee places (I don't want to say names). They have a wide selection of drinks on their menu from cold and hot, coffees, teas, snack foods, and breakfast sandwiches. They make amazing coffee, a great balance of not too sweet and bold flavors. They use great coffee beans and it comes out in their coffee creations. The first one opened in Florida. Aroma Joe's is a franchised chain. However this one is privately owned by the founder (Tim), his wife and two daughters. They have a good sized menu of beverages. They offer various coffee, expresso, frozen blended & signature flavored drinks. They also have breakfast options, snacks & some grab & go sandwich options. I came on their grand opening day celebration. The place was hopping when I arrived. They had a photo booth type set-up, raffles, samples of two of their grab & go sandwiches and complimentary made to order hot or iced coffee. I took a pic., entered the raffle, tried both grab & go sandwich samples and ordered and iced coffee. The service was super cheerful and friendly. The ambiance, like of you were in someone's living room having some coffee and light bites. Nice upbeat vibe. The picture, it came out cute I think, lol. The raffle, I won some stickers...cool. The grab & go sandwiches: turkey wrap was fresh good but nothing special, tuna salad sandwich was fresh and had hard boiled egg pieces in it, loved. The iced coffee, well this is where it fell short for me. The iced coffee favor is rich & bold with a strong aftertaste which I do not care for. This is with milk and sugar added. I prefer a rich yet smooth coffee taste/flavor. I do favor lattes over coffee so next time I'll try a latte. read more

First, the good: This is an adorable little coffee cottage that feels very welcoming and the kind of place I'd love to meet friends and hang out for awhile. The customer service was excellent! Everyone was properly masked, it was clean, no complaints. Also the food/snack options in the display case all looked enticing, not your usual coffeehouse options. More original. And they have a hugely extensive menu. Like the biggest coffee drink menu I've ever seen. So many options! Now, the not so good. This is just not my kind of coffee. Perhaps I ordered incorrectly? Although there are tons of options, there are ALOT of very sweet, confection type drinks. I'm sure many people love them, but I've reached an age where I must respect the abilities of my pancreas! So to compare apples to apples, I got what I always get at any coffee place...the biggest size iced latte, with 2 pumps of whatever flavor. This was super weak. Like maybe 50% milk? I could tell by the color it was weak. Maybe I should have asked for more shots or something. So for that reason it's hard for me to say if the coffee was good or not. It was just too weak. My husband got something called a Wicked Mudslide which I told him sounded too sweet. He took a sip and proclaimed it amazing but after drinking about a 1/3 of it he couldn't drink anymore. I refrained from saying I TOLD YOU SO! I might stop by IF I'm ever in that area which is almost never. But I'll definitely either get something with more shots or just a tea. read more

Service service service. Since moving we haven't been able to visit as much. But we've made it a point to satisfy our coffee fix the past 2 months by revisiting our old haunt here a few times. And nothing has changed in the best possible way. I always appreciate a coffee shop that makes you feel super welcome and instills a sense of hominess in the atmosphere. Aroma Joe's does exactly that. The baristas are always pleasant and helpful...seriously some of the best I've had in any coffee shop. And as a teacher during covid times, caffeine runs through my veins at this point, so I've frequented quite a few to have a good standard on which to go by. Last time we went, my husband and I made a mention to the barista that we were so happy to visit again after being away for so long that she gave us both free coffee coupons to use next time!!! Who does that?! The answer is- These guys do. I'm in love with all of their coffee, but my favorite include the Mocha & the PB & J one. When I worked in the area for about 7 years DD was my go-to, but after working more north and then most recently returning to the area for work I like having another option for coffee. Not only is the quality and staff great, but the seating options and atmosphere is more chill and relaxing. Plus, they have a drive-theu for those days you are in a rush or simply don't want to go inside. Reecently they had an Office of the Day promo and our company was selected which meant a free drink beverage for the entire day. I'm normally a cold brew fan through and through but a colleague recommended the Witches Brew which is 1/2 iced coffee and 1/2 chocolate milk. Genius! I'm not sure how those two pairings never crossed my mind before, but it works and I recommend trying it. (Although just between us I asked for a little more iced coffee than chocolate milk). They do also offer some food options as light bites, such as breakfast sandwiches and empanadas, as well as other healthy snacks. Found this cool little coffee shop while driving home. If you're tired of Starbucks and want something clean and familiar yet not as corporate, give it a visit. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I asked for some clarification on one of the coffee beverages and they were happy to clarify what was in it. The Caramel Way is very good if you like a smooth sweet drink. There is plenty of seating inside and outside, with a few outlets around the perimeter if you'll be here a while. This would have been a five-star visit if their WiFi was working. Unfortunately it appeared to be down at the moment which was a real bummer. read more

There are lots of tables plus comfy chairs and couches. The staff is very friendly. Big smiles and happy to answer any questions. They have every coffee drink imaginable plus a nice selection of teas. I've had a couple breakfast sandwiches. Pretty tasty. And my best friend swears by their empanadas although I have yet to try them. They offer $1 coffee refills if you're drinking on site. The coffee is delicious. And they offer a variety of non dairy milks if you're so inclined. I've stopped by a couple times when I'm in pompano and I'm happy I did. This place just has good energy. Super clean and great light come In From the large windows. A spacious interior is paired with a nice sized outdoor patio. The staff is super friendly. I got a breakfast sandwich. It was good, but you could tell it was one of those premade sandwiches they just warm up. I got an iced coffee. The coffee has a strong, robust flavor that I like. But this was a tab bit too much for me. The beans lean on the burnt side. Still solid. As far as chains this isn't a bad option. I don't think they have any other locations down here. This is such a cute coffee shop and has quickly become my favorite place to grab a cup of coffee and get some studying done at. The owners and staff are personable, welcoming and always greet you with a smile. I've been here many times since discovering their location and have yet to be disappointed. The customer service here at Aroma Joe's is always exceptional. I really appreciate the warm greeting through the drive through as well as from the counter. The drive through is a cool concept in that you order at one window and pick up from the other window - no intercom...nice and personal ;) They have a very creative menu with tons of syrup flavor options as well as flavored coffee to choose from. Their pastries are pretty good and they have a variety of breakfast sandwiches. They all come with egg which makes them a bit more filling. I prefer the sausage egg and cheese since it comes on a biscuit. The sausage is a bit spicy but not over powering. The sandwiches aren't "fresh" per se, but they are yummy. I think they're packaged and then microwaved (assuming from how the cheese is clumped together like 2 small slices on top of each other when you separate it from the bread).
