When this place opened I absolutely loved it. The staff was friendly and attentive and they continue to be. 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, my last few experiences with the food have been very poor. Partner and I ordered the calamari and the nachos. The calamari was so over seasoned that we left most of it on the table. The nachos were even worse than the calamari. I dare say that they were the worst nachos I've ever eaten. The chips looked and tasted like they were coated with an entire can of Old Bay seasoning. They too were so salty, we had to leave the majority of them behind, generating a surprised look from the server when we declined a to-go box for either dish. The nachos were piled high with lettuce, tomatoes, chips, and whatever seasoning that was, but we had to dig to the very bottom to find any of the ground beef which was very sparse. The container of salsa and sour cream that accompanied our huge plate of nachos was so small it was gone with about 4 chips. We'll come back for drinks, but we're definitely becoming wary of the quality of the food at this location. read more

Amazing Experience at Art & Jake's - East Lansing! It's worth the visit and ask for Morgan! We had such a fantastic dining experience at Art & Jake's in East Lansing! The food was absolutely delicious -- every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A special shoutout to our server, Morgan, who was truly outstanding. We were definitely a high-maintenance table and asked about a million questions, but Morgan handled everything like a champ. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The environment is top notch! Love the outdoor area that is enclosed for winter, with the fire place tables its the best ambiance! You can still enjoy that sports bar vibe but get cozy! We have tried a different food item every time and they have been top notch! They have the good fries and the good ranch! IYKYK! Wings are also on point and remind me of DeLucas (RIP). Those Lansing Natives will know! I got the dirty bird and it was amazing! We always get the spinach dip and its the bomb! Stopped into Art & Jakes Sports Bar East Lansing and had a fantastic experience. Morgan was our server, and she truly elevated the entire visit. I've visited this restaurant twice, and both times were amazing! My guests and I were very impressed. We were seated quickly, the drinks were exceptional, and the food presentation was beautiful. The wait staff was friendly and full of excellent suggestions. The only minor drawback is that it can get quite loud, but that's to be expected in a lively spot like this--it didn't take away from the overall experience. Keep up the great work! We had reservations for a party of 22. From the moment we walked in to when we left, everything and everyone was amazing. Servers were very friendly, knowledgeable, kept our drinks full and everyone's food orders were right & delicious. They had us in & out in about an hour! Which was much appreciated as we had little ones with us who don't sit still very long. You dont find such great customer service like this much anymore. We'll definitely be back. read more

came out to celebrate a casual birthday, and all though there were a couple things wrong with our order, Lex took care of us 100%. he even showed me the seasoning mix for the rocket seasoning! (favorite thing here!) Love this place!! Food is great, lots of TV's to watch whatever sport you are in to and most importantly the bartenders are AMAZING!! Ayla, Sidney, Hannah, Autumn...they're all wonderful.
