Random electronic parts are all over the place, and the employees barely speak English. Some random Indian guys were testing and negotiating a whole crate of used iPads while I was there. Very nice people, but not useful. Had to get a phone battery replaced, and it almost comical the disorganization of the place. It felt like a scene from the bazaar from Blade Runner. They couldn't open the case, so gave up after 25 minutes, and refunded my money. No problem, but wasted time and no fix. Oh well.

I was a bit hesitant at first because the cost seemed high, but I agreed to it. After getting my phone fixed here, there were so many things that went wrong: 1. The brightness was set at max at all times, even when I tried to turn it down 2. My phone began dying at 30% and couldn't hold a charge I took it back a month later to address the brightness issue. This was slightly fixed when he reseated the display, but still wouldn't dim as much as it normally should. This was within warranty so I was not charged for this service. I came back soon after (within 3 months) to get my battery fixed and they refused to help me replace it stating that I had no receipt (which they never provided at the time of transaction, but have my bank statement). They also said that I had to pay for a new battery if I wanted it to be replaced. Even with my inflated battery, I did not have the issue of it holding a charge or dying before it hit 5%. I am very unsatisfied with my service at this repair shop. I did not believe people when they said I should just get my phone fixed at Apple, but after this experience I will definitely not return.

I first called the Apple Store and was told that screen repair costs $129, or up to $269 if they find something else wrong with my phone (damn you apple). So I turned to Yelp to look for a reliable repair store. I called iCracked earlier today and spoke with AJ, who informed me that a screen repair for my iPhone 5 (no LED damage) is $85. Even though the location is a nearly 30 minute drive from my home, I decided it was my best bet. They are located inside a 1 hour photo store (so look for that and not "iCracked"), and I was told it would take about 1.5 hours for the repair (they were working on another phone when I got there, so I'm sure the actual time is a lot less). After the repair, my phone looked amazing, and they even put on a free screen cover. I spoke with AJ, who informed me about their lifetime warranty (just when I thought things couldn't get any better). Basically, one of the most solid 5 stars I have ever given out (and this is review #435 for me). Quality work, amazing/friendly customer service, and efficient. Nothing more I could ask for. Highly recommend!!
