I picked up our order, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful when I got there. Our pizzas were just coming out of the oven when I arrived, so they were perfect! The flavors did not disappoint either! The ingredients and combos are well thought through and balanced, and the fact that they offer a high-quality gluten-free crust is the cherry on top! Wow, I find the owner or manager's response to my honest review disheartening and disappointing. I certainly meant no Ill will or was I saying "spiteful garbage" as he said. I have no reason to be spiteful, and why would I write constructive criticism in a review on something if I really loved it or even liked it, that makes zero sense. And I find it highly inappropriate that you responded by writing my review was "hyperbole, flat out lies and spiteful garbage" by doing so you are calling me a spiteful exaggerated liar for giving my honest review of our experience. And I wasn't any of those things. It may not be everyone's experience, as others have reviewed that they loved their pizza, but what I wrote was our experience. I can't change our experience. However, there are other reviews that have expressed the same feelings as my review. I wished we would have loved our pizza. We were really looking forward to an artisanal pizza. We ordered two pizzas and we were disappointed with both. They were lacking sauce, cheese and toppings, it definitely was a disappointment, and they were both burnt. Maybe it was an off night, maybe my expectations were too high, I don't know. I even looked at my order to make sure I didn't make a mistake, and that I had actually order green pepper and onion, and cheese, which I did. However, There was only a couple of slivers on the whole pizza, and that is the truth of our pizzas. I was disappointed that I had such high expectations from an artisan pizza shop, and unfortunately we were disappointed. And it's very disappointing to see a response from the owner/manager like this. I gave kudos for it arriving fast and hot. And I gave three stars for pizza I didn't eat. I thought I was being considerate of it possibly being a one off and it had arrived fast and hot. But, for the inappropriate response I wish I could give zero stars. My review definitely wasn't close to "flat out lies, hyperbole, spiteful garbage", just an honest review of our experience. I've written over 450 reviews, with most of them being 5 star, because I had wonderful experiences, including customer service. It saddens me that one can't write about their real experience without getting backlash from the owner/manager. A three star sir wasn't bad. And what I wrote wasn't spiteful at all. Had the Luisa and the apple pie dessert pizzas. Both were really, really good. Used the app to order and picked it up to go. Good thing because there were 15 people in line waiting to order. Artisan Pizza is like Subway for pizza. I like the crust and the huge selection of toppings. People are very friendly and I like the decor especially the huge rebar table legs. We move back to the area after about 15 yrs and have been looking for some go to places to eat. We decided to try Arisan, and it was a good choice. You order at the register, and they give you your glass to self serve if you get fountain drinks. The pizza are more individual sized, so we each ordered our own. They make it right in front of you with fresh ingredients, and they stick it in the brick oven. It's a quick process and you get a nice fresh, tasty pizza in short order. There had been nothing but fantastic reviews of this place and it's close by so a friend and I decided to give it a try one week night. The concept is simple enough, a few pizza's ready to go and then a decent list of ingredients if you want to create your own. I decided to go with one on the list with sausage, 3 kinds of cheese, mama's red sauce and fresh basil. The sauce amount was skimpy as was the cheese and the sausage.. so really it was just a cheese pizza. They just put a few piece of fresh basil on top which works fine for traditional pizza ovens, but with a brick oven type, it just burned it to a crisp. My friend ordered her own pizza with toppings of her choice. We were excited to give this a try. Sadly, we were both disappointed. The pizza really had no flavor, there wasn't much if any seasoning in the sauce, nothing on the crust and the scant amount of sausage mine had didn't give much flavor either. The crust was decent, the staff was nice and the pizza came out quick but it just was super bland. The place was packed with families so it's probably perfect for them, and for kids who don't want much spice or intense flavors on their pizza, but it was really a disappointment to us both. They do offer a small selection of beer and wine, and they didn't ask for ID. Even though I for SURE look over 21, they still should be asking as this is a brand new restaurant and they don't want to lose their new liquor license already. I may try it again or just head over to Antonio's just down the street instead. read more

Just had this pizza for the first time and it was wonderful. We made our own and we may have put too much on it but it still turned out good. I'll try one of the menu pizzas next time. We had the chicken Caesar salad as well and it was great. The spread of fresh ingredients really were impressive and looked very delicious. That was why we went overboard on our pizza.
