So for a couple of weeks now my husband and I have been driving by this new establishment in Anderson. I think it used to be Perkins restaurant at some point in the Peppermint Pig shopping center off Beechmont. I think a couple of other cuisines tried this place but were unsuccessful. You can imagine my surprise when we drove by and the shopping center parking lot is packed with cars. We were intrigued. At some point we realized it was the same Arthur's from Hype Park due to the same font. We decided to check it out. It's your typically family hang out (at least it's not a chain). I don't think they did much renovations because you can clearly see the Perkins set up. But I have not been to the Hyde Park one before so I am not sure what that one looks like. We started off with their cheese sticks which apparently won Cincinnati's Best. These cheese sticks were lightly breaded and wrenched in oil to fry. I didn't like them. I could taste frying oil. We went on a Tuesday night which was their burger madness night where you pick a burger and add as many toppings and cheese as you want for $8.99 plus fries. Not a bad deal at all. I opted for their regular meat burger, chipotle barbecue and blue cheese. I know I totally didn't take advantage of all of those toppings. My burger was cooked medium well and was very juicy, pretty decent size. Their fries is pretty good as well. Crispy, long and just the right amount salty. Overall, nice dinner but definitely not something that I will remember for months to come. Affordable is another reason we might go back but I don't think 40 minute wait will be justified again. read more

My wife and I took my mother, and my father-in-law here today for lunch. It was busy, and we had to wait about 15 min, but it was worth it. Pros: The food was great... They have mostly sandwiches and burgers, but the do have some great soups and salads, fish-n-chips and a few other miscellaneous dishes. I had the Ruben, it was top notch. The bread was great. The corned beef, kraut, and dressing all had great flavor. I also had a bowl of the Chicken Tortilla soup, it is flavorful and full of chicken. My wife had a burger and she said it was very good even being cooked well done it was juicy. My mom and my father-in-law both had the Fish-n-Chips. The consensus there was that it was the fish was great. The fish is a North Atlantic Cod, it as well as other items, is battered in their beer batter. The beer batter is just awesome. While we are talking about the beer batter, they have fried cheese battered in this beer batter and i would recommend that you try it. This is not your average cheese-stick. They do have a full service bar and a nice beer selection... The service was some of the best I've ever had. Cons: At this point after just the one visit, I don't see one. read more

Sad to say but I was completely underwhelmed by our meal here. I don't know if it is not as good as the original or if the food has just gone downhill. Starting out, the popper wantons were delicious. Fried cream cheese and jalapeños, yum. The cheese sticks were not as good. They had a lot of potential. I haven't seen beer battered cheese sticks and I was intrigued. However they came out swimming in oil and with a cheese to breeding ratio that I was not crazy about. The drinks we ordered were awful. I added all of the citrus from the water glasses to mine and it made it drinkable. The onion rings were ok but I expected them to be beer battered like the cheese sticks and they were just the standard breading. The burger was pretty meh for me. Service was ok. Beyond boring burgers. I was very disappointed because we were looking forward to a great local burger place. Not here! I have never had a burger taste more like nothing and have 5 toppings on it! I will say I also never thought I would say the next line either BUT- the fried cheese sticks were incredible- hand breaded light tempura type batter and with a good sauce (kids ordered). Next time will stick to the good selection of beers and cheese sticks until they learn how to season their meat. read more

Now that they are open for lunch it was easy to get in. Food was good, had a burger, it was under seasoned but decent. The mayoless coleslaw was outstanding, put a little on my burger and it brought it to life. The wife had the chicken fingers which she rated as good also. We opted for Cajun fries and decided next time would just order them plain. Worth another look, I hear Graeter's is calling our name. For years, I have enjoyed going to Arthur's in Hyde Park so I was hesitant about visiting this location for fear it wouldn't be as good! It fits this community well, providing a nice family meal option among the chain offerings of Beechmont Avenue. The space is divided into three dining areas with ability to move tables to accommodate larger crowds as well as offering booths. Based on only two visits, I thought burger madness, cod sandwich, fries, and cheesesticks our table picked were just as tasty as what I've had at HP. I appreciate friendly and attentive staff, but on one occasion we had at least 3 different servers approach our table while we were eating to try and remove un-finished plates. On our next visit we had a great server who was attentive without rushing us by trying to remove plates until we were done. read more

It's hard to find a place with not only good burgers but they are able to cook them exactly how you like it. It had great flavor and it was super juicy. Also, it was fairly priced too. Arthur's was a great place to eat in Anderson. My family made the mistake of eating here on a Friday night, but even on the its busiest night the wait was only about 30 min. The entire table ordered the award winning cod sandwich, which lived up to its award winning status. Fish was juicy and delicious and the marble rye bread was thick enough that it didn't get soggy. Even with the crowd the service was quick and very helpful. The busser did spill tartar sauce down my mother-in-laws leg and she could of handled that situation better, but I think she was young and embarrassed (no points deducted) From beginning to end the experience at Arthur's was great. I think they're known for their burgers so I want to try one of those on our next visit. BTW - Arthur's serves craft beers brewed locally in the Tri-State! read more

We called to reorder and drove back to pick up. The manager came out personally to apologize. She comped the burger and gave us a personally signed gift certificate. The Boursin burger is absolutely my favorite burger of all time! The service here is great! You will NEVER have an empty drink cup! They just keep refilling and love how every waiter and waitress work together so you may have a different person every time and that's okay because your getting taken care of through out your entire meal. I highly recommend you try the mozerella sticks they are expensive but they are so worth the price and they are HUGE! Normal sticks my husband and I can finish off with no problem but these sticks we can't finish because they are that big! read more

Great to have another Arthur's around & happy that it's a bit closer to where I live. This one has the same great menu items as the Arthur's in Hyde Park (lots of burgers & sandwiches, plus great chili). Similar decor & atmosphere (pub style). I miss the cozy vibe of the excellent outdoor seating available in HP (the enclosed garden feel), but all in all, this location is still superb (and I won't miss the patio in the cold weather anyway). I had a few different items in my first visit to the Anderson location & was pleased across the board. Burgers & Chili were as delicious as they always are at Arthur's. I'm Glad for the new convenient location & will definitely be going back to this one. read more

One of the best hamburgers in the city. Try Tuesday unlimited burger toppings. PS they cook the burgers to order and they under cook one notch. If you want medium you probably will get med rare.its great just need to know the ins and outs. It's great knowing that there are places of which will cook to order. Try that at Applebee's. My family loves this restaurant! The menu is terrific, the food is great, and the service and atmosphere are really comfortable. It can be busy at times, but worth the wait. It feels like a family gathering when you are there, mainly because the staff is so comfortable. The menu has some great takes on classics like Ruebens and Chicken Fingers and some unique items. The food is great and reasonably priced. During all the COVID things, the staff is very diligent on wearing their mask properly and ensuring customers do as well. So I have mixed feelings about Arthur's. My family loves to go here, but I just wasn't feeling it. We had the buffalo blasts as an appetizer. They were buffalo chicken wrapped in wonton wrappers and served with ranch dressing. They were pretty mild, not too spicy at all. I got the mahi mahi tacos with pineapple salsa. They weren't super flavorful, but they were a good size and pretty filling. Arthur's has a pretty solid beer list with several local selections, so if you are just wanting a quick beer, this would be a good option in the Anderson area. read more
