The faculty was beautiful two-story building. The class itself was taught by three instructors who alternated leading the class and assisting guests. The class lasted about an hour and all of the materials required (weights, bar, yoga mat, towels, sanitizers, aerobic boards, etc.) were provided. The class lasted about an hour and let me tell you I definitely felt it that day and the following days. It was total body too, which I appreciated. If I'm going to leave the comfort of my home I need you to work out my entire body (arms, chest, back, abs, glutes, thighs, etc.). The music also helped keep me motivated. One whack song and I suddenly loose the encouragement to workout. This class kept the music live and entertaining (so much so I did a little break down during the squats section!) Afterwards, you can go to the locker room and shower. Towels and soap are provided - you'll just need to bring everything else. As I was waiting for my friends I took a little self-directed tour, which reveals a children's play area, a pool, and restaurant on the first floor. The second floor had stationary machines, 3 basketball courts, and an areas where there looked to be personal training sessions going on. The building is a glass exterior so you had a nice view while on the second floor. For all the things they offered then membership fee of around $35 per month appeared very fair. I think there may also be a student/government employee discount - check it out! I enjoyed myself and will definitely be returning!

There are people of all different ages and fitness abilities working out here so it's very inclusive. One of the things i appreciated is after joining, you can meet with one of the trainers for free to create a program for you to do on your own and they go over how to use the equipment since it is more techy than what I've used in the past. They do offer personal training for a fee too if you want to have a trainer. They have a daycare which we utilize with our 1 year old. He has never gone to a sitter or daycare except for here when I am working out and the staff have all be EXCEPTIONAL with him and I appreciate how they are with him and have total peace of mind dropping him off so that I can have some "me time". My only complaint is sometimes it's hard to find a time slot for him, so it does help if you have a flexible schedule. The wellness center also offers a pool, steam room, sauna and classes. I have been to one class and used the sauna & steam room a couple times, but I look forward to being able to use all of the amenities they offer. The wellness center has lots of space and I am so happy we joined. If you're on the fence about joining, just do it!

I've worked with Mark Morgan for several years now, and he is, without question, the best trainer I've ever worked with. His knowledge of fitness, strength training, mobility, and overall health is incredible, but what really sets him apart is after all these years, he continues to challenge me, and somehow keeps me engaged even on the days I'm not feeling it. As a former college athlete, I've become noticeably stronger, my overall fitness has improved, and I can do things today that I couldn't do when I started. When I've had physical concerns (including a fun year with frozen shoulder) I relied so heavily on the expertise and experience of Dr. Jon Francis - who is absolutely incredible... and also a phenomenal trainer himself! But the biggest transformation hasn't been physical. The greatest gift F3 has given me has been my mental health. Life is busy, stressful, and demanding, and that hour has become something I genuinely need. No matter how I walk through the door--stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed, or distracted--I always leave feeling happier, more energized, and in a better headspace than when I arrived. The entire team at F3 is so welcoming & encouraging. I've made genuine friends in some of the trainers and others who work out there. I've seen great athletes improve, and I've seen people regain their lives there. It is a space for everyone, completely free of judgment. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or you've been training for years, Mark meets you where you are and pushes you to become the best version of yourself. The Monon Community Center is amazing in so many ways. I love the variety of the gym equipment available, even though I mostly only use the ellipticals. I love the knowledgeable instructors who teach the yoga classes; some of these people have had such an impact in my life. I love the friendly people behind the counter who are supremely helpful and kind every day. This is a peaceful and clean and welcoming gym for everyone. It's a play to get healthy and stay healthy physically and mentally.
