My husband and I were craving pizza, but we're picky. We usually stick with Fox's, but after hearing good things about Arte Pizza, we decided to give it a try and OMG, this pizza was bomb.com. We ordered the supreme pizza, and it was sooo good. The dough tasted fresh, perfectly cooked, and the pizza had so much flavor. I'm pretty sure the magic is in the sauce because everything just worked together so well. We did pickup, and I loved that they brought the pizza straight out to the car...super convenient and great service. We'll definitely be back because now I want to try their pastas and other dishes. Delicious pizza and Stromboli's! My favorite is the white pizza which has 3 types of cheeses mozzarella, feta, and ricotta! Topped with basil and fresh tomatoes. I had the meat lovers but I do not prefer it just because it can get greasy and too heavy! I would better opt for a pepperoni and jalapeño or sausage instead. Wonderful pizza! We ordered a medium cheese and a medium meat lovers pizza and OMG the crust was perfect- not too thin - not too thick- just right! This is the pizza that when you take a bite the cheese stretches from your mouth to the slice! It was so delicious! you place your order at the counter and then sit at your table- it's casual but the waitress came to the table all through the meal to make sure we were good, took empty plates and brought us a to go box! Happened upon this restaurant while exploring historic downtown Brunswick. They have a little bit of everything from pizzas to calzones to Panini's to salads to pastas. I ordered a meatball Panini and only ate half of it. It came with a side salad, which was very good. Great experience at night on First Friday celebration night. Restaurant was busy, yet we were able to get a booth for the 4 of us and food within 10ish minutes, after navigating the order line. You stand in line to order then find seat and wait for food. The bar is along side the line to order so, I recommend that you ask people, if they are in line to order or just standing around at the bar. A bit of outdoor seating as well. There were families there on a Friday night. Good atmosphere for all ages. We will repeat. I would like to get pizza next time, but the lasagna.........YUM! read more

The pizza is so good we take a small detour to get it on the way from North Carolina to Florida. They gave us a little plate of garlic bread sticks with a vinaigrette to dip them in. The vinaigrette was nothing special, but those little sticks were yummy. The crust is thin but has the wonderful fluff and bite texture that comes from being kneaded correctly for long enough. The sauce and the pepperoni play well together on the pie. The Italian sausage that they use is mild and not super peppery. I wish I could steal this place and put it in concord some where. My only gripe is that the soda machine isn't mixed well. The coke was a bit too syrupy and strange. read more

I was just a little newbie Yelper the last time I visited this place, and I didn't even have the Yelp app the year before on my first visit, so I figure now on my third visit (now a Yelp Elite) I should really give this place the full blown review it deserves. Arte Pizza is a fabulous little restaurant with absolutely wonderful pizza. There's a small list of great pizza places I frequent back in Charlotte, NC and they each have their own style of delicious pies, but the more I think about it Arte might be my definitive "favorite" pizza place. Maybe it has something to do with it being a couple hundred miles away in Brunswick, GA (meaning I only get to visit on rare occasion) but theres just something special about this place. It's a small building with diner-esque table setup and a front counter where you order your pizza and drinks. As the name might suggest the walls are covered with paintings (available for purchase) from local artists. It really gives it a unique feel. This place has personality, both in the decor and the wonderful staff. We decided to split a 20" Pepperoni & Italian Sausage between four people and everyone left satisfied. As I would expect of a Georgia restaurant the sweet tea was on point, and the complimentary bread we snacked on while waiting for our pie was garlic butter heaven. They use a wood fired oven for all their pizza and it does wonders for the crust. Some places that boast about their ovens end up having too much char on the bottom but this crust is perfection. Thin but still maintaining structure, light and airy, with the magic balance of chewy interior and crisp exterior, especially near the edge. The sauce really comes through too. You can taste basil and tomato and garlic all independently complimenting the layer of cheesey mozzarella goodness and the spices of the pepperoni and sausage. It just so good. Every bite is exactly what you imagine a perfect pizza should be. If you happen to roadtrip down to Florida for a vacation or some such event (or just live nearby) make sure you route through Brunswick, GA and give this place some love. My sister wanted to eat brick oven pizza so we used Yelp and found this place. It ended up being some of the plainest pizza we ever had. I'm not sure if they even put sauce on either pizza but you could not taste it. The crust was also very plain. It was crisp but there was no seasoning or butter on the crust to give it any flavor. TL;DR: Expectations exceeded. There's something to be said about what you expect walking into a lunch spot like Arte Pizza. The decor is a little dated, and with a simple counter next to a blackboard with the menu, you might expect the pizza to come to you on a paper plate and a can of soda. However, this is not the case at Arte as the service was attentive and friendly, and the food came well priced and in large portions. When we walked into the restaurant for lunch on a Saturday, where the capacity was limited and masks were encouraged (COVID-19 precautions), we were greeted by a very friendly waiter who was also working the register. The menu was simple: pizza, subs, calzones, and wings all in the $8 bracket per entree. There was also the option of pasta. Altogether, well priced and affordable, with a lunch special of a pizza slice, a salad, and a drink for $8.25. I was delighted to see that beer and wine were options for beverages served by the glass in this small store. When we sat down, we were surprised to receive complimentary breadsticks, which were dry and oily, but more than I thought I'd receive here. Our meal was brought out on ceramic plates, not paper, and between the well-dressed house and Caesar salads and our entrees, we received more than healthy portion of food. In fact, we ended up with leftovers for lunch another day! Plenty of bang for your buck here. Throughout our stay, the server came by frequently, offering refills of breadsticks, and asking about our meal. While this is normal in any fine dining restaurant, it was a nice surprise in a casual dining atmosphere. And while the food I ordered, the Cesar's Stromboli, and the breadsticks were a little too toasted to the point of dryness, overall the experience was much more than it appeared it would be, at half the cost! Great spot for a quick, well-priced lunch where the staff is happy to see you. read more

This place has been in downtown Brunswick for years yet they still struggle to do even simple things right. Such as our take out pepperoni pizza with onions and garlic added. It was inedible. Garlic is a flavor enhancer NOT an actual ingredient and there should not be as much garlic as pepperoni. This abomination had more garlic on it than pepperoni. Whoever created this thing should be forced to eat a piece. They obviously have no clue how to cook with garlic. The garlic overwhelmed us in the car. But what really gets me is that they had the nerve to serve it! Clearly there is no quality control in the kitchen. That's the manager's job. But this should come as no surprise. When the place first opened they served pizza that was burnt black on the bottom and around the edge. I've seen that. Why is it so hard to find good pizza in Brunswick? And don't say Fox's.
