I do not recommend using Mike to move your belongings. Positives: very good at communication; prompt and always kept me informed about where he was (he was 20 minutes late which was no problem as he kept me in the loop). Negatives: I told him exactly what I had to move (except I forgot about one chair). I only had large furniture items; no boxes, etc. it took longer than it should have because he brought a smaller truck than was needed so they had to rework the furniture to make it fit. In addition, my son's bed was not a common one to put together. He should have paid more attention when taking it apart as he may not have gotten it back together had I not found the instruction manual. The big clincher as to why I do not recommend him is his attitude when putting my tv's on the wall. We agreed he would hang three tv's for me. He hung one. When hanging the one in my son's room I asked my son several times if that's where he wanted it hung. My son is autistic and he has a tendency to change his mind on things as well as won't speak up and advocate for himself. The placement seemed a bit too high and I was ensuring it was where he wanted it not that he was just going along with what Mike said. When I was questioning my son Mike kept making remarks. This is a conversation between my son and me and none of your business. My advice to you, Mike, is to watch your place. You have no business stepping into the middle of someone else's conversation, especially when you don't know the whole story. NONE of YOUR BUSINESS!! Then, when trying to determine the placement on the wall for the second tv the two men (Mike and his helper) were holding it lopsided. I kept telling the one on the left to lift it up 3" to level it so I could determine placement. Each time I said that Mike would also lift his side so they kept moving it up the wall slanted. All I needed was for Mike to hold his side level and his helper to lift his side. Mike started getting mad at me and talking under his breath. He basically threw a temper tantrum and stormed out without finishing the job. I'm now left trying to find someone to hang my two tv's. If you question his ability or what he's doing he can't handle it. I could have dealt with the other minor issues but to make remarks like "I can't handle this" and "I need to get out of here" is extremely unprofessional. Again, I would NOT recommend Mike for your moving job. **** after posting my review I received a text from Mike. I took a screenshot and uploaded it into the photos. Details: Mike and his crew moved us from Vegas to Reno in June 2022 as a military move. *Positives*: Mike is the owner and is extremely good at *communicating*. He never kept me waiting, and when he said he'd show up at 7, he showed up at 7. He was *never late* and he always sent a text ahead of time to remind me that they were on their way. I have done a lot of military moves and he was BY FAR the best moving company so far as communication and timeliness. His crew also did a great job packing our stuff and they *respected* the rules and the property of our condominium building. -Negatives-: Since this was a military move, I explained to Mike that I had to pay for the move upfront and then ask the government for reimbursement. The reimbursement was not based on his invoice, but rather based on the weight of the household goods. I repeatedly reminded Mike that he needed to weigh the truck on the way to Reno so I could be reimbursed. When I asked for the weight receipts at the destination, Mike stated he didn't weigh the truck and tried to play it off as "I thought you were going to meet me at the weight station". Meeting at the weight station was never discussed, and even if I give Mike the benefit of the doubt on this detail it doesn't erase the fact that he could have called and clarified this detail if that is the way he understood it. His -negligence- to the detail that gets me -reimbursed- has created a huge headache for me and I still have not been reimbursed for my move. Additionally, one -other negative- is that his crew did an extremely -sloppy- job of re-assembling my furniture. We recently upgraded our master bed, and when I went to disassemble the bed that his crew had recently re-assembled I discovered they only put maybe 1/3 of the screws back in and nearly none of them were fully tightened. Positives: Communication. Timeliness. Quality packing. Negatives: Sloppy furniture assembly and did not follow instructions which lead to reimbursement issues for me. Bottom line: I would use Mike's company again. But I would be much more wary of accountability and follow through. read more

Worst moving experience I ever had. Don't use this company, especially if you're black. He's black owned and told me "BLACK FOLKS!" He said the move shouldn't take more than 3hrs. They just had to fill my UBOXS containers, no driving, no stairs, just walk to the parking lot. The problem is that Mike doesn't know how to pack UBOXS. I had to pay another company $179 to pack my UBOXS properly. He has yet to pay for the damages to the flooring. He told his insurance company he'd pay it. June 26th is 1 month and he hasn't paid $100 yet. There's no reason a mover should leave a person's property like this and drive off. I had to flag down the first person I saw to help me put all my things in the UBOXS. I was hurt to my core that Mike would leave me like that. BUT HE DID AND THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. read more

Lets face it.....moving is STRESSSSFUL but Around The Clock Movers made my move the smoothest it has ever been. This was my first time ever using a moving company and I had two friends previously refer me to Mike to help me out and it was literally the best decision I made. Mike was very clear about details and pricing over the phone when I scheduled and when he arrived for the move. When he arrived we did a walk through of what exactly was being moved, what was staying and what was going in the dumpster. Both gentlemen were extremely kind and respectful and were quick. All the furniture was broken down by them and wrapped. Mirrors and pictures were wrapped and protected. Nothing was damaged or broken during the move! Terrible company! Beware of them. They took 12 hours to help me finish packing and move me. They also underestimated the amount of stuff and took 2 trucks to move me (which I had already been quoted by another mover it would take but this guy assured me it wouldn't take 2 trucks). They didn't pack professionally and didn't label all the boxes. They didn't put things back in the rooms they belong in and instead by the second trip had just started unloading everything into my garage. Furthermore they broke my furniture and claim they are insured but after I pointed out things they broke the owner got nasty with me and started yelling and accusing me of having so much stuff and claiming they didn't break it. They he offered to fix it himself (which can't be fixed because the broken off piece is missing) and he fixed the drawer they broke yesterday while he was on the clock charging me per hour. This is the most unprofessional company. Just a bunch of kids, not professional movers. They were polite and showed up 15 min early. read more

From the first bit of communication organizing our move to the very end, Mike and his crew were extremely professional. Punctual with their arrival time to get the moving started and arrived at our destination with our belongings before my family did. So when we needed movers again it was a no-brainer for us to hire them. I reached out a month in advance for a booking. And I had communication with Mike for the week leading up to our move. But today, on the morning of the move, they didn't show. Didn't even call to say they were running late or something it happened. Just did not show up. We called and texted multiple times and have still not gotten a response. I'm getting two stars because of the good experience we had before.
